The question says it all! Curious girl looking to learn and understand 🙂 1. Do you feel like an Aquarius Moon 100% or do you relate to your Vedic Capricorn Moon in any way? 2. What’s your Moon Sign’s House Placement? 3. How is it aspected? 4. Is it true most Aquarius Moons prefer to be alone, & can go weeks by themselves without talking to anyone? 5. What’s your Venus Sign? 6. What are your deepest needs, desires, expectations, in a romantic relationship?! 7. Is it true most Aquarius Moons are quite detached in romantic relationships, and are able to get over someone, even if they’ve been with them for 4-8 years, relatively quickly? Apparently they can “exit” a relationship months before officially leaving, even if they’ve been living with the person for years. Feel free to let me know if you believe your Moon Sign influences the way you behave in a romantic relationship, or if it is moreso your Venus Sign, House, or Aspect(s). ------------------ Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC. Aqua moon here. It is my favorite placement in my chart, it is trine Saturn. I see my Moon as a "healthy" moon. I like to be alone and I love knowledge and learning something new. Because I have a healthy moon, I do not get attached to people, I am very indepedent, and I am very forward thinking. No, I do not relate to Vedic Cap moon. I used to be into sidereal but not anymore. IP: Logged |

My Aqua Moon is in the third house conjunct my Mercury. Also it opposes my Mars, trines Jupiter and squares my Ascendant.Aquarius moon is probably the reason I am still alive and/or not in prison. As a Pisces 4th house Sun, I am a very sensitive guy lol. I am able to use my water sign gifts of intuition and spiritual adaptability naturally. Sprinkle some zesty Uraniuan energy with that and you have a "genius". I can go from conscious to unconscious easily. I know when I'm acting out my lower self (Aqua Moon) when I drift off mentally. It's subconsciously very easy for me to set aside my emotions or basically just neglect them entirely. It has its pros and cons. Its second nature for us to forget our emotions and come off aloof. I would also agree and say Aquarius is a healthy spot for the Moon. You can deal with a lot, and everything is water off a duck's back. Aquarius Moon is cool in a way that in genuinely aids you in following your Sun sign, which is your higher self. I love my Aqua Moon it makes you certified professor in emotional matters but it is easy for us to come off cold. We don't necessarily "need" constant social activity to thrive. We have a P.H.D in the art of turning on/off your emotions at a moment's notice. Unconsciously, we don't don't really care for small talk. We know it's just filler. If we don't like someone we erase them from our minds (at least that's what I do). You wouldn't even know if I hated your guts. It is very easy for us to mask our emotions, we don't get caught up in drama and if we smell drama we BOUNCE. Aquarius Moons sincerely, left hand on the bible, HATE DRAMA. Aquarius is all about doing your own thing and humanitarianism, expression through mental eccentricity. Drama and Aqua energy don't mix. So a lot of us our loners. We are just trying to do our time and get out of here (or maybe that's my Pisces sun talking lol..) but Pisces and Aquarius are very similar to each other. One is mentally brilliant, the other is emotionally brilliant, but both representing the same thing in a different manner. Pisces helps Aqua FEEL the electricity, and Aqua helps ground the otherworldly Pisces with structure. Pros: Popular Loners Cool Observant & emotionally technical Humanitarian & charitable Dislike Drama of any kind Cons: Forgettable Emotionally dismissive Nonchalant & Robotic Unpredictable streaks Aqua Moons like to be crazy, they need on outlet to be as weird as possible and we don't judge. Need an outlet for our brilliance or we become unstable. Good sign for the Moon overall. Glad I was born on that day

So, tell me, why this Virgo sun Aquarius moon is so trying to get on your own business? Not even a friend, not even that close, why this Virgo sun Aquarius moon can't stop trying to correct or comment how you should or should not behave? It's not helping anything, it's rather this Virgo sun Aquarius moon puts himself into DRAMA and makes it more complicated. Isn't supposed they don't like jumping into drama? Then why this Virgo sun Aquarius male jumps into other people business?IP: Logged |

LOL, because they are a VIRGO!!! I hesitated to jump in here since I am not myself an Aqua moon, but my two longest relationships have been with a Sag sun/Aqua moon and Aqua sun/Sag moon, respectively, both with Cap Mercuries, and the differences between them were very clear and interesting to me. My mother was also an Aqua moon, with Pisces sun. (On the flip side, my sister is an Aqua sun with Cap moon.) So Aqua folks of all kinds are close to me!
My experience with Aqua moons is that they are very detached, almost repressed, emotionally and struggle to empathize. They can be incredibly manipulative because of this. However, they have a more general, impersonal compassion that is directed outward at the world - compassion for the idea of "people", "animals", "children" etc but not really able to empathize with a specific individual. It just doesn't manifest as much in personal, one-on-one relationships. I would say my Pisces sun mother was more of a loner while my Sag sun friend was and is much more social (his moon is in his 9th house and has no aspects smaller than 3*, his Venus in Cap in the 8th house tightly conjunct his Uranus, Neptune, and ascendant). My mother, however, had her moon exactly conjunct her Venus in the 9th as well, trine her Uranus and Ascendant and sextile her NN (making it trine her SN). She is definitely more of a loner and has alienated almost everyone in her life, practically incapable of maintaining relationships long-term. I would say yes to #7. Both my ex (we dated 4 years) and my mother (who has been married 4x, was married to my dad for 20 years) cheated before they left their relationships. Did not seem to give a damn in either case, BUT did remain loyal friends in their own way even if they also continued to extract resources from their exes. In both cases, they used their partners for material gain. But I think my ex has grown now and is the provider for his family - fatherhood has changed him, I think, in a way motherhood never changed my mother, or only brought out the worst in her. But I wouldn't attribute that necessarily to her moon sign or any one aspect. To #6, I'd say both of them needed a lot of freedom and independence. I know that's fairly cookbook for Aqua moon, but it resonates. Neither of them was capable of being tied down in any way. IP: Logged |

Nice encapsulation in the above, and I don't think it only applies to Aqua Moon, but also to Sun, Asc, Chart ruler, Mercury, Venus, and/or Mars to some extent as well, though it is more poignant in relation to feelings/emotions with the Moon and to a slightly lesser extent Venus. I'm actually surprised I'm not more like that myself with Libra Moon and ruler of same Aqua Venus which is Angular. While I definitely do have a detached side, and can often detach in most situations fairly well (MOST, not all..), I have too much of the feeling empathy to fully relate to the above. Probably relates astrologically to the Aqua Venus being almost exactly sextile Neptune and trine Pluto, and in the 7th House in a widish opposition with Leo Rising, and then both Jupiter and Neptune being very strong, with Pisces S.N. in 7th. Also doesn't help that the Moon, ruler of my 12th, is conjunct Saturn ruler of my Sun and Mercury Sign, and in turn the Sun is my chart ruler, so Capricorn is particularly highlighted. I think without that combo contributing, I'd likely be a lot more detached feeling, emotion, and empathy wise with the combo of Libra Moon and Aqua Venus. IP: Logged |

Yes, we can be detached most of the time. But when we actually care about or like someone. We do express our emotions. We feel things even if we don't put them on a public display. We are humanitarian in that we care about people as a whole. The Moon rules emotions so I think we are more detached than Aquarius Suns.IP: Logged |

I took the quote so I could better answer you. In my case I have the quasi stellium of Sun, Moon and Venus (0). Quasi because not all astrologers se same methods but for me they are all stacked in my Aquarius house. The professional generated reports I've had done tell me this is a highly communicative, artistic, intuitive (Ding ding, attached, connected) placement. My Moon falls in my 3rd but other system/Astro readers sometimes say 2nd. It feels (as I own this chart I should know) more 3rd. 1 - I feel more Aqua than Capricorn in my Moon qualities. 2 - I sort of answer that ^ 3 + 4 - Besides a quintile+bq, that cnj mentioned ^ I have a sextile between Moon and Asc. Which brings me more a receptivity in the emotional connections. I can be needy too (born a premi under a black sky - void moon, yet crescis what I think I'm noted as ) but can be isolated like a Hermit too. I can attach as easily as detatch. This could be more due to my Pluto qualities.
5 - Aqua 6 - Privacy, space, ability to be original and accepted for so. Cuddling and talking of romantic notions, as I'm very romantic (drac Pisces Venus, Moon). 7 - Yes! When we sense the connection doesn't fit us or it is wrong for us, we go cold. I do anyway. It's difficult to pretend, why try? Going cold is easier (aloof) to have the other not want anymore what is not an authentic connection. I struggle with the karmic ones though. To cut cords there is a bigger challenge. Especially when the karmic lesson on their side isn't recognized! I do think the going cold has brought me a feeling of guilt which other Aquas might get too. Due to not being able to "faking it to make it" as some other's might try. I find that my rising sign (sag) mixed with my Aqua nature has had me operate/ chose far too often primal needs firstly. Though sex is not plentiful in "a complete sense" of what is needed to bring a life of emotional satisfaction. To quote Mick Jagger "I cant Get No ... Satisfaction " ... in my case once sex is all that's there, I'm bored AH. I need emotional, intellectual, passion and romance to keep my Moon engaged. In the end the order is so huge - I turn to ME! It is painful when I feel nobody understands my needs though but I'm an adult and unique, that might be my issue. IP: Logged |

1. 100% feel like an Aqua Moon! 2. Probably because it's also in my 11th house! 3. It's a difficult placement though as it's square my NN/AC and Mercury/SN/DC. I have problems with female relationships at times. I have always felt like I just don't fit in anywhere, especially when it's a group of women. I'm just not a "typical" woman. I am very individual an don't like to be normal. I have a difficult time hiding my emotions and I can get teary eyed pretty easily with sadness or joy. My head fights with my heart a lot, especially as I get older. I once heard that moon square nodes can lend a psychic ability. My Moon is also sextile my 8th house Neptune and trine my 6th house Pluto. 4. This is true but I have a Scorpio 6th house stellium so I could literally live like Ted Bundy in the woods and not talk to anyone for years and be happy. Not sure if that's the Aqua or Scorp! However, I have always loved to be part of groups with a shared purpose - most strongly I love to be part of a choir as I love to sing. I hate solo singing - it has to be group focused. 5. My Venus is in Sagittarius 7th house CONJUNCT URANUS hahaha. More Aqua/Uranus. 6. My deepest needs are to be an equal with my partner and for my life partner to be my best friend first. And for them to really truly love me for who I really am, quirks and all. I don't like to be judged, scolded or told what to do or how to be. Just let me be who I am. If you give me freedom and non judgmental love, I will truly try to be my best self and make you happy. They should also support my many humanitarian causes, LOL. Be prepared for my occasional bouts of emotional distance and don't take it personal. I process my emotions with time and solitude - just give me space. I don't like to lean on people for emotional support. If I have enough time to think things over, I will come to my own conclusions and be able to self soothe. This is further accentuated though with my Venus conjunct Uranus. 7. See #6 for when I detach, but it's hard for me to say for sure because I am so heavy in Scorpio. I would say for me, when I am truly, deeply in love with someone which has only happened 1-2 times in my life and I feel like I'm truly accepted by that person I will actually be very clingy and needy and have a very difficult time getting over them. But I don't have enough fingers and toes to count for the times I've been pursued and just totally ran for the hills. I know almost immediately if I'm not into someone and then I really don't want anything to do with them - I will ghost like no one you've ever seen! I can also change my mind in a matter of seconds - if I think I like you a lot and you decide hey you like me too, I may change my mind with no warning! I can't help it! Before I met my husband, this was what my love life was like and I thought I would never find someone that I wouldn't eventually run from. I think us lunar Aqua's (and Aqua's in general) need a lot of Saturn stabilizing force in relationships. My husband's Saturn is exactly conjunct my sun - down to the minute! Hope that helps! It's not often talked about AmberMoon, but Aquarius is the second most psychic/intuitive zodiac Sign after Pisces. No, not Scorpio, not Cancer, but Aquarius. And the Planet Uranus is pretty up there as far as relating to intuition/psychism as well, and after Neptune and Jupiter, the 3rd most psychic/intuitive Planetary symbol. One of the most psychic/intuitive indications in my chart, is the ruler of my Moon and Pluto, Venus, being in Aquarius almost exactly sextile Neptune and trine Pluto, and being in the 7th House. Not the only one, and things like Pisces SN in the 7th, very strong Jupiter, very strong Neptune in general, strong Uranus, some 12th and 8th focus, etc contribute. But I can see very deeply into others when I want to. I usually try not to, to respect privacy and/or it can be heavy feeling at times, but yes, can read others very well..lol unless they are a woman I've attracted to and sometimes some of that gets ignored or glossed over. (Actually, I usually do know when the woman has issues or is likely to break my heart or the like, but sometimes still get involved). IP: Logged |

If someone has strong to very strong Moon, Venus, and/or Neptune it can strongly counter balance a lot of the more emotionally detached type themes in relation to strong Aquarius and/or Aquarius Moon. Those 3 Planets are very feeling oriented symbols, and Planetary energy is often stronger and more concentrated than Sign. Actual charts always need to be treated as a whole, and especially considering the strongest Planetary energies. IP: Logged | |
