My progressed Mars has been going hand in hand with transit Neptune for a couple of years, and they are not gonna part for several more! What can I do to reduce Neptune energy and to give a boost to my Mars? Thank God my progressed Moon just entered Aries and I was hoping things will get better, but I still have almost all my personal planets progressed in Pisces. Which I like but this Mars-Neptune thing just got too much out of control. Like total energy drain, incapacity to take the simplest action, a huge desire just to fall into nirvana and do nothing, but subconsciously stress and tension get accumulated, which in its turn blocks action... procrastination... terrible. Would appreciate any simple advice even non-astrological like maybe what mineral to wear? how to strengthen Mars. The thing is that I had done a lot of over-working over-disciplining Saturnian way and now having kind of an aversion to simple Saturnian methods. It doesn't help that transit Saturn is on my South Node and close to my Sun. I wish I could have energy and passion to do things but I don't... Please help!! IP: Logged |

Hmmm, interesting question, am in a somewhat similar boat. I thought things would get better when my progressed Moon went from 8th House Pisces to Aries and especially 9th, but its only been marginal. Anyways, what "might" help is red, red, and more red? Both in color, in stones, and in eating very Yang and stimulating foods like garlic and the like? Exercising more would probably help some as well? When Neptune is overwhelming a person, then time to start grounding back into the body in different, positive ways. Walking outside barefoot, hugging trees (literally), and the like can help ground. Good sex can be quite grounding. If you figure it out, let me know. I've been guided to take more B-12 and B-1 of late. Maybe should also up my iron, folate, and/or phosphorus in case there is a tendency to low level anemia? (much of my diet is vegan, so would not be a big surprise if I'm running low on certain nutrients). Mercury is Neptune's relative opposite, so it's not just about Mars, but also Mercury as well. You see this in relationships quite a bit. When a person has very strong Jupiter, Neptune, Sag, and/or Pisces, they tend to be attracted to people with very strong Mercury, Gemini, and/or Virgo as a counterbalance. Or vice versa. Mercury things like making concrete lists, writing things on the calendar (like, I'm doing this on so and so date), or the like could also help, along with yellow and/or tan colors, stones, and/or Mercury attuned foods, supplements, etc. IP: Logged |

When I was an artist, the artwork itself was grounding. I’d work for hours, and be lost in it, or be sitting quietly and listening to others, as I sketched. When I got my first digital camera, I started taking walks with it. It was like an active meditation. Several years before Neptune was conjunct my mars, square moon, Venus and nodes, trine Uranus/ascendant - when it was sextile my Ceres, Chiron and sun - I started learning to grow things. Gardening. When I was fully Neptuned, you could say, one of the best things for me, was to be starting seeds in the sunshine. Planting things in the earth. I was out there, moving things around, until I needed to stop and just let them grow. My stomach issues grew a lot worse during that time, so I started making huge pots of soup, letting the vegetables simmer on low for ages, so they would really soften up. Negatives were that my mother became an alcoholic, and that’s when my sister became abusive. All featured in other posts. I was making more smoothies, but they didn’t settle either, if my stomach was already flaring. Passion comes in different ways. It depends on the situation. relationships or projects or politics. Helping people or animals. Growing something, or sustaining it. Sleep is really important. It sounds like depression. Over the last few years, ever since my mum died, enthusiasm has been at an all time low. Along with other things going on, personally, and world-wide. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune square my Virgo Moon and I agree with GCE. To break the cycle of Neptunian procrastination, I go into full Virgo mode. I break my tasks down into bite size actions so I don’t get overwhelmed and then see each little action I finish as a victory. It’s basically a time management method called the pomodoro technique. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique IP: Logged |

I have Citrine crystals in my home office. And I’ve read some good things about Black Tourmaline. Not sure if it works, but I do think they’re beautiful to look at. I’m Earth dominant so I feel very attracted to pretty rocks.

I feel like I’m spamming now, but listening to music can also help with productivity especially when the beats are between 50-80 per minute. This is in synch with the average human heartbeat and research suggests this stimulates alpha brainwaves that helps with focus. You can search on YouTube for music and alpha brainwaves to get this type of music. https://www.google.nl/amp/s/www.entrepreneur.com/amphtml/325492 IP: Logged |

Don't be too idealistic to get furious, when it's really necessary. I have Neptune square Mars natally (not extremely exact), and although my Mars is otherwise strong and well aspected, my Neptune blocks it quite often, also causing that others victimize me sometimes. Even Jesus got mad occationally, don't be too holy to tell others when they are utterly wrong, it won't help anybody. I just posted an angry thread in Lindaland 2.0 about our health authorities here, now I'm feeling less blocked in my Mars-energy.IP: Logged |

I do this, but it doesn't always work for me. Sometimes it does. Music can help, but for me, watching something light can cheer me up, as I start to get into something that I've put off. Like when I tried baking something. The dough was in the fridge, my sleep schedule was off, I was up most of the night, and not feeling energized. So I put on Jane the Virgin, on my phone, used my bluetooth headphones, and as it lightened me up, I was baking, and then starting seeds off (something else I'd put off). I have to shift my mood. Mars in Pisces, square Moon, venus and nodes, trine Uranus/ascendant. IP: Logged |

I do think, what I wrote here yesterday, can be right and work well, depending on the situation. But this morning I started to think about my own fogged vision (Neptune-square ?).I got mad at people yesterday for mistakes I had made myself before, I had forgotton it : http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/005711.html I read yesterday, that with Neptune squaring Mars natally, you can get misdiognosed from doctors. Happened to me a lot, watch out for that if you have it in progressed charts/transits... A family member has a trine between Neptune and Mars, even that might have contributed to/caused the same, but there are other, difficult aspects involved, too. We didn't always have the same medical problems and doctors, so mostly the misdiagnoses with big consequences were independent from eachother. IP: Logged |

You having to deal with the issues of that House. You've done the right thing by identifying 'what effect' it seems to have on you. Perhaps you can seek an 'accountability' person (in real life), with whom you can share what's going on, and WHAT you want to accomplish, and whatever plans you have on HOW to get there! Neptune can 'fog' ... You need others to help be the guard rails. They can perhaps point out things you are 'totally' missing or 'blind' to DOING in your life. Find the positive of it? This could be good for artistic kinds of creativity. If you're in accounting or something super left brain, this will bring you BALANCE-- having you use the other side of your brain for a while. Should be able to INCREASE your Intuitive faculties, by making a demand on it. Even if you're in a left brain job, having sparks of 'intuitions' could lead you towards parts of your vocation (or adding to your life in terms of a new interest) that can be an enhancement for you? (I don't have a copy of your chart) When you're in the fog bank, ask for feedback from people close to you who are NOT experiencing that. Make an accountability partner? With some generational transits, it's better when you seek counsel from someone/people who are much older, or much younger-- otherwise you're in a shared fog?? oh my!!! Best of Luck IP: Logged | |
