I can't believe I just noticed this just last night. During Mercury retro no less. LOL!I don't recall any focus on this aspect in the various interpretations I read about the USA's Pluto return. What does it mean that Pluto was retro and not direct when the USA was founded? IP: Logged |

This was the FIRST of 2 retrogrades of Pluto at 27 degrees of capp, To be more precise, in the USA chart, Pluto was retro at 27Cap33'8 on July 4, 1776. When Pluto had its second retro in September 1777 on 27 Capp, it didn't quite make it to 33'. It went direct on 27Capp43' in Mid October 1777 Right after it went direct on 27Capp, France started hinting it would recognize the US, and formally recognized the USA as an independent nation 2 months later, in December 1777. France was the first foreign ally of the newly independent US. IP: Logged |

I am saying all this to say that we need to look at the retrograde movements of the current Pluto transits on 27Capp and when it will go direct for good as markers of important events for the US. Of course, the return started before Pluto hit the exact degree of natal placement. We acknowledge that. Especially since Pluto is an insidious planet, not showing its hands until too late for its opponents. IP: Logged |

Pluto is Rx half the time. So roughly half of us and half of the group organizations have Pluto-Rx.Pluto-Rx in a nation's chart relates to revisiting and resolving old issues (and abuses) of power as patterned in the past. That nation's past as well as history in general. In some contexts, this would appear to create a more conservative bent (rather than a forward-looking progressive bent). It also internalizes the process of empowerment more to the people, internally to the soul of the nation — rather than to external power structures. So no matter how powerful a nation the US becomes, it must reconcile its external actions and structures of power with its internal (purpose of) power. The USA's strong Pluto aspects allow it to engage in external power building. So it contains both the internal and external potentials. ------------------ Join me at Health Positive! my newsletter on substack: http://healthpositive.substack.com/ IP: Logged |

^^^ I have no planets in retrograde, so it has always been harder for me to understand retrogradation.I do understand what you are saying about the USA needing to give power internally, to the people, and it makes a lot of sense. The USA's Pluto has not reached exact return degree yet. The return will be exact around February 20, 2022, but it will be direct, NOT retrograde, and I am not sure it constitutes a real exact return.
However, around July 12, 2022, Pluto will be retro on the exact degree it was retro in the US chart! That IS the us Pluto return exact and I suspect the events around this time should be decisive and definitive. IP: Logged |

No way! Pluto was retro!? Thanks for that info! I have Pluto retro natally. I did not like the recent pluto rx as a matter of fact. But I think it is because of my 22 degree Aries Sun. I have felt some relief since it went direct. SOME! LOL IP: Logged |
