Usually, general 'celebration events' and 'holiday threads' get started in LLC2.0 forum. That's like LL's Front Page (ref Newspapers).

We've had some Holiday threads started in Asteroid Astrology forum, where we can have fun sharing name and holiday-word placements in our charts. In the past we've had several Halloween-style asteroid threads there.

Some "Sacred" Holidays (for a variety of Belief Systems) have had ongoing threads that get their *yearly bumps* in Divine Diversities forum.

I did a Diwali post in a concepts thread in Vedic Forum the other day.

it's not ruined or anything, not even sad, just like a "hmmm what do i do?" sort of thing

i'm not into dressing up and going to parties or bars so i don't really have any attachment to that side of halloween and never did as a kid

not into wearing gloves or contact dermatitis so no carving pumpkins either

ritual stuff always though was out of drugs and a trip to nyc got delayed so eh

Well, I didn't wear a mask, but I did wear a kilt. Dressed up as a Scottish pirate (why pirates always got to be English, like my mate Jack Sparrow?), and two different nights, spoke in a Scottish accent the entire night. People tried to get me to break character, but aye, I ken what they were dew'en, but I dinnah break. In a parade, a lass thought I was Jamie from Outlander.. (pfff).

To each their own I suppose, but I just enjoy Halloween on a few different levels. It's very Scorpio-Leo combo for me.

If I had to define my psyche in relatable, everyday terms, it would be like I'm made up of a very old, ancient man who is a bit cranky though mostly wise, a little kid bursting with joy, enthusiasm and positivity, and a Jewish mother who wants to cook you food and nurture you to death. (Ok, those are my main/predominant personalities, there is a smattering of more niche and subtle contributors as well)

Anyways, the old man part of me very much understands where you are coming from. Do you have any highlighted Capricorn or Virgo in your chart by any chance?
