Is there anyone who comes here who has really long hair (like hip length/tailbone and longer?
I wonder if there are any placements that might show someone with very long hair and a strong preference to maintain very long hair. especially when you start to hit knee length and more.

I don't nor ever got mine that long. Maybe to the middle of my back. I knew a Libra Sun and Taurus Sun that did. Ladies.
Also one Gemini My first thoughts were A Leo (mane) - they seem like possibly. Venus looks like it might be involved as two of three I knew had it so long. Mercury with the Gem, maybe good at manifesting a long mane. IP: Logged |

Interesting premises. Perhaps someone with asteroid Rapunzel on the ascendant. Or asteroid Lady Godiva or Godiva on the ascendant. Also someone with fixed star Coma Berenice on the ascendant. Don't know for a fact, just throwing these suppositions out there.  ETA: We need to check the chart of famous long haired ladies like Jane Seymour... I also think Uranus might play a role in excessively long hair because Uranus is all about things that are different from the norm. IP: Logged |

Mine is halfway down my back. It used to be down to my knees, which was freakishly long, so the only way I could wear it was in a ponytail.IP: Logged |

Well, Randall just broadened the conversation. Why restrict long hair to women?  For men, we may have to look at asteroid Samson position in the chart, since long hair was how he derived his strength. Zeus aka Jupiter was said to be long haired. So for men, maybe Jupiter conjunct or aspecting ascendant might be a factor. I am trying to think of long haired mythological figures that are males.... IP: Logged |

WOW Randall..longest mine got was half way down my thighs. got a lot of compliments but getting it caught in random things like doors and elbows was not a good time. its been down the middle of my back for a few years now.. used to cut it really really short every couple of years and let it grow down to my tailbone. maybe aries placements since it rules the head/hair? Most people i know who love keeping long hair (cliche alert) are Leo Sun/Moon/ Mars or have Leo Asc 🤷🏿♂️.I have never seen Fabio Lanzoni (the "Italian Stallion" 90's Romantic fiction cover model) with short hair....he does not have Leo Asc. But Leo Mc. Jason Momoa started growing his hair in recent years(Sun in Leo). Perhaps Leo isn't about long hair really. But the ones I know are preoccupied with hair.🤣 IP: Logged |

Leo, uh?... Food for thought.Anyway I checked the chart for Jane Seymour and she has a conjunction of Jupiter, mars and Venus in flowy Piasces. and she has URanus in Cancer. She comes across as very feminine to me, so she could be either Pisces or Cancer rising... IP: Logged |

Ever heard of Crystal Gayle, who sang Don't it Make my Brown Eyes Blue in the 70s? She had a quite distinctive look with her knee length hair. https://vintagenewsdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/crystal-gayle-5.jpg I checked my asteroids theory with her and it did not prove right. I couldn't find asteroid Rapunzel, maybe doesn't exist. But I did find Godiva, and I also found asteroid Sif, named after the wife of Thor in the Norse mythology, she was said to have hair reaching to her feet. And none of these asteroids are significant in her chart. Crystal Gayle is Libra rising with Neptune close to the ascendant.... Could Neptune do that? I dunno. I have known another person also with Libra rising and Neptune conjunct ascendant, and her hair is not long. So I give up! IP: Logged |

I haven't cut my hair (other than trimming away split ends maybe once a year) since I was 11 (now 34). So my hair is long and I have a strong preference for keeping it that way. Unfortunately the terminal length of my hair seems to be around the waist, can't get it to grow any longer than that. Would if I could. I have a Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon, and Libra Asc with Venus in Taurus. Jupiter in Aries, no Leo placements. The stars of Coma Berenice are in the vicinity of my Ascendant but not conjunct, though Diadem is conjunct my South Node. My mother on the other hand had really long hair as a child/teen, she could easily grow it to her hip or longer, but she had no preference for it and cut it short as soon as her mother would let her decide for herself (and has keept it short ever since). She is a Leo Sun, Aries Moon, Cancer Asc. ------------------

those asteroids arent doing anything significant in my chart.. only have saturn in leo.. neptune is parallel my ascendant though but that could just be fluidity in appearance.given the data here, maybe mars in aspect to jupiter (or jupiter in aries) with a venusian or neptunian essence? i have mars parallel jupiter. what is in randalls chart??? most of the leos ive known spend more time on their hair, but dont necessarily have long hair. mine is long mainly because i dont trust salons (handful of bad experiences) so i cut my own hair. i guess its part laziness and part losing track of time.

My hair is definitely longer than usual for a male, though not near as long as Randall's (mine is shoulder length currently). Not sure what correlates with it, maybe a combo of strong Leo and Uranus with moderate Aquarius. Angular Pisces SN and strong Jupiter probably correlates some. A little of it is vanity (I look better with long hair), but it's mostly a subtle F U to society/norms but without caring too much one way or the other. Also, my partner likes long hair. Sometimes I shave it all off in the spring, but she doesn't like that. IP: Logged |
