Thinking outside the box? Sounds very Uranian to me. Aquarius Venus, Venus in aspect to Uranus, H5 ruler in Aquarius or in aspect to Uranus.

Or maybe the thrill of the chase? More a Martian influence. Aries Venus, Venus in aspect to Mars, H5 ruler in Aries or in aspect to Mars.
