He actually has Sun and Mercury in the 12th house. Now I see why he’s so sensitive. And he probably likes me because he has Moon in the 2nd.

Yes. "Hopeless" being the operative word here. But with the added Mars, there is often quick anger should there be a rebuff/ limitation to the fulfillment of those ideals. IP: Logged |

I actually think it’s the Venus trine Mars aspect that’s causing this.

The Venus trine Mars aspect tends to express affection easily or finds ease in supporting dialogies between you two towards harmonic co-existence and well-being. There may be passion(Mars). But the passion is more towards building, than breaking alliances. Ven/Mars trine also has an appetite for receiving TLC and can be appreciative of beauty(in all its forms). When in earth, it can love the "down to earth" attitude and common sense of someone they are attracted to🙏🏿

His natal Capricorn Venus square Libra Pluto could be a thing. It forms a square triangle with your Gemini Mars opposite his Sagittarius Sun. I don’t think he likes to be left in the dark when it comes to relationships. Ego and control issues might play a role here if he hasn’t done the work on his Venus square Pluto yet. Your Gemini Mars could be very triggering for him.I’m also seeing a lot of Chiron. Your Chiron on his DC and his Chiron on your MC. And composite Chiron conjunct north node, opposite his natal Uranus and square your natal Psyche. And to be honest I’m not too fond of his natal Mars square Neptune either. I don’t want to make you worry unnecessary but if you’re going to meet him please make sure that you’re in a safe environment. Let people know where you’re going and with whom you are there. Maybe be extra safe and have a friend nearby so you can have an easy exit if he does make you feel uncomfortable? IP: Logged |

I currently have transit Neptune conjunct my Venus. And I think this is what’s causing me to feel like things are too good to be true. I feel the Chiron aspects we both talk a lot about our pasts hurts and the things we’ve been through in other relationships. We both have admitted that there is a connection between us. He talks about how much he’s been hurt in love. And how he’s tired of getting his heart broken. About how he always ends up with a broken heart. He fell in love with a woman who he met online and never met. She ended up being married and he got his heart broken. We seemed to open up to each other really quickly. And it scared me because I usually don’t feel that comfortable with people. I told him that I’ve never felt this connection with anyone before. I really want to meet him in person.

Everyone has challenging aspects in their chart, it depends on free will if people have actually learned to handle these in a positive way. I think the best indication will always be your own gut feeling. If something doesn’t add up or just doesn’t feel right then that is a big red flag. If you feel comfortable around them and there’s a connection then it’s worth a gamble. But still, as long as you don’t know the person very well, make sure you’re in a safe place.
