Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been here. The past year I've cut out quite a bit to focus on just myself and my family and that included my hobbies. I'm diving back into astrology and I want to start with my oldest son. A few months ago he was diagnosed with Asperger's, ADD, general anxiety disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. It's been...rough,to say the least. I can clearly see the defiance in his chart. The sun is catching two squares from Mars and Pluto, that has defiance written all over it and he can be EXTREMELY argumentative. He very much is a double edged sword sometimes. He is very charming and so warm hearted ❤️ and then he'll turn face and become so manipulative. The Saturn/moon opposition to venus/mercury I'm sure is lending a hand to that. There's a lot of different energies at work here and I've taken a step back to see him as a person first, and now I'd like to equate some of these struggles to his chart. Any help would be greatly appreciate. It's been a while since I've posted a chart. Could someone please remind me which part of the link to delete so the image will show? Thank you!

Welcome back, Dons2angelss. I'm answering your question regarding IMG graphic.* Removing the 's' from http BEFORE you hit 'submit reply' and post, should allow the IMG Codes to post the graphic. * Some problems get resolved by using Edit, then deleting the 's' and repost. * Some problems are stubborn, and need an extra step: Copy your IMG-url to Clipboard (to save it). . . 1. Try going into the post using Edit, and remove the entire url, and hit Submit Reply. 2. Refresh your browser. 3. Now go into your post again using Edit, and paste your IMG-url there again-- making sure you removed the http 's'. Submit Reply. 4. Refresh Browser. You should be able to see the graphic. If not? . . Consider just leaving it as-is. Should become a clickable url {as it is doing now}. This will take folks TO the Chart of your Son. On rare occasions, suddenly the IMG-url will become a 'graphic', right when you've given up on it. Stay Encouraged.

I hope the best for you and your son. I was diagnosed with Aspergers in High School (I'm male)...they later changed my diagnosis to ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). Sometimes I don't give the traits out, other times I do. Sometimes I'm very articulate for every last detail other times I just turn off. My best advice is not to go against what he is interested and always try support what he is interested. If he sees you as more of someone trying to help him acheve his goals then you'll have an easier time with him. My overprotective Cancer parents always thought they were doing me a favour by doing things for me, I always liked to figure it out myself. Now in my Adult years they final get it. A medical diagnosis of an apparently idiopathic origin. Many people on the spectrum seem to take offense at those who look into the causes of this. So I'm curious to know what you think about that — IF you've been diagnoses with this label/condition. ------------------ The Declinations Guy | Expert Birth Chart Rectification Join me at Health Positive! my newsletter on substack: http://healthpositive.substack.com/ IP: Logged |

I think a lot depends on where on the spectrum the person diagnosis lands on. I've been through diffrent groups and..within the first five minutes you can tell if the person fits into the high functioning ASD categeory or the low functioning ASD category . If your in the high functioning category chances are you'll doubt even if you have a disablity since high functioning ASDs can function and operate normally, subtle traits only come out time to time. But when you realize having the diagnoses sometimes helps you reach your goals then sometimes you might be less sensitive to say it... Think of the obsessive math major that locks themselves in there room for a year to solve one of the remaining 6 MIT millennium problems. If not for the diagnoses they probably whouldn't get the support to do it. That's how I think of most high functioning ASDs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Prize_Problems But I will admit i'm not going to go out an advertise that i'm an ASD. I just mentioned it this time because I thought I could help her and her son out. I think the low function ASDs whould be alot more sensitivity to being called out. If I encounter a low functioning ASD..I never bring it up....try to treat the person normally as they whould be more sensitve to being called out for being ASD. ..and yes model trains are an ASD trait too. I have two sets myself. I get them cheap on ebay auctions, repair and repaint them into new condition. Thank you for sharing that ❤️ we try very hard to go with his flow. He is VERY into music and plays 3 instruments. His traits are pretty easy to spot if you know what to look for. He avoids eye contact, has episodes of stemming, and a long list of quirks. He's almost 14 and while he's old enough to be able to do things on his own, he doesn't do a lot. His motivation level is non existent unless it's about music. It's a massive struggle to not get into an argument about him taking care of himself. His oppositional defiant disorder comes out swinging if he is met with anything other than just not speaking to him completely.
With his moon/Saturn opposite mercury/venus I don't want to cause him to feel misunderstood unloved or not supported. That's an extremely sensitive combination of planets. In virgo/pieces no less.

Also, I forgot to mention that my son also has a primary immunodeficiency. He has no humoral immunity and his diagnosing doctor said immunity issues seem to correlate a lot with autism spectrum disorders.

And funny enough, he was OBSESSED with Thomas the train when he was younger. Every "obsession" he went through throughout the years we'd try to collect them all. He had every character from Thomas and he'd sit for hours quietly lining them all up over and over again. IP: Logged | |
