It was ass. Has been for the past few years now, but 2021 was the worst. It's not just "growing up." There was a distinct empty energy in the air, for the holiday season in general. There's a lot of societal reasons I can list out easily as to why, but I want to see what the planets are saying. I actually felt the same. When I was looking at the fire works during New Years, I was thinking just how empty it felt and that people only did it because they were supposed to. IP: Logged |

This has mostly been the case for me since 2007, and especially since 2011 on, except for one or two when things seemed to be improving. It did feel especially bad this last year, which I wasn't expecting.Omicron was surging (still is). That didn't help. IP: Logged |

No, because astrology doesn't actually directly cause anything, with the exception of Solar activity (like Solar flares etc) and Lunar cycles directly influencing emotions, health, etc. (but we are not talking that kind of "astrology" here). People are burnt out from SARS-CoV-2 and everything around it. Are there astrological correlations/reflections/indications in relation to that? Perhaps, haven't looked too much. Capricorn is an intense, testing, collective Sign, and Pluto is an intense, testing, collective Planet, and both Capricorn and Pluto have connections with power structures (and Pluto to corruption, upheaval, etc), and I think Pluto has entered Capricorn from the Sidereal zodiac as well? The only time I ever look at Sidereal zodiac is in relation to collective events and the like. Like especially global stuff. Specific nations and events can sometimes also be reasoned from the Tropical, especially in relation to their "birth" chart. IP: Logged |

Yeah, COVID is an obvious one. The general upheaval and tension going on in the world overall is another one. I'm trying to say is what planetary transits are reflecting this energy? Uranus moving into Taurus is another obvious one, but I'm wondering if anybody knows anymore possibilities.

Sorry for those who had a lousy Christmas. The holiday season can be tough on many people with or without Covid. I am not sure why when I look at my chart, but I have always had lovely Christmases. Even as a child, the Christmas season was a happy time for me with the parents being very patients toward us, the christmas music playing on the radio, and the joyful expectation of gifts and reveillons. As an adult, I don't focus on gifts so much anymore, except the ones I get to give. Getting together with people is always nice, but if for any reason I am going to be alone, I make it a spiritual time, a time of reflection over the past year and how I would like to live the next year.
