This could be a work environment, a live in situation, a new boss or family dynamic etc.

You may feel "bound" or "grounded" for the time. A lot of your enthusiasm and spirit (Mars) is facing restriction either through reprimand OR a conscious effort on your part to "reign it in"(Sat).

Whatever it is, you'll feel like your self expression is ill timed or "inappropriate".The atmosphere being very stifling as it doesn't allow you to be YOU.

An example would be that you find yourself in an environment where group mentality I.e "we" instead of "I" reigns supreme.

This is the like the new girl from out of town who tries to fit in with the country folks and is shunned for being from the city. So she feels alienated by the group(Sat in Aqua) and can doubt herself and lose confidence in who she is(Leo)

Or the reverse I.e a country girl(brown eyes and bushy tailed) comes into a city environment that is very "cliquey" and "exclusive" (Aqu). Her "country" ways are seen as "so last season" etc.

It's a time to keep your head down and retreat into yourself. Be mindful that YOU are NOT the issue. The environment is. Write that down and hang it up somewhere throughout this transit.

Sat transits are to me unnecessarily demoralizing. More especially the square and opposition. I don't get what one "learns" from all that spirit crushing momentum Saturn brings.

Typically speaking however, there is usually(and simultaneously) a Jupiter sextile or trine to ease the process of the energy a little. An energy that is a "pick me up" after a terrible let down.

So look at Jupiter and aspects it makes around the same time.

With Saturn conjunct natal Moon, there's no doubt that you'll have to suppress or otherwise control/direct the more unpleasant feelings like anger. But this transit allows you the chance to get some objectivity on your reactions to others and your interactions with them on the grounds of control/assertiveness. Saturn's challenging transits to the Moon are always about being more clear of your needs and containing emotional spillage.

As to the Mars part, it is a character building exercise of patience, persistence, and being clearer as to your purposes and what it takes to get to your goals.

Proactive control is the issue: How much are you taking in your own life? How much are you depending on others to structure and direct your efforts? That may have to be redefined during the transit to be more appropriate for your life now.

At least one or two people may seem to block your way or give you trouble. Those you may've come to rely on for cooperation may not be there as you'd like. In the more extreme cases this transit can seem as if you're getting not only no cooperation from others, but people seem to be sabotaging your efforts. This can be latent competitiveness coming out that may have no explanation on your end, or it may be the result of your prior actions come back around to you.

Saturn limits and focuses the drive to do and be free of Mars in Aquarius — not like a blockage to action, but limiting impulse preferences in favor of being better acquainted with the purpose in your direction and particular efforts.

That can be irritating and frustrating. Just be ready to find ways around any such barriers if the line of action really matters to you. If it is an effort/project that can be delayed it probably will relieve your stress to delay it. If it must be done, then .

I'd be ready with a practice, supplement, or herbal tea that is effective at relieving frustration or anger.

The energy of a square can be felt similar to that of an opposition, but I think they are best handled differently for the most part.

Because you natally have Moon square Mars, you are already familiar with this tension and somewhat dissonance between your emotions and your actions. Saturn moving into this aspect and sitting on your moon is bound to exasperate this conflict. Keep in mind that Saturn rules your moon already.

It could be an opportunity for you to look at your actions through the lens of Saturn and see how you can improve the way you move about this world. So you could be your own worse critic so to speak.

However, North Node will also be approaching your natal Mars, so it is not a given that your actions are wrong in themselves.

For some reason I thought your parenthetical mention of your natal Mars being at a Taurus degree was referring to a secondary sign metric like dwads. That would change my input, but I'll amend it only in response to further interest on your part.
