Topic: Starting a new job during mercury retrograde

If you start a new job during mercury retrograde will it only affect you in the retrograde period or will it affect you the whole time you're working there? I started a new job on January 31st, I had the job interview the week before but I started and signed the documents on the 31st. Mercury was in my 5th house then but it was also making a lot of harsh aspects to my personal planets the day I started the job. Mercury was opposing my sun and jupiter and doing a square to my moon all within 0-1 degree orbs. The moon was also doing an opposition to jupiter when I was signing the documents. Since I started I have been very unhappy and I just want to resign from the job. Sometimes I'm happy and feel content with the job but then I just get this wave of hatred for the job because I feel trapped for some reason. The job is customer support for a tech company so it has a lot of mercury energy to it and it is something I am interested in and something I'm good at. The company is nice too and the colleagues are nice as well but I just don't feel good about it. I just feel stressed and have doubts about everything relating to the job. Is this because of me starting the job during mercury retrograde? And if so will these feelings disappear with time or is it something that I will have until I quit the job? IP: Logged |

I would say that the feelings you are experiencing are likely to continue. You are aware of the challenging aspects made in your chart by the transit planets on the first day you started, so you already know enough about astrology to know that those are indicators of things to come.If you have Saturn or Pluto strong in your chart, you might want to continue to keep this job and work through your feelings and allow this job to transform them or transform you.
