hello
I have the north node in Taurus (11th). It’s opposite Pluto in my chart.

I have no idea what the north node in Taurus is meant to signify. Having money and being cosy? Eating food in a community? Sorry I understand I’m probably being snarky but it just seems very… lame? My soul purpose is to be sensual amongst friends?

If anybody else has north node in Taurus (due for a return like me!) can you let me know what on earth this placement likely signifies? I have googled but just seems very textbook Taurus that I’m not clear is in any way a soul’s purpose?

Muchos thanks x

In general principle, this transit highlights and reaffirms your soul's best direction, growth, and sense of purpose/future. It is time to get more clarity on that so that your choices will move you forward.

That could mean getting clarity on such fundamental things as where you live, what you focus on vocationally — whatever it is that will move you into the next phase of (soul) growth. This is not a material matter, so try not to nail it down to a brick-and-mortar interpretation based on signs/houses.

It is a spiritual matter that deserves spiritual attention. Make it a matter of meditation/prayer. Ask for clarity on where to go, what to do. Follow your curiosity. Follow the synchronicity.

The last time I had a nodal return I went through this process and got clarity on where I should live. That was my conscious initiation of the process. Over the next 2 years, through help and openings via key people, I made a complete change in my life. But it was because I was ready for it and said yes. I moved 2,000 miles from the state I grew up in and spent nearly 40 years.

You've got at least around 6 months for this transit. So that's plenty of time to give serious consideration to your overall direction of soul growth. It's not about a single choice that you might base on the sign/house involved. Make it an internal search that asks for clear external signs. Talk to the universe about it and know you are heard.

The window of opportunity is characterized very much by what other transits

Taurus is the Sign of the "builder". In Aries, there often many ideas and actions sparked, but Aries doesn't always have the follow through to actually complete its creative projects/ideas/concepts.

This is where Taurus comes in as the next step. It takes those ideas/concepts, etc, slows down the process and manifests it in on the material plane. It is the sign of crystallization.

This is part of its connection to ruling the throat. Speech and vocalization is a powerful vibrational expression. It takes the ideas, thoughts, etc of the mind (consciousness) and/or intellect, and channels it through the body into sound vibration out into the outer world to affect others and creation itself. Sound vibration is a slower vibratory/longer wavelength expression of frequency/vibration that powerfully resonates with the physical body and level itself.

This is why toning/chanting as a spiritual practice can be a very powerful tool of attunement--it directly can affect the endocrine glands of the body, which are like the "Chakras" or energetic centers of the body on the physical level.

Also singing is very powerful and can stir the emotions and glands like nothing else, and Taurus is VERY associated with singing, for the vocal expression and communication of Taurus, tends less to everyday speech which tends to involve more the left hemisphere of the brain (i.e. more connected to symbols like Mercury, Aries, Saturn, 3rd House, Gemini, Virgo, etc), but more so right brain hemisphere attunement and expressions--like singing.

There is an amazing true account of a girl who could not communicate to others through speech and seemingly could not understand others via speech either. She had some kind of brain damage to the left brain hemisphere. Some particularly intuitive aide or helper that worked with her, eventually figured out that she could understand/perceive communication via singing quite well though.

The 11th House is about community, group connection, and more conscious group consciousness. It is shared/collective creativity.

There are many different ways that having N. Node in Taurus in 11th could manifest. To truly understand it though, you also have to look at its opposite of having Scorpio SN in the 5th. This also can mean various different things for different individuals.

It could mean anything from the person was overly focused on sex and/or romance in others lives (like a real sex addict), to having had powerful attachment to but also expression of personal creativity--possibly though in a somewhat tortured sense. If Vincent Van Gogh ever directly reincarnated, for an example, I would not be surprised if his present or future self would have Scorpio South Node in the 5th (perhaps also conjunct Venus and/or Neptune in same).

You're the best person to figure out what the symbols specifically mean for you. Again, these symbols are multi-faceted and can manifest in various different ways.

I am also going to have a nodal return: my natal NN is 21Tau54 in 5th house, and transit NN is at 26Tau10.

I'm waiting for something that I have wanted ever since I was a little girl, and if I get it, it'll be my dream come true. I was able to finally work towards it 12 years ago, and I have read from a Japanese astrology site that this is the year that my hard work will pay off. I wonder if this nodal return aligns with that.

There are a few other things that I am waiting to happen this year also (career changes and family life) but everything is up in the air at the moment and my anxiety is through the roof. I know I need patience but it's so difficult. How do I manifest so everything turns out okay this year?

I guess just, none of theee things feel in any way appropriate to me. I appreciate it’s a personal thing but I guess I can’t find the balance.
Whenever I try to think of what it could be - for example, maybe spending more time learning something or buying a home or building or creating or changing myself in some way, it’s like it doesn’t feel that it’s that. I can’t see what Scorpio type thing it would be. It’s really strange. Like o genuinely feel quite lost about it. Normally I can be like “ok so, no more being involved in other peoples fuckery” or “it means you need to slow down and take your time not rush rush rush” or even both of
Those things…but it just doesn’t feel right. I feel quite rudderless

I have a t square between NN and Pluto 11/5 and then the t is tje 8th house… the house of Pluto so that’s not helpful at all lol

The Moon's Nodes are the points where the Moon's path crosses the Sun's path (ecliptic). So in the birth chart it represents the balance and harmony that comes from being especially aligned with who you really are.

Just let that happen.

And remember you have a wide range of choices within that.

It doesn't mark a single bull's eye of what you 'must do.' That's not it at all. So think of it externally in terms of direction, but internally as what feels most like you finding your calling. Just go a step at a time. What you already know subconsciously can be known consciously in time.

Sometimes it is limiting beliefs (or black-and-white thinking) about ourselves that keep us from seeing the obvious and acting on it.
