Hey guys! So, I've been reading a bit about out-of-sign conjunctions - and was wondering what everyone's experience with it was like. I have Saturn conjunct my moon, although wide - Saturn is in Pisces and Moon is in Aries. It's weird because I feel Arian most of the time emotionally, but I do feel like the water Saturn cools it down a lot, especially when my Saturn is triggered by something.

My moon is 29 libra, Pluto 0 scorpio and when I was younger you would have thought I had a scorpio moon. Extreme to the absolute extreme with my mood swings. After I had my 1st son I really "came into" my libra moon. Basically I gained way more control over myself so that the libra could shine through. I still have the ability to kind of nose dive into scorpio but the Pluto influence has hammered in the control part. I'm much more balanced and more of an intellectual feeler now.

Interesting! Okay, so it does change as time goes by - especially as you gain more control over those outer planets which comes with age I assume.

In my experience yes. Especially where Pluto is involved (control and mastery) I'm sure if it were say, Neptune, the older you get the better you can bridge the gap of the more universal concepts of Neptune as the higher octave of Venus. Especially when it's out of sign, you'll bring the higher qualities of the sign your personal planet is in with the higher calling of the outer planet.

Dons I wonder if that has more to do with it being Pluto conjunct moon rather than the Scorpio cusp necessarily.

Lily, thank you for posting about this. I have such a conjunction but haven’t pondered it much. I have more research and reflection to do but here are my initial thoughts.

I have moon in Aries 28 conjunct Venus in Taurus 0. I read that the more outer planet has a stronger influence but that the higher degree one is more evolved/mature. It’s funny to imagine Aries being more mature than Taurus though! It’s hard for me to separate these influences from my Taurus sun and Aries Mercury. I would say though that I did not realize until my late twenties my “powers of attraction” nor that many people of the opposite sex find me “intimidating”. I certainly had never perceived myself that way and I think it comes from the yin/yang combination, especially with the dominant Aries energy. The moon is also my chart ruler and the conjunction falls in my 10th house, so it is very prominent. I would certainly say my ability to emote/show vulnerability with courage, empathize, and understand emotions generally is way more evolved than any self-awareness about my powers of attraction, so I think the degree thing is true in my case. However, Venus being the stronger influence may account then for how it was more powerful than I realized. Over time I have started to learn how to attract others but it’s definitely something I’m still figuring out.

Also, I think it's important to note that in OOS conjunctions, one planet will typically be in the anaretic degree - https://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum34/HTML/001499.html

This may alter your interpretation.
