I have progressed Sun arcing to square prog Mars exact. Can those with natal Sun/Mars aspects please brief me on the nature of this energy from your own personal experiences?

Inputs from the square, opp and conj will be appreciated

I had this progression, a decade or so ago. Maybe eight or nine years, directly after progressed sun conjunction to moon, Venus and south node. I also had transiting Neptune conjunct mars, though.

I dealt with some actual violence, but mars is in my fourth house, which is where it happened. My home. I also felt feral - sometimes I still do - but I had no real escape for long, from the stress, because it was in my home.

That's hectic. I can see how this can manifest into actual violence.

So far,I am not feeling any changes in temperature. I still feel pretty calm🤣

I thought it was the progressed Sun that was affected by Mars. So my logic was that my personality is going to become more direct and impatient.🙆🏿‍♂️

There has been some drama in the home life.Some very open aggression has shown up with the family(Dad's). And it has now become clear to us all that we do not have a Father and never really had a man(in the 1st place).🤷🏿‍♂️

I was just thinking that when I had this progression, for a few years there, my progressed sun was essentially conjunct the mars of the guy my sister married. She was abusive, because of him - although she made the choice, he was behind it. His mars is conjunct my moon, Venus and south node, square my mars, trine my Pluto, and sextile my Jupiter. Inconjunct my Uranus/ascendant. I think his mars was further along (5 degrees), but the progression was applying the entire time, and squaring my own mars in the fourth. He basically stole the one good thing in my life (my family).

The other day, I was afraid you were referring to me, when you were saying “I will not get into an argument” because of something I’d posted in another thread. This guy had Venus in Aries, too - square my Saturn, trine my MC, sextile my IC. trine my neptune, too. But he was indirectly aggressive. I could be really understanding, but I also knew how to set boundaries much better then, and that was because I had my family. I had my safety. I knew what was healthy, and what wasn’t.

My dad was amazing. My mother went back-and-forth, and was also drinking heavily. She was either really good to me, or the total opposite. The progressed sun was conjunct my moon, Venus and south node - you would have thought this would have been a great time, but it wasn’t. The south node could indicate a replication of something my mother and aunts had to put up with from one uncle (sexual harassment), or other guys, and I was just expected to deal, as they had. I wasn’t going to, so I was trouble.

I second that. Venus contacts are hardly ever fun. Or at least they are not as enjoyable as I expect them to be😐.

There is stuff happening at home that I can't talk about right now.But when over, it will be easier.

Pluto in Cap is arcing to square my natal Pluto. Its feels like a storm is brewing 🙆🏿‍♂️
