Hello,

Some thoughts on ways of making money. Of these three ways of making money, which one do you prefer and what type of astrological chart position is best for this way of making money:

A. There are some people who make money by owning a business, which no doubt involves talent and skill, but is also dependent on the labor of people they employ. There is also the aspect of the value of the business going up, in some cases, and being acquired.

B. There are some people who make money by making investments, which does involve skill to some degree, but is also dependent on how well the investment does.

C. There are some people who are make money purely by being paid money to perform work. I.E Salary or fee.

Let us take Shark Tank: There are the Angel Investors such as Mark Cuban who put up money into other people's companies, the entrepreneurs who start the company and the employees and professionals who work for the angel investors and entrepreneurs.

Or in the case of real estate flipping. Some people invest in properties. Some take on as entrepreneurs, the task of buying property, and others work for set fees or wages for the real estate investors.

For instance, which method of making money, would you prefer for instance: Being an angel investor who invests capital into new companies and profits based on how the company does or a professional earning a fee performing work for an angel investor?

I guess, my astrology questions are:

1. What are the different chart positions for making money via a business where you employ others, conventional employment, and speculative investing?

2. For those who find themselves better at one compared to the others, what astrological positions do you have?

Would be interested in anyone's thoughts.

Thanks

Interesting premisses.

A. There are some people who make money by owning a business, which no doubt involves talent and skill, but is also dependent on the labor of people they employ. There is also the aspect of the value of the business going up, in some cases, and being acquired. I SEE SATURN &PLUTO, 1st house, 2nd house, 10th house, 11th house and their rulers.

B. There are some people who make money by making investments, which does involve skill to some degree, but is also dependent on how well the investment does. I see Jupiter, Uranus, 8th house, 2nd house, 5th house and their rulers

C. There are some people who are make money purely by being paid money to perform work. I.E Salary or fee. I SEE SATURN, 2nd house, 6th house and their rulers

In what way, would these various house rulers work together to make someone suitable for these specific ways of making money? How would having the Nodes involved affect this matter? I.E NN11 SN5, NN2, SN8, NN8, SN2

etc.

Thanks

1) To be a successful business owner and lord over employees, one's Saturn has to be pretty strong. I have also seen it with Pluto people because power is important to them.

2) When these planets are located in the 1st house, these people can embody the strength of these planets better.

When these planets are located in the 2nd house, it's the house of personal money, though Saturn there will make the person work very hard for their money.

The 10th house and 11th house have to do with career and influence. Successful business people like to be seen as leaders of their community, captains of industry etc.

3) The ruler of the 2nd and 8th houses and their strengths in houses, signs and aspects position must be also examined to see how they support the making of money in this particular manner.

4) and yes, the NN is important also, and I would favor a NN in 2ndh or 8th house.

You know, the above is just theoretical.

Back when I used to be deep into astrology, I would have examined the charts of 20 to 50 successful people to see how they confirm or disprove my theory, then adjust my thinking accordingly.

I don't have that kind of focus anymore. But there are astrology books out there who might touch on those subjects...

Thanks the reply. In what way would having NN in 2nd vs. 8 differ for making money? For the record, I have NN11 in Virgo and SN5 Pisces. How would that affect me and money?

Thanks

traditionally 2nd house is your money. 8th house is other people's money...11th house is the house of friends and community at large.

If you familiarize yourself with the meaning of each house, you will be able to get the answers you seek.

I think that this is a tricky question because "business" and "success" are such broad terms in our times.

Business in general is governed by Saturn as stated before, Capricorn too specially if you're dealing with something conventional, and also by the 10H and its ruler. Jupiter and Neptune are also connected to business that goes into mass scale, corporate level because of the expansive, globalizing nature of those planets.

The concept of a successful business is also relative because for many people, success is tied to different ideas: for some, it can be linked to high financial return, while for others it can be linked to solid reputation, for example.

Even though the 2H is the primary house that governs the money, conventional investments, savings of the nativity, the 8H (2nd house from the 7H) also rules money that arises from one-on-one partnerships and the 11H (2nd house from the 10H) rules money that arises from public visibility (such as from a business or a career). Money that you make through employees (6H) is also seen from the 7H (7H is the 2nd house, aka, money from the 6H). The 5th is not a typical money house but since it rules risk-taking, it connects to gambling and any kind of endeavours of high-risk, including financial.

Still any house in the chart can become a source of money if we consider that every house is the 2nd from another. This is why many astrologers that work with financial advice, typically identify the strongest planets and houses they rule in the chart and use the Derivative Houses technique that I used above to see how money can be properly made through them.

It's important that you also look at Oriental planets in your chart (planets that rise before the Sun) because they reveal natural vocational skills together with the Midheaven and its ruler, and see if they match the niche market that your business belongs to.

Belage you did pretty well there!

I am working on being self employed, and have been a business owner for five years now. I still work for a company for my main income, but my plan is for that to come to an end soon.

Pluto is my chart ruler. Pluto is in my 11th house.
Saturn is also strong in my chart, and my 2nd house is ruled by Capricorn. Saturn resides in the 9th house, but 7 degrees away from the MC.
Mars, my coruler, trines my Moon which resides in the 2nd house of Cap... so it gives me drive.

I am in my 40s, I work very hard, always have, always will. I do have Jupiter in 8th, but I have not made investments in the traditional sense. I should add that my Jupiter sextile my Mars, therefore Jupiter is opposite Moon... these three planets are all tied in together.
