What do you make of someone who has multiple skipped steps to the nodes?I met someone years ago who turned out to be a controlling, manipulative, deceitful man. He was very charismatic, very attractive to many people, and seemed to have a following so to speak. The life of the party, the host of the party, the charmer. I was looking again at his chart to see where this came from. I noticed he has the big generational planets square his nodes0 Uranus, Pluto, and Saturn. Nodes Sag/Gem 14 Pluto and Uranus Virgo 13 and 11 Saturn Pisces 13 Nothing at Gem/Sag other than the nodes. I don't know his TOB, and for years have wondered what it could be. However, if the theory of skipped steps illustrates things we need to correct from past lives, what would these big three indicate... I feel like they point to his instability and insecurity. He def had a drinking problem. Neptune is not overly active in his chart, only a trine to Chiron. He was mean, and verbally and emotionally abusive as time went on. Very smart, but narcissistic. Which makes me wonder if he had ASC on his Saturn in Pisces... which is what I lean towards... IP: Logged |

These aspects are generational. Several months worths of birthdays from this year would have these aspects. I would look for something more personal planet related for traits that specific, but the birth time would probably give you the biggest clues.IP: Logged |

It could feed into the problem, if that’s what you mean. These are planets that deal with some of our deeper insecurities after all. I just think the apparent personality disorder you describe would be more personal.IP: Logged |

No skipped steps are definitely relevant to generational planets. I just don’t think it would manifest as specific traits like narcissism, deceptiveness, fake charm, etc for the whole generation. It could be a subconscious/karmic stressor that feeds into these problems, but seeing it coming out that way in the personality would come from something more personal IMO.IP: Logged |

Gotcha. Thinking back about him, I felt the Pluto opposite Saturn in his nature. It was like a struggle between control of self and control of others. He was cold and harsh deep down, but was able to portray a different side outwardly. It made me feel like those planets meant something as a skipped step, as something he abused in multiple past lives and was being called to reconcile them once again.... except it seems like he was abusing them again instead.IP: Logged |

But you can see his Mars was involved in that Saturn/Pluto/Uranus... so maybe that's what I felt. It was on my Venus and Mc, so it makes sense I would have felt that pretty strongly. Which, saying that, is weird bcs I usually don't feel much on my Venus. My Venus is something I feel within myself, but I don't usually respond to much when it's hit in synastry if that makes sense.
