It’s difficult to give a detailed interpretation from the information you posted, but I would look at Venus because it is symbolic for our relationships and our relating style. Aspects impact the way we express the energy of our planets the most. From what I can see, your husband’s Venus is in aspect to Pluto (power and control) and Mars (passion and masculinity). His relating style is impacted by the energy of both these planets. I would suspect that the square to Mars will show up because it is an aspect of friction. Trines are an easy expression but squares are most definitely part of someone’s personality even if the expression is difficult. It can lead to overreacting and could be even more visible than a trine. The tighter the orb the more prominent in someone’s personality.

It would be a good idea to look at the houses of these planets next and what houses these planets rule. It would also be helpful if you look at his 7th house and it’s ruler.

The actual sign does play a role but is less important than aspects and houses. The modality also gives some information. Fixed signs are very “fixed” in their expression and with a square involved this will give a lot of tension.
