Virgo is also ruled by the moon on an esoteric level and her constellation is about the divine mother

A mother is kind , caring , nurturing, will make sure her kids are clean , healthy, intelligent, protected , well mannered , a mother is a great planner , sublime cook , can smother her kids , is helpful, organized and hardworking

Both Cancer & Virgo possess these traits so that’s why I want to know ☺️

Cancer is the mom that all children love.
Not only materially, but spiritually.
The water signs are the only ones capable of seeing the soul of living beings.

Not really stepmother cos of how critical but more like a disciplinarian cos cancer is equally aggressive and smothering but not the type of mom to go through all her kids school work , check if they’ve taken a shower like Virgo will do , The cancer mom will let her sick child have ice cream even if it’s not healthy but a Virgo mom will feed her child according to what the doctor has asked to make sure the child is healthy again , hope you understand?

The cancer mom only does what her kids want
The Virgo mom does what’s best for her kids which is why they could come off as the mom friend who gives unsolicited advice sometimes
