Can we talk about Neptune in Capricorn, and Jupiter in Capricorn? Which both planets are in their weak fall state. And why I say weak, because right here it say it: https://astrostyle.com/the-essential-dignities-of-planets-exalted-detriment-domi cile-and-fall/ [ As the exaltation is a place of awareness for the planet, the fall is a position of weakness concerning the function of the planet, including everything else the planet represents. ] So what the pros and cons of have Neptune and Jupiter BOTH in the sign of Capricorn which they at their weakness of their planet function/represent? My husband have BOTH in fall, Neptune in Capricorn, and Jupiter in Capricorn. Rule by the sadist and structure Saturn. I found this (it talk about the traits of Neptune in Capricorn men and women): https://www.astromajesty.com/neptune-in-capricorn/ Well good thing is Capricorn knock out that dreamy state of Neptune, and the laid back 'hand it to me' state of Jupiter. And put that person to practical, realistic and hard work, it all about goals and hard work with Capricorn. And they can be cold and ruthless in achieve their goals too, rule by Saturn (Capricorn). But the planets (Jupiter and Neptune) are both in FALL, there are cons side to it. So what the pros and cons of it? TIA! IP: Logged |

Some things I noticed. The Berlin Wall came down when Neptune was in Capricorn. Tiananmen Square protests and massacre in China was also when Neptune in Capricorn. Nothing dreamy about Neptune in this Saturn as it ruler sign here. They too authority and structure. Mao Zedong was a Capricorn Sun, Capricorn Ascendant, Aquarius Venus, Scorpio Mars man, and look how many people he killed. Scary. Oprah and Mao Zedong share the same Venus and Mars sign, Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I have them both in my 8th house. Neptune does very well in capricorn actually, especially if your Neptune is making aspects to a personal planet. Neptune is the planet of illusions, deceptions, and all that we can't see but that is the ego side of Neptune. In the more grounded signs like Cap, Neptune can anchor itself in the chart holder so that they can become more familiar with the higher planes of Neptune's energies. More of the universal love (Neptune is higher vibration of venus) and becoming aware of soul/spirit and integrating that into the ego. Jupiter I may agree has a harder time expressing itself in capricorn but I think the same concept applies. Jupiter is the great benefic, in capricorn the chart holder has the ability to not just think grandiose thoughts, but actually manifest them into reality (Earth). IP: Logged |

My husband have Capricorn Jupiter and Neptune Capricorn in his 6th house, the house of work. The Capricorn pushed him work even harder. Someone use traditional astrology did a reading for his chart and they said this: [ A planet in its fall doesnīt work as "comfortably", or as it wants, like when itīs in a domicile or exalted position. Neptune is a water, feeling, spiritual, fantasy planet, it doesnīt like boundaries and aims to remove them. While Jupiter is a intuitive planet. It wants to explore, have faith, be optimistic, and expand itself into new areas. Both being in Capricorn, means they are ruled by Saturn. Saturn is the OPPOSITE to what they represent. It wants structure, boundaries, stability, success, maturity, melancholic, and serious. So, whatever Neptune and Jupiter want to do is focused on what Saturn wants and not what they usually do. In your husbandīs chart, they are also in an earth house, the 6th house of work , humility, and service to others. Then his Jupiter and Neptune (both in Capricorn) are not only more serious, they also pour their energies in work areas too. The downside of this is too much seriousness, and little time to enjoy oneself. Add to that Scorpio Saturn is in the 5th house, then the relaxation tendencies of the Pisces Sun arenīt as visible in him as in other people with that Sun. Itīs good for work, but time to relax is also needed for health, and to connect with the more spiritual, and exploring tendencies of Sun Pisces in the 9th house, whatever that may be for him. ] IP: Logged |

I also have Neptune in Capricorn 14 degrees house 8. I also have Uranus in Capricorn 9 degrees in house 8. So the Uranus gives my Neptune a flair. I feel like when I was younger Neptune made me over idealize career, and wanting to tunnel vision on it. I have experienced that mentality biting me in the arse. I've experienced being so obsessed with career. Where it was the only goal I cared about to being like eff a job for some time (early adulthood). I also have Saturn in Capricorn house 9 so I of course came around. Went to college made a career but knew it was okay to not feel like it needs to be my whole life and work hard to enjoy other aspects of my life. I've been a teacher for 4 years (and an assistant teacher 7 years prior) and now I am going to try not working and just being a housewife. I do not plan on just being a housewife forever...because Pluto will transit my 10th house in my 40's I believe. So traveling the country for husbands job will run it's course after a long period of time. Spirituality....I was raised Catholic/Christian. But I think Saturn in the 9th house has made me be willing to challenge my faith. I do not consider myself Christian. But ironically I have always worked in private (catholic, Islamic, and Christian) schools. So maybe having Neptune in Capricorn has made me mildly deceptive for career in that sense. I really vibe with astrology. By the time I was 17 I was done praying to God when I wanted something. I felt like praying didn't give me answers the way astrology does. I also really love Law of Attraction as a spiritual outlet. I see this making so much sense with Neptune in Capricorn since Capricorn is known for being goal oriented. Plus having the 8th house I like to dabble in the occult. But with Chiron challenging my occult side especially with earthly matters like rocks, flowers, essential oils...I kind of had a eureka moment today of maybe I should give back more to people more. There are people who I know who struggle so much financially who have been an amazing emotional support to me in trying times. I kind of want to give back to them with financial support. Not sure but maybe this will be more powerful to bless my life than witchy stuff. These people I know who struggle would never ask for a hand out either, and that makes me want to do it even more. I do not want them to return the favor their kindness is enough for me. I do not like when people are entitled or pan handling. 9th house is also charitable I believe. I wonder is this is another place that I peek after my 30's. Some people I know who have the 88-90 Uranus, Neptune, Saturn Cappy (91 too I'm not sure) have an interesting outlook on life. One guy I was with an 89 Scorpio said he respects people who do not know what they want to be when they grow up. A 1990 Leo at a music festival said "why do we have to ask our job for permission to live our life?" My husband who has Neptune Uranus and Lilith Capricorn is on the same page as me. "A job is not everything, it's necessary, and hopefully it's something you can do that you at least tolerate." I also came to the conclusion that if you can afford to not work fulltime, then why should you? Why should I give a place so much of my time when I could be doing anything else? To impress other people!? Cause I need to keep up appearances that I am a hard worker? Another conversation I've had with my husband is people who do not use all of their PTO are suckers! Like when they die and go to heaven is their God going to give them a gold star for being such a hard worker!? I thought I had to be a full time worker when I moved in with now husband. But when I went for more college I did cut my hours but was making more an hour, I had no issues paying my share of rent. I like working in preschools, but why does it have to be most of my life? If I go back into the field I would seriously consider part time as long as I still have the upper hand. And there really is something beautiful of being well off and privileged enough to have the mentality of "I don't need this job." Especially in a high turnover field like mine not needing the job, you are less likely to be exploited and pushed around by people. It's great. But I work with a lot of "bored housewives" who don't need the job...and they can take it to a whole new level that can be aggravating, and we just have to deal with it, because people are not lining up to take their jobs. Ohhh and what really grinds my gears is how dehumanized teachers can be. There is such an expectation sometimes from others to be so passionate about your job 24/7. *EYE ROLL* Like when I tell people what I do and I am not just gushing about my job I get questioned if I like teaching. *EYE ROLLROLLROLL!* Like if someone said they worked at CVS and they were not gushing over it no one would question if they loved their job. If I ever complain or vent people think they are being helpful by telling me that my heart is not in it, who know nothing about teaching and hint or suggest I find a new career, and judge me. Like how come other people can complain and have a bad day at their job, but preschool teachers can't? *EYE ROLLIN-ROLLIN-ROLLIN!* It is a job, it's challenging it's rewarding. Sometimes it's a management issue I'm complaining about and not the kids. I would assume that Jupiter Capricorn is odd. Like lucky through working hard. Which may not seem lucky for some. I have Jupiter in the opposite sign Cancer house 2. I love having an exalted Jupiter here. IP: Logged |

Thank you sis Moderator Stawr for share your story and experience, it was a powerful read, I learn so much!I just couldn't get my husband to be like your husband or you, to relax and enjoy the beauty of life. He has Scorpio Saturn and Scorpio Mars both in his 5th house. He just very determine and serious in everything he does, no party, it all hard work. His Saturn in 5th will not let him stop work and enjoy his life, that just the nature of the sadist Saturn. Added on to his Jupiter in Capricorn and Neptune in Capricorn, it just make him work even harder. His Sun however in 9th house, I'm gonna get him to go to China with me when he retired, and I told him he needs to retire early and go with me to China, lol. IP: Logged |

Aww thanks!Yes that makes a lot of sense with his Mars conjunct Saturn. My husband has Mars in the 12th house. Sometimes I think it makes him lazy! I have called him out many times. He has adjusted. Capricorn is very active in my chart. I also have Mars and Venus in the 10th house. I have to tell him that feminism is not women do everything. Just because he works does not mean he should be sitting on the couch scratching his arse for hours on end. I work too. Why am I the only one cleaning!? I work all day too! The show Dexter nailed it with what it's like to be a Bridezilla who wanted to control everything, gets too overwhelmed and then gets aggressive when asking fiancé to be more involved with wedding planning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0-1OIB2Juk I hope he does retire early, it sounds very well deserved!
