This house systems calculator lets you compare your birth chart planets in different house systems. https://astrolibrary.org/compare-house-systems/ Can you try it, and tell me which houses system you identify more with it? Does your planets shift in the houses under different system? Which system you find it more accurate in your case (more apply to you your life in your case)? Some popular ones are Placidus, Equal, Koch and Whole Sign. But this calculator show up to 12 difference houses system. Maybe houses sysetm that I never heard of before like Vehlow, Alcabitius, Campanus, Meridian, Morinus, Regionontanus, etc.. So give the calculator a try on yours, see what it say. Isn't Placidus the best bet out of there? Or Whole Sign or Equal House better? IP: Logged |

question. I know about Placidus and Whole sign. But if your planet is that close to the next house (for sure Whole sign will shift it), but I still find Placidus more accurate. My husband has a falling state Jupiter in Capricorn, Placidus it in his 6th house, but it right at the mark of 2 degree from his 7th house. Whole sign for sure shift his Jupiter straight to 7th house. His 7th house cusp is on the sign of Capricorn (Saturn rule), I not want his Capricorn Jupiter to land in his 7th too, lol. His Saturn already depress in a Mars sign, it will just make his marriage house even more gloomy. But when the planet is 2 degree from the next house, which house system be better to chose? Placidus or Whole sign?

Koch and equal move my moon/Venus/SN to the 7th. Jupiter to the 6th. Pluto to the 12th. Mars to the 5th. Or conjunct the cusp of the 5th. IP: Logged |

Sis teasel, which houses you identify more with? I just can't figure out my husband Capricorn Jupiter, it 2 degrees from his 7th house. All other house systems shift it straight to 7th, beside Placidus put it at 6th. IP: Logged |

Whole sign puts my moon in the 5th house and that does not at all fit with me. Nothing about a 5th house moon relates to me. Placidus fits me the best. IP: Logged |

If it's close to the cusp it will manifest as both 6th and 7th. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in the 6th 2 degrees from my DSC as well and the same thing happens to my chart. Everything in my chart does except a 29 degree Saturn, my ASC is at 27 degrees. I don’t use whole sign at all and I had really tried to sell myself on it using other charts as well. Considering how widely used it is by some solid astrologers, I’m still open minded. IP: Logged |

Whole sign seems to be the isht for me. I consider the retrograde motions of Sat/Jup/Mars/Uranus(especially).I picked this up that whenever these planets start on the 0 degree sign of cardinal signs Aries/Cap/Lib/Can, they are followed by an event. Especially when there is retrograde motion in rhe first 10 degrees of that cardinal sign. I look to Uranus. So far Jupiter's ingress to Aries has had nothing earth-shattering happen. But the retrograde motion starting in Oct to Dec will likely be eventful. And the influence will continue next year 2023. I tell people to not go with subjective opinions- as those are prone to influence and can change (based off of up/down feelings and bias opinions we have of certain houses we deem "undesirable" and therefore cannot see our planets being placed in). Verify your birthchart using transits. These are more objective and are not open to influence. I don't identify with Mars in 7th. I dont see myself as Martial in relationships at all. But the 2020 transits of retro Mars in House 1 from Aug to Dec were intense. I felt that.🙆🏿♂️ IP: Logged |

I’d say some big events have taken place since the ingress. Crypto token LUNA crashed, as the result of an intentional attack, from $1 to less than a penny, 8 suicides, and counting, as a result and billions lost. 2 mass shootings in the US this past weekend just before the eclipse. Peace-talks were stalled between Russia and Ukraine, followed by the bloodiest battle fought so far coming to a conclusion. IP: Logged |

@jemerson I meant within the context of my life. And not the world at large. Jupiter's ingress to Aries was very quiet. IP: Logged |

I signed a contract prior to the day Jupiter went into Aries and the first day at work was on monday. Aries is the sign on the 9th house using whole sign system. I started working in a corporation dealing with international shipment of products, so... pretty straight forward. BUT, Jupiter is pretty significant for me. Using traditional astrology, I'm in a profected year of the 8th house. I have Pisces in the eight house, so Jupiter is the lord of the year. Sincer Jupiter is in my first house natally and it's conjunct the ASC, every profected year goes along with Jupiter transits. Since this transit is more significant because it's ruled by Jupiter, then Jupiter is really doing something in my life this year and it's going to go back and forth on my Sun in Pisces at 29 degrees. +1 Would add though, while this is true for all House cusps, with the Angles, because they are so sensitive and important, the closer the conjunction, the more and more it acts like an Angular Planet and like it is in actually the next House. This is most apparent with a Planet conjunct the Asc from the 12th side. There is no singular condition more amplifying/highlighting for a Planet than it to be conjunct the Asc. It is like the individual in question is a personification of the archetype/energy/consciousness of that Planet. In a way, they kind of are, until freewill can change it, because what this often means on a deeper level is that the Soul came into this physical dimension, from the nonphysical dimension that the Planet symbolizes and correlates to. Or in other words, that was their main, primary state of consciousness before coming into the 3rd dimension i.e. the physical--the level of "mixing and blending". IP: Logged |

When our physical body dies and we leave same to phase into the nonphysical state again, we "go" (actually vibrate) to that dimension which we most deeply resonate at a core level. While we can grow, move, and change some while in the nonphysical, it tends to be a slow process. Hence the reason for physical incarnations. This level is a catalyst level. It is the uncomfortable friction that causes transformative Fire (through pain, suffering, consequence), which potentially lights a fire under our Soul arse. But it is a bit of a gamble too, because there are times when it backfires and we get further stuck. Hi there Chryssa.

I want this to be true so badly. I don't see it happening yet for me, though. I have natal Mars @ 23'34" Cancer w/ Asc. @ 24'24", so just under 1° conj. from the 12th house side. I want it to act more like a first house Mars, but it's very much a 12th house Mars. I hate confrontation and avoid it whenever possible. I repress my emotions too much, and I have to make a conscious effort to find healthy outlets for them so they don't erupt at the wrong time. I also often repress my sexuality, even though I have a ravenous and insatiable sexual appetite. Sometimes I feel like a cliche of some character who'd be a librarian-by-day/Nympho-by-night. Those are all 12th house Mars things that annoy the hell out of me about myself. I envy people who have their Mars on the first house side of their Asc. They come across to me as so much more direct, open, and free in their self expression. I don't think they repress anything! Ironically, I have an Aries Midheaven, so I strive to reach that energy. That's in Placidus, which is my go-to house system. I've never been able to buy into Whole Signs because of the fact it puts my 12th house Sun-Venus-Mercury-Mars stellium into my 1st house, and I'm very much a 12th house person. I'd love for Whole Signs to be more accurate so that I'd be a 1st house stellium person, but it's just not the case for me. IP: Logged |

I stick with Placidus for this reason. I, too, have Jupiter in Capricorn in the 6th house, and with Whole Signs it shifts it to the 7th. I'm not a Jupiter in 7th person. I relate very much to Jupiter in 6th. IP: Logged |
