it's not an aspect of divorce, but an aspect of selfishness in relationships, of difficulties, needing some kind of friction or dissagrements to feel attracted to someone. it shows as an aggressive way to connect, but failing to understand the other person. Think about Aries Venus, they connect through aggressiveness. It's not the same, but has some qualities to it because the person doesn't know how to show romance and pursuit and he/she will kind of fail at asking out, having dissagrements, etc. Oprah had difficulties relating as a child, I remember she was abused or something. Any aspect between Venus and Mars show some kind of physical need in relationships, even with the sextile. It's not a sign of divorce. Jupiter is the ruler of marriage. well, those aspects kind of mitigate the square from mars to venus. And the square is in mutuable signs, so this is kind of easier. IP: Logged |

Like physical touch, sex, not abuse, but it could include that depending on other factors because mars is an aggressive planet. It could be disagrements, aggressiveness, a volatile way of relating. IP: Logged |

Depends on the whole chart and I haven't used midpoints by now and I wouldn't consider midpoints over major aspects or placements in the natal chart as mitigating factors. IP: Logged |

isn't the sun also square to moon? I honestly can't say anything because I can't see the chart as a whole and could be other things that are happening there. Mars in scorpio is an excellent placement. I love Mars in Scorpio. I wouldn't consider it a dark side, it's dignified there. What I've seen at my ex bfs with this placement is that they like to start fights with me so we can make peace after. Like they don't let anything to get away, they go for it no matter what it is. There were other things in their natals and in synastry and it will be different for your husband because it's conjunct Saturn, but on its own, mars in scorpio is very strong, manly, and successful placement for mars, especially in a man's chart.
