Please do not quote. Worked with children (and to a lesser extent adults) with special needs/differently abled for many years (including things like autism, CP, intellectually delayed/disability, deaf and more so blind, etc). I found it very rewarding, but as I didn't have a degree and wasn't a teacher, but either an aide in a school setting or an in home aide, the pay was quite low and debt started to wrack up over time. With a combination of that, and general burn out, I decided to switch directions.
I have Sag Neptune in the 5th very closely (minus 1 degree) sextile 7th House Aqua Venus--ruler of my MC, and widely square Virgo Saturn--ruler of my Sun, 6th House, and Mercury and faster moving ruler (i.e. co-ruler) of my Desc and Venus.
The Moon, ruler of my 12th, is in Libra and widely conjunct Virgo Saturn, again direct ruler of Sun, Mercury, & 6th and co-ruler of Desc and Venus.
The ruler of my 5th, Jupiter in Virgo, is in my 1st (retrograding back into same) but cusping into my 2nd and trine Mercury the ruler of 4 Virgo placements (including Saturn ruler of Sun, 6th, etc) and 2nd and 11th Houses with less than a degree separation, conjunct Mars ruler of 9th and co-ruler of IC, and that conjunction is also trine Sun--chart ruler.
At times I miss the work. I liked working with children because they tended to have more open, direct, and honest hearts. Children, especially young children have always gravitated towards me--they sense that I don't just see them as children i.e. little, underdeveloped human bodies, but also as Souls with their own rich Soul history and background and varied potential.
And in turn, they tend to recognize me at a deeper level than do adults. For example, while I didn't work directly with him because he wasn't special needs, there was one 3rd grader in a class that I worked in, who was very bright, very aware, with a positive, older soul vibe, and in all seriousness he asked me one time, "are you magic?" And then he followed up with, "Do you think that magic exists?"
That was a tough one to answer. I told him that this was something he should figure out for himself, but in my own view/for myself, I did think a kind of magic existed but not like in the movies, and that if a person became very loving like Jesus then they would be more likely to be able to do a kind of magic.
