It's just one placement and doesn't say a whole lot about a person or a chart, in and of itself.

It can also REALLY vary in its manifestations depending on what else is going on in the chart.

But, getting back to basics, what does Venus represent/symbolize? Our relating and interpersonal love nature, our self worth/values, what we are attracted to and what we find pleasure and beauty and harmonious resonance with, in a straight male's chart it shows the qualities in a woman that he finds attractive, in a straight woman's chart it shows what she will tend to give to a partner (I don't know how it works in charts of folks that are gay--I have a lack of data in that area). Venus also relates to Yin and attracting energy--especially materially but also some emotionally and energetically. Hence, to some extent it deals with things like money.

Relates a lot to art and music--all expressions, but probably most especially voice.

What does the 5th represent? Well, we know there is some overlap with Venus in some areas, as the 5th relates to what we find pleasurable and beautiful. Also relates to romance, which is a bit like Venus, but with some Mars and sexual/lust like energy also added.

Connects to children, both literal children and creative children-i.e. our creative projects. Relates to games, gambling.

More basically, it relates to self expression.

Mix the two together and what do you get? Many possible expressions. But lets focus on what they have in common, because that will most often be the primary expression since it involves repeating patterns.

Someone with Venus in the 5th is inclined to be in love with love. Quite often, they are highly artistic and creative themselves, but if not, they are very sensitive to and appreciative of creative, artistic expressions from others and in nature itself.

These are the kinds of folks that can hear a song, or see a certain painting, and become really emotionally affected.

Relations with children are likely to pleasant and harmonious if there aren't a ton of stressful/challenging aspects.

Often quite attracted to strongly Venusian types, and tend to end up in romances with these types.

But really, the whole chart needs to be considered to see how it will specifically manifest.

I do think that in general, Venus tends to be fairly comfortable and express well in the 5th. Besides everything that we mentioned, I happen to agree with Arroyo in that the 5th House may be the most amplifying area for Planets next to the Angles. After all, it has a loose/indirect, archetypal association with the Sun. And indeed, our self expression and very beingness often go hand in hand to some extent (unless we are just projecting masks and personas).

Particularly when a Planet is in the 5th and in major aspect to the Asc, it may be/become fairly highlighted in the chart, especially in a self expressive way. So a person with Venus in the 5th and say trine the Asc, may "come off" as very Venusian--perhaps almost as much as someone with Venus in the 1st or who has Venus conjunct their chart ruler, who is indeed VERY attuned to Venus.

However, the person with Venus in the 5th may not be as actually Venusian deep down, in a core way though. It's more like they are in a process of becoming more Venusian through Venusian expression, if that makes any sense?

What do you think about a Pisces Sun/Aqua Moon with Aries Venus in The 5th House, if the 5th House cusp is Aries, and the 5th House ruler is Aries Mars (4th House)?

Ultimately, still a lack of info, since I don't have a whole chart. But here is the thing. I assume you know this person personally? I assume you know their whole chart and have seen it already?

Then you are already at a double advantage of interpreting this over me, who 1. has never met this person and is likely not to. and 2. hasn't already pondered their full chart.

In other words, I think you're better equipped to answer this question than me, all things considered. So, I'm curious, what do you think it means for this person's chart?

And I will play off that answer, and perhaps give you some pointers or the like, if you missed anything or perhaps missed the mark in general some. The thing is, I much prefer to teach people to fish, rather than just handing out fish.

In Hellenistic Astrology,Venus finds its joy in the 5th. So my guess is that this placement is good here. This especially when in Pisces(exalted).

The individual can be a consummate romantic who enjoys the full blown dating life and other Venus related pursuits.
