Both are.Aq/Cap tend to be the 'suffer in silence' people though. And be the types who don't want to "inconvenience" people with their emotions.The borders and boundaries they draw for others also hold THEM apart from people ☝🏿 And because of these walls held up and them acting so "mature" and "together " all the time, people think that they are coping well. Its not "maturity" at all ime. As Saturn tends to slow down feeling feelings and expression of emotions, that when the inner stuff does surface. It has a way of looking like one thing. When it was actually as a result of a suppressed something else. In other words,anxiety,depression, panic attacks, insomnia, nervous breakdowns etc. would be because the body has held so much in and not de-stressed, that it starts to expel emotional waste in extreme ways. I have a friend with Cap Asc/Sun in Aqua. And he suffers from anxiety and other mentally related illnesses. I told him that he holds a lot in him. Stuff that he brushes aside as " no big deal". But then it turns out to catch up with him later on. Therapy is usually a good idea for Aqua & Cap. The uphill battle is convincing them that they could benefit from it. As Saturn (Lord of time) will convince them that its a "waste of time".🤷🏿♂️ IP: Logged |

Thanks Aries23DegreesAquarius and Capricorn are very active in my chart. I act like I'm fine when I'm freaking out. I chalk it up to my culture. I was joking with my sister that my boss acts like such a freak when she is freaking out, and how I think it's so weird that she can't act like everything is fine when she is freaking out. I think the Aries/Gemini/Cancer/Pisces in my chart can help me slip up though and have emotion sometimes. And then the Scorpio that tries to be AquaCappy until it explodes with volcanic passion. I see walls and much boundaries. But I don’t see a person with these placements as somebody who doesn’t want to inconvenient me with his emotions. It’s more passive- aggressive, cold type emotions, but I usually get to find out that something is not ok with him whether I want it or not…
He might don’t want to inconvenient with his positive emotions…
Also, all that Saturn feel like bunch of restrictions and depressing. I wanted to see him as mature emotional support for some reasons, but instead he turned out to be more discouraging.

Capricorn for sure. Capricorn people are emotional even if they are uncomfortable with emotions and prefer to hide these emotions.
They usually like to keep a front in public but have deep emotions.
About Aquarius - especially Aquarius moons - I'm not so sure. While they are friendly, they are emotionally much more distant and not naturally in tune with them. Aquarius moons in particular often do not know how to express emotions and then look to their circle of friends to see how they behave. You can either find a friend for life with Aquarians or meet a stone cold psychopath.

I have a cap stellium with an aqua moon, and my sister has a cap stellium with an aqua sun. As Aries23Degrees stated, therapy is a good idea for us types but mental health doesnt exist for Chinese people lol. Anyway imo Cap suns are more emotional than Aqua suns. IP: Logged |

I am a Cap Moon, my sister an Aqua Sun. We both are pretty stoic. We both feel deeply (She's a Scorpio Moon, Cancer Rising; I'm Cancer Sun, Scorpio Rising). But we don't show it and when people don't know us they assume we are snobby and b*tchy. We're not, but we can come off that way.We both are just very very private. And both of us can detach emotionally when we need to- we can be very practical and pragmatic, but that just means we probably wait until we are alone to fall apart and feel our emotions. I have sought out therapy my whole life, she does not. We were not raised to think therapy was a good thing though.

My sister was very private, and quietly emotional, but she was also the type to shame people for being openly emotional. In arguments, I cry. It’s stressful. She would mock me. I was protective of this girl, and stood up for her, when others thought there was something wrong with her, for any reason. Oh, she’s a cap with a 12th house moon in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius.

Agree, except for the last sentence. Gemini is the 1st and most sensitive air sign. The further you get to the last zodiac signs, the greater the extremes become!
I want to break a lance for Virgos. Virgo is a mutuable earth sign and after being raised by a Virgo grandpa and I can tell you that they are thinkers but highly, highly sensitive. They can have a tendency to be pessimistic, often fear illness, are perfectionists who really judge themselves the hardest. IP: Logged |

I'm an Aquarius with a Capricorn mercury, from my experience Capricorn are more sensitive. But Aquarius is just as capable of feeling, don't forget our sister sign is Leo, we just are masters of control. Aquarius's secondary ruler is Saturn, so we've been through a lot which can make us jaded if we haven't done enough shadow work. I personally think if Aquarius hasn't gone to Therapy and worked on themselves they can tend to be a bit cold hearted, whereas if they put in the work they show you that humanitarian side that puts others first and cares about their friends.

I guess it depends what one thinks emotions are, says me, a Capricorn Moon (conjunct Uranus), Aquarius Sun, raised by an Aquarius Moon mother, with many other friends. a feminine Cardinal sign vs masculine fixed sign, receptivity vs reactivity. Imo Aquarius Moons, when it comes to their emotional body, are often more irrational, considering that immaterial, object-relations “feels” like something they can’t say they know with certainty, not to mention, the issue with ownership and one’s authority. They often have overly-emotional-expressive people around them because it compensates (externalizes) for their own habitual nature…
Whereas, Capricorn Moons have subliminal, stable, nurturing types around for the same reason, though the issue in regards to respons-ibility and expectations (dismissive). The 7th House axis. Aquarius moons are more “needy” (emotional) than they could ever take care to admit. My mom says “feelings aren’t real” often. Oh yeah? I wonder, where do they go then? I enjoy being an Aquarius Sun around these folks, talking through their emotions and feelings, because they plainly don’t understand *themselves*, and so, neither would most people. An Aquarius (Moon) who says and acts like nothing is wrong [inside] is lying to everyone. The nature of the sign is to have grandiose opinions about the world at large (everyone), and there is an innenwelt supplementing that logic.
The Capricorn Moon people I’ve known, including myself, will drop people permanently without notice. Insist they’re right about doing so (strictness) for as long as necessary, while they process their own feelings. If and only if the Saturn is in a healthy state, might they be able to release 💩, let any grudge go. What I’ve read about a planet in this sign is general delay in comprehension.

Let’s challenge the original question in another way, since “emotional” has a connotation and considering development is the clearest, scientific marker for how personal emotions might function: both traditionally ruled by Saturn, who do you think is more mature, Capricorn or Aquarius?

I definitely think Capricorn moon is more mature in general. Though some can party way too hard to cope with having to grow up so fast. LOL your mom says feeling aren't real. My mom has Capricorn Moon behind her Leo Sun. So if I say something that isn't happy. I'll get something like "don't say that" One time I was listening to Poison's song Talk Dirty to Me and my mom reacted by saying "Stawr, you talk NICE to people" If someone is acting crazy though, my mom will usually use dry sarcasm when interacting with them. Or kill them with kindness. I have an uncle with Aquarius moon. I'm not his biggest fan. He is not very responsible. He likes to ask people weird questions. But if you ask him a non personal question he gets very uncomfortable and wants to leave. My niece is very outward with her feelings, and demanding. She has Aqua moon and sun I suspect that they conjunct, and it kind of makes her Cancer like. IP: Logged |

When my life was complete mess without any direction, I hung out with people with more Aqua. And I still felt more mature and reasonable compare to them lol. Capricorn is definitely more responsible, but feelings being on point and being materialistic is too cold and pragmatic.I still relate more to Aqua rebel weird spirit, but most of the time, you cannot count on them. They’re by themselves.
You can count on Capricorn more, but not emotionally. And all these obsessions with rules and authority is inability to trust your thinking and judgment. What could be good for people with bad judgment, but it might be very dogmatic.

Either sign can be immature. I’ve seen it, lived with it. It just depends on the situation. The cappy moons I know, have been in touch with their emotions. One wrote poetry and songs. She is outwardly calm, and kind, unless she needs to deal with something (like when people spread a rumour about her). She dealt with that directly. People always say that Gemini isn’t emotional. My
Moon and Venus are emotional, and cerebral - they aren’t one or the other. In the past, I didn’t want to bother people with anything related to me or my life, my emotions, my thoughts. I was very shy, unless something prompted me emotionally. When I was bullied as a kid, I didn’t tell anyone, didn’t try to fight back. That didn’t stop them. I finally said something, when I wanted to take my own life. I thought dropping out would be better. As an adult, I would have more of a reaction, but still try to remain calm. Not be nasty. Until I couldn’t anymore. I was done placating. I think it can be handy if you can pull back emotionally, it’s better for you. I say that as someone whose body will react with sleeplessness and panic attacks, even if I deal with something directly. Sometimes, you need to shut yourself off, to give your body, mind, and heart a break. IP: Logged |

I adore Capricorn moons. I've been close with quite a few. Aquarius moon guys, I can vibe with them. Usually a one sided attraction though. I have Aquarius Mars so they can lust after me, or at least express that they are attracted to me. IP: Logged |

Are you a Capricorn?
Virgo is actually the most emotional earth sign because it’s mutable which makes them wet also considering that they’re ruled by mercury and mercury is changeable just like the moon so virgos are either too logical or too emotional while Taurus is fixed which makes them emotionally stable, Capricorn is the most stoic and emotionless zodiac sign after Aquarius cos they’re ruled by Saturn IP: Logged |

Exactly I agree with you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, Capricorns are never emotional to me infact no earth sign is and even if they’re it’s Virgo that is more everything that has to do with softness/flexibility so whoever says Caps are more emotional than the mutable signs really lives in a fantasy world because they’re literally the sign of indifference IP: Logged | |
