This is not REALLY synastry, I think. Please don't move it  I'm wondering, let's say someone has a Cap Moon and the other person a Gemini moon? Yeah, not the greatest match for longevity perhaps but would Saturn conjunct the Gemini moon in that person's chart balance things out? Without going too much into details. IP: Logged |

It might help have the two see things or feel similar. I'm uncertain w/o seeing them in a synastry chart. Have you looked at the decans too? Those can enhance the energy to a more minute view. I find they are helpful. IP: Logged |

Gem Moon and Cap Moon can touch base in other ways. Say for instance the Cap moon concerned has Mercury conj Ic. Or the Gem Moon has Saturn conj Ic.Sometimes its not a strict A <> A or B <> type of setup that guarantees compatibility. At times there are complimentary placements that help compatibility along. My son has a virgo moon conjunct saturn, his dad has a capricorn moon and they are just alike emotionally. My son is just more sensitive about things but they both clam right up and oppress their feelings about eeeeeverrrrything. He isn't his biological father btw, he adopted him when he was 1 year old. I agree, to understand someone’s personality in the chart you don’t just look at the sign but aspects and patterns are even more telling. I have my Virgo Moon square Gemini Mercury and my mother has her Gemini Sun conjunct her Mercury. In synastry her Sun/Mercury are conjunct my Mercury but square my Moon. We have our issues but we can always talk about them and this helps a lot in our connection. Communication is very important to both of us and this is reflected in our natal aspects. So in my opinion, Gemini Moon conjunct Saturn and Capricorn Moon will have similarities that will help in connecting with each other. I think it will provide even more insight if you look at the house placements and the rulers to see if there are more similarities. If the Capricorn Moon is in 3rd house or Saturn is in Gemini or 3rd house this would help in the connection. IP: Logged |

I think the similarity comes from their trine moons too. Both have Earth moons

I don’t think Gem and Cap have much in common even with that Saturn on that Gemini moon. I think the Gem moon will still be very ‘’Gemini’’ but they will deal with their emotions in a Saturnian way. So they might still be very communicative, social and have a short attention span etc but when it’s time to deal with emotional matters that’s when the Saturn kicks in and even then i think they might bounce between Gemini’s style of doing things and the way Saturn would do it, but that Saturn i don’t think will outweight the sign the Moon is actually in. For example i have seen a few Sag moons with Neptune conjunct their moons and their still very much like a Sag but that Neptune just added a bigger heart to them. IP: Logged |

I am a cap Moon and daughter is a Gem Moon conjunct Saturn. We are alike in that we can both be stoic. But I definitely dive into my emotions, she represses. Even as a child if something upset her she would open a book and escape far, far away. Unfortunately, our Mercuries are square by sign so communication is challenging at times. But we have a Moon trine Venus, a Venus trine Mars, Sun square Venus.... and more, So it softens the harshness. We don't connect but we have a foundation of friendship that I think will get us through challenges. IP: Logged |
