So in my last therapy session with husband our therapist sees my relationship with my SIL as a huge problem in our marriage.

When my therapist asks my husband questions about his sister, he says I don't know a lot which is super frustrating for me.

Therapist asked husband if he has ever talked about it with his sister. Of course he hasn't. Though he claims they are close. (eyeroll) Also very frustrating for me, because I will call out a family member if I feel they are unfairly judging someone. I've stood up for my husband a few times with my mom.
Well therapist also suggested that he talks to his sister privately about it. And then we try to have a peer mediation with each other.

Obliviously the way things are going now aren't healthy. But that sounds AWFUL, like a disaster! In my experience with co-workers with these so called peace meetings...it usually makes things much worse and people feel in the middle of it and like they have to take a side.

And I have a lot of anger that I've put away that my husband claims to be close with his sister but has not confronted her about it ever. I've brought this up to him. He doesn't care. He just likes to act like everything is normal. Even though I defend him when I need to when he is in my shoes.

I was wondering if this was Uranus going back over my moon sign. But I noticed that Jupiter is retrograde. What does that have to do with family drama??? I have natal Jupiter in Cancer 4 degrees.

So expansion is squaring my expanded family.

So I guess the universe is giving me an opportunity to deal with it in a unpleasant way that I am not looking forward to at all.

Jupiter square Jupiter may suggest "over the top" or "abundance ". When in Cancer and the transit is in Aries, these two have a square relationship.

Moon rules your Jupiter and Mars rules the transiting Jupiter. So we can infer that with this square, there is an expansion of feelings(Cancer) or an increased sensitivity towards others etc. On one hand

When this happens, I tend to take a slow moving transiting planet which can have difficult to discern effects (like this current Jupiter Aries transit) to be a "make-shift" temporary natal planet.

Because Jupiter is out of aspect with my personal planets currently (both by longitudinal aspects and declinations). Its harder to see what its actually doing.

So from that logic(and using the whole sign system) i would then say that Jupiter is in my 1st house of Aries. Then watch faster moving transiting planets like Moon/Sun/Merc/Ven and Mars aspect it (by declinations, longitudinal aspects or both)to see what is unfolding.

Currently, trans Merc(in 7th) is opp trans Jup in 1st house. The social life has picked up a little in the past few days. There is a need to see others. To mix and mingle etc. Be more happy with company 👌🏿

And because trans Mercury in 7th touches Jupiter transiting the 1st house,there is also the increased possibility of personalizing oppositions to my ideas. There is more attachment to how i express myself. And if others disagree, i absolutely feel "attacked".

Using whole sign though Jupiter is transiting my 6th house. And this makes a lot of sense too because my daily habits are changing because of the focus I am giving them. I am very routine by nature, but this is giving me the space to start new routines and introduce new habits into my life.

Couple with Saturday's new moon, I am definitely bringing to life my intentions for my health and wellness. And I suppose by Aries's logic, with transit Mercury in my whole sign 12th house, this has given to a lot of spiritual thoughts about what I need to do in my life.

I tend to feel that way, whenever I see anything giving credence to conspiracy theories that have caused trouble, and brought about things like January 6th. Last year, I had a friend (most likely former, since I still take what she said personally), gaslight me, outright, when it came to January 6th. This is a case where what happened, was absolutely clear, and they tried to tell me it wasn't. When I countered something they said about something else, and then came to a realization about something personal, they went after my mental health. That's one reason I just don't give a crap anymore.

It's like my BIL, too. He is a gaslighter, he caused more than trouble for me. I was beaten up and harassed because of this groomer who hit on my sister when she was 19/20 and looked twelve, when he was in his mid-forties. Him, his lies, the sociopath my mum was engaged to, and more... it's all related, to me. It's all lies, and it all creates havoc, when I just wish for peace, and no ****** up situations.

Jupiter has returned for me, in my 5th house, unless you use equal, and then it's my 6th.

My mum dealt with this, with my dad in the past, and I have, too (when it comes to his sister, and one uncle). He has actually defended me in his own way, but my aunt just said, "We just won't talk about that anymore." Like when he told her that overturning roe was wrong. I'm used to not mattering much to them, but I told him once, that I needed him to speak up, when he knew that something was wrong. He was the one to take my side, when crap was going down with my sister. He said, "Someone has to defend Angela." He pulled her off me, when she was attacking me, when she laughed at me, when I was upset, he told her to stop.

I remember after my mum had been taking my sister's side, because she was drunk a lot, and she just wanted me to go along with whatever, to make her happy. I stood up for her, when my aunt had treated her like crap. She said, "THANK YOU!" and I started to tear up, saying, "That's what you do, for someone you love!" and then had to go to another room, because she hadn't done it for me, in those last few years. Not much, anyway. I'd just been scapegoated.

Its not a great time to be rational or objective. As i said, Jupiter amplifies. So even if hubby was to follow what you want, there is a possibility that you may think he didn't do it "right". Well said! Yeah I notice that when anything is in the early degrees of Aries, interactions with his side of the family can be extra tense!

Maybe this should be more of a reflecting period. But we will be back in town early October. I think it's important that I continue to express concerns about this to therapist.

I don't know anyone in my situation that deals with their in-laws like this. I might chat with my closest friends and family about this idea of my therapist.

Yeah I think it's very important to be stood up for in these situations.
I can give my husband a little benefit of the doubt, with his Asperger's and the way he was raised and conditioned.

I've neurotypical guys know exactly what's going on and chose to look the other way, knowing darn well that someone is being nasty towards me.

My husband really is the best because he has that obstacle to overcome, and actually wants and likes to be a better person.

Jupiter in 6th can also be great for work. Maybe landing a new job? Or increased pay? Perhaps even accolades related to work?

Finding bargains or "sales" is also Jupiter in 6th. Washing laundry and finding cash in those pockets or qualifying for a discount offer at a supermarket or convenience store etc. Is also likely.

Relations with colleagues improve.One colleague nay expand your life in some way. Applying for extended leave or improved mental & physical health is there too.

Jupiter in 6th can give the "i love it when a plan comes together" vibes. Things tend to manifest everyday in ways you can readily recognize and appreciate. And because you are usually in an attitude of gratitude, the universal laws seem to be in your favour as they deliver "let the good times roll" abundance.

I really, really take conspiracy theories personally now, because they have been forced onto us. It isn't like the stories about Bigfoot, where the local radio station said there had been a bigfoot sighting in this State, and I just knew it was in my area. I rolled my eyes, but it was nothing, you know? Totally different. Elvis making an appearance in a store, to buy his favourite fattening foods. Maybe Michael Jackson shows up, and they have a dance-off. Still totally different from the covid conspiracies, election conspiracies, and Alex Jones.

Yes.
And it's in Scorpio. I don't know if other people like their Scorpio houses. But I know Scorpio can be associated with the underworld. And my 2016-18 job really made me feel like I was in some hostile hell hole that I could not escape.

Maybe it's the combination of of Scorpio and Virgo energy. It's not easy to be a Virgo and it's not easy to be a Scorpio.

I have Scorpio moon, Pluto, Lilith, Kali, Elekra all in conjunction.

The moon is 18 degrees and it squares my Aquarius mars

The whole shabang squares my MC(h10) and NN(h9)
and squares Leo IC(h4) and S. Node(h3)

BUT
the whole shabang does sextile my Neptune Capricorn house 8

I notice I don't like too much 6 house or too much 10th house.

But she also agrees that she would be upset too if her husband was aware and did not privately confront the family member.

I know my husband has obstacles to overcome, but it really sucks to not get the same effort in return.

For example, I've defended my ex when he grew out his facial hair and my mom said "you look middle eastern" and "no one wants to kiss a mustache"

During wedding planning my mom had issues with my cousin being my Matron of honor. (she is on my dad's side, I have "a great role model" with talking about how you really feel about in-laws) My mom has made little passive aggressive comments about her before wedding planning. So I finally had enough and said "what is your problem with her?!" My mom of course gaslights me for this and acts like I am the crazy one who is projecting. BUT that was the first time I let her know that clearly you can't be reasoned and it's on you and not on me.

I also kind of have that thing going on with my husband where I can talk smack about him but no one else is allowed to. I was venting to my sister about husband within ear shot of my mom. So my mom just chimed in like "I don't think it's going to work out with you guys." I blew up her phone with texts the next day how she is not to speak that way about my husband.

She does love the guy, though she will express her concerns once in a while. I think the only other time I had to set her straight was recent. She told me how she notices my husband has a monotone when he talks and that he might want to see an audiologist. I said "I think he talks fine." And my mom started back peddling and acting like she didn't mean it, even though she just said it. LOL Thankfully we could just leave it at that and move on.

Oh cr@p I see a pattern here it's all my mom. My sister and dad have been viscus to my first serious relationship out of high school. But there were in line, because this guy was the punch a drywall type.

People that choose to behave a certain do not admit they are wrong, that they are bitter, that they are bullies because they are insecure.

If husband does confront her hopefully he's mentally prepared for gaslighting.
Ohhh and when people complain "why don't you talk to me first" It's because they don't want to be told on, they want to keep doing what they are doing, and when you confront them they will try to silence you.
I don't like the whole talk to me first thing. If they were REALLY sorry they wouldn't care if you confided in someone else for how they chose to behave towards another human being. Like if they did nothing wrong then WHY do they want it to be a secret.

Right now Jupiter is not aspecting anything, other than an inconjunct to my Virgo Venus and MC. I do have a lot on my mind regarding taking my profession to the next level. I feel stunted though, blocked... Saturn in my 3rd maybe? And the in conjunct always makes me think of two ships passing in the night....

That's okay!

I learned a lot. I took the worst job ever after I moved in with now husband. From 2010-16 I had been working part time. I liked my last job well, but they just refused giving me full time hours. So I finished college and thought it's time to be full time to make ends meet.

My first year at new job in 2016 my hours where consistent. My work environment was toxic. But at the end of the day I went home and left my work there.
The next year though when Jupiter went into Scorpio was when they told us that we will get overtime. But they did not really ask as if we want overtime. Some days I was there for 10 hours.

I also kind of had to make my husband aware that its unfair to expect me to be a domestic goddess when I am working more than he is, and what is more important to him?

I would of been fine just being a preschool assistant teacher the rest of my life. But every time I looked at job postings on indeed they were year round day cares, or the pay was lower than what I was making. My husband and I were making around the money at the time so I did not see taking a better job that pays less as an option.

I had some other significant transits going on at the time too. Like Neptune in my 10th house squaring my rising. And my reverse node transit. With Jupiter in Scorpio and Scorpio season in 2017. I decided that was enough and I had to find a way out of that work environment. I think Saturn started opposing my Jupiter at that time too. I hear that can be a "I need to leave this job transit" I decided to go on to my bachelors degree. I realized I would only make more money in my field if I was the lead teacher, and felt I was ready. With all the forced overtime, and my frugal habbits that I did not need to work the schools summer camp. This job just kept getting more and more invasive of my personal time. Being there til 9pm because of conferences outside of work events. And then they decided because parents complained that summer camp would be almost the entire summer. During the school year, it was too hard to schedule interviews after work with my hours being so inconsistent. I did a little nannying for niece and nephew and care gave for my grandma.
I also used online college as an excuse to not work summer camp.

I also decided am never taking overtime hours again. It's not worth my time, and I don't need it. I also calmly told my husband that I am also not doing it, because he did not show much appreciation and empathy towards me. I saw a change in him after I made that statement.

Well my husband changed fields in 2019 makes great money for having no college degree. Probably because he has to work in different parts of the country for long periods of time. Well two weeks after our wedding he asked me if I want to quit my job and travel with him. I worked one more year, and here I am now!

I am truly blessed. I can be like those women now who work for something to do, but don't NEED this job. There is really something so liberating about working, but knowing you don't need the job. Less likely to be exploited.

I also have that generational Neptune conjunct Uranus in Capricorn conjunction. I feel like a lot of people grow up idolizing career and how it can bite them in the arse. I feel like Uranus makes people want more of a life balance.

I think I like the 9th house because I have Saturn in the 9th house. So travel and college was not a strong part of my life in my early years. Other kids parents took them to Disney World/Land, went on cruises, went to Europe, went to tropical places.
I sucked at math, science, and reading(until 5th grade for reading) so I did not have good self esteem about where I have to spend most of my life and time. College and travel has peaked later for me. So it's like finally! I am one of those people who can get really down if I am always staying in the same place.

Also my NN in Aquarius h9. So I guess you can say I feel that travel is my destiny.

It really feels crazy that I went though all that cr@p with jobs and that I can travel and pretty much do whatever I want now. I would of never expected this for myself I really tried to conform and do what's expected of me. It just worked out for me. I don't expect it to last forever. But I am enjoying it as long as I can, or just feel like taking on more.

I also had/have Pluto conjunct Saturn while having my Saturn return. So I feel like that really packs a punch of this part of my life finally taking off.

I also have a 9th house Saturn and am learning to appreciate it more and more each day. For me it surfaces as mental expansion and exploring. I want to be free in thought, and I am prone to arguing the other perspective with others... I think I just like to have different perspectives in. life.

I identify more with the 10th house though in this part of my life. All I can do and think about is work. I do have two planets and the NN in 10th too, and a Cap moon. The weird thing is that I denied and repressed all of this desire and ambition until mid 30s. I never knew I wanted it.

Jupiter in Aries in 99/2000- I was busy getting engaged. Work was a necessity because I had to pay bills. We adopted a dog, and there were two marriages in our family.

Jupiter in Aries 2010/2011- my husband graduated law school. We had the death of two beloved pets and my father in law all within three months. And a lot of travel. This was also the real unraveling of our marriage though we didn't separate for two more years.

Jupiter in Aries 2022- so far one of my dogs suddenly had to be put down. We traveled twice this summer. And my oldest daughter is pretty much out of the nest... so it's like another death in a way (death of our lives as they were)
