I haven’t figured out yet, why I prefer a water Asc in men, though. But men with water Asc are mysterious and sultry and have great hair, at least the ones I’ve known so far.

In a lot of interpretations a square is interpreted as problematic but although it’s an aspect of friction it can still indicate attraction, especially when other aspects indicate that you’re enjoying that type of energy in romance. So maybe your attraction to Cancer Rising men could have to do with the fact is squares your Aries Venus/Mars. A square has Martian energy so maybe that’s why you like it that much. And I don’t know if you’re an early or late Scorpio Rising, but a big part of your 8th house could be in Cancer as well. That could explain why you find them mysterious and sultry.

moon sign yeah, that's a big one for me, i love earth moons particularly taurus or cap (but only when they fall into fire signs in vedic not towards the end of the sign i've noticed) i find them very soothing and grounding and like being near them

From my experience house placement sometimes beat aspects. I believe someone’s Mars in our 8th house makes sex always pretty intense. That person turns us on, and we don’t even know why.

Its funny because as i list my type to you. I realize that even though this is the theoretical explanation of my attraction. I can't say to you that it is indeed consistent in real life🤷🏿‍♂️

I don't think stellium in Cap including the Moon- Brad - intended or expected to run off and marry his co-star. But when Mars is activated in the chart, the outcomes are unpredictable. Add to that when emotions (8th house cusp of Cancer for Sag Asc) are heightened, reason and logic fly out the window.

In mythology i always wondered why Ven (with all her refinement) would be drawn to such a brute as Mars is known to be?

And well the answer could be that Mars energy arouses in us the instinct that is way off the bounds of logic or reason. Its almost like a temporary "madness" because we are literally "out of our minds". Maybe that's why we say that someone is "head over heels" inlove? In that the head(reason) is dethroned from leading the actions of the person. This to the extent that they appear "foolish"?

In my case(Mars ruling the 1st house and 8th) it has a "double dose " effect because of Aries rising i.e How I want the night to end up, is hardly how it does end up. I feel like my sex life is "fated".In that who i end up being intimidate with, is far removed from who I thought i would be intimate with.

I also find that who I thought was attractive, i don't get great intimacy with. But those outside that zone of what I would typically call "my type", totally rock my world.

So i do get what you mean there. But i must add that for the latter to occur, it is usually very spontaneous. Because in normal dating circumstances, we would be two ships passing in the dead of night.

# A story of Mars ruling my 8th in 7th and Venus ruling 7th in 8th.

I came back with a friend of mine from our 1st attended Pride march. We were BOTH not feeling all that great.

That year,the event was marred by all sorts of politics and controversy. And it was just a polarizing experience for us altogether.

I didn't know that he was bisexual/gay. And perhaps my gaydar was underdeveloped back then, but at no point was I "fishing" for any one of those fellaz that night. Nor did I and my friend don shirts stating "100% gay" on us.But it nevertheless happened.

The following day, we didn't say a word about it. I left for home. And i didn't see the guy again until years later when he was walking with a kid and a woman (whom I assumed was his family).

I didn't greet nor make eye contact.I walked on the other end of street and minded my business. To this day my friend has no idea what happened between me and that guy. He plays for the provincial team now and more famous than he was at the time of our encounter.

I took it to mean that we had a very intimate time that was spontaneously granted to us, and it wasn't meant to be something bigger than that.

I didn't care to know if he is in the closet /gay/bi or whatever. All i know is that the sex was awesome. And it happened with someone i LEAST expected to have it with.🤷🏿‍♂️

Alas, I have Sun/Moon/Asc/Saturn in mutable signs so things rarely progress beyond attraction. Either they get irritated with me, I feel hurt and shut down on them. Or they shut down on me.
