What are you experience with others? The point of ascension shows you how people view you regardless of how you actually are, first impressions, also physical manifestations like for example Venus conjunct the ascendant can [often but not always] manifest as a very attractive person, or like PLuto conjunct the ascendant can make people hate you for no reason or cause obsession etc,
I'm just wondering if you have anything conjunct your ascendant and how it effects your interactions with other people

I have Uranus conjunct ascendant, and people would either like me immediately, and feel protective of me (when I was extremely shy, and not nearly as vocal about things that bother me), or they didn't like me, on the spot. Most people expect me to handle anything, and there were a few who acted like I'd grown up in the worst conditions (I didn't). "That poor girl!" Extremes. I have an aunt who likes to diagnose me, because I basically told her to **** off, when she dismissed me, as I asked her for help with things going on at home, and then turned around and sucked up to my sister. I've been up since around 8pm, last night, and don't really know what to say. People can turn on a dime, as well. Suddenly have an attitude change. IP: Logged |

I have nothing conjunct my Ascendant but my friend has Pluto conjunct Ascendant and she has dealt with people that have disliked her for no real good reason. I think she comes off intimidating because of her face she does not have a friendly welcoming face like her personality really is. She comes off really closed off and can be very suspicious and guarded with people she don’t know like she would question why someone said Hi to her at a bar and think something might be behind it and read too much into it. She’s also the type who you gotta ‘’drag’’ the words or any conversation out of if she doesn’t know you too well or if she’s not drunk. She has a nice figure and beautiful long dark hair and her complexion is darker which i heard Pluto on the Ascendant can do sometimes, and she is dark compared to other white people and people often think she might be half Asian or something. Thank you for sharing. I also have Pluto conjunct my ascendant so I deal with similar situations that you described. Which sign is hers in? I’m the scorpio generation so mine is in scorpio. I deal with a lot of hatred from people particularly / specifically people who don’t know me or only know -of- me. It’s a good mixture of love and hate. Except for the extremes when the obsession/stalking side of this placement manifests. I would say people would describe me as an over thinker, calculated, erratic and sort of “too much” or funny enough - too quiet shy and reserved as a result of 90% of interactions i’ve had in my life. My Pluto is also conjunct the Ascendant, but I’m from the Pluto in Libra generation. I have a light complexion, with grey eyes and dark brown hair, which now is more on the blonde side because I have highlights to make the grey hairs less noticeable. I can come off as stern and unapproachable, but I also have Mars conjunct Saturn in the 10th house. I had a difficult time growing up and was ostracized by my female classmates during my teens. There seemed to be this odd power struggle between me and a couple of girls. I wasn’t sensitive enough to the existing social hierarchy in the class, not wanting to bow down to the “queen bees” and a general lack of social skills got me side lined during that period. But things got better when I went to university. I actually made some friends, got a job and really started growing into my own identity. I still don’t have a lot of friends but the ones I do have, are real sweethearts. We’re not super close in the sense that we call each other every week but we’re in contact regularly and I know that I’m an emergency situation they would have my back as I would too.I have my Pluto conjunct my Ascendant exact and I suspect it is also connected to how I was born. I had to be born in the hospital because I was a breech baby, born with my feet first. It had to be quick or I could have died of oxygen deprivation. My mother recalled there was a bit of a panic and the gynecologist that delivered me, got very angry at one of the nurses for not being fast enough. But I had a good score after being born and we were allowed to leave the hospital after three days. IP: Logged |

She also has it in Scorpio and it has been tough for her too. Not only has she dealt with people disliking her for no particular reason but she has also been thrown into these intense transformal periods in her life too where she gotta ‘’learn’’ something and i think if she keeps not learning and not letting herself change and transform it won’t get better. She needs to see what Pluto is trying to teach her and not focus so much on her Moon’s needs all the time. She has a Libra moon so she has a need to connect and interact with other people and a lot of her intense transformal times has come through her interactions with other people and relationships esp romantic interests. I think Pluto wants her to see that it is something within her that she needs to change in order for things to get better but first she needs to look within herself and make the changes. I think it matters which house the planet conjunct the Ascendant rules. With Pluto conjunct the Ascendant in Scorpio, it rules the 1st house of identity and the focus of the Plutonic energy will be very focused on this area. My Pluto is also conjunct Ascendant but rules my 2nd house of values. My crises and transformations are very visible and manifest itself as part of my identity but are rooted in issues with my values and self esteem. I also have my north node in the 2nd house so I know it’s that area of my life I need to grow in to achieve balance. @SleepyDiary, where does your friend have her north node? And where are her Mars (“ancient” chart ruler) and Venus (7th house ruler) located? IP: Logged |

Yes i agree i think it depends what house they rule. She has Node in the 2nd house and Venus in the 11th and Mars in the 8th house. But i just found out it turns out she has Pluto in the 12th house conjunct Ascendant and Scorpio rules both of those houses in her chart. She is very much confused about and don’t see her darker sides so well which i think Pluto tries to show her when she has those intense periods, and with node in the 2nd it’s just like with you that she has issues with self esteem and values too and needs to grow in that area. i have venus conjunct my ascendant, people do generally tell me i'm attractive (have heard everything from cute to gorgeous 🤷♀️  and i generally find that people like me and find me easy to get along with and pleasant too etcguy i'm with has the same conjunction in a different sign and he's adorable and people generally also find him very easy going and likable etc his sister also has this placement but idk what her experiences of it have been really my mother has it as well and i've noticed the same for her, and same with my younger brother who has it too a friend of mine with this placement is really pretty and people are very drawn to her as well the placement tends to come with people just having a draw towards you in some fashion and not necessarily just a physical attractiveness thing it's a very good placement for working in healthcare from what i've seen because of the way people respond to you (5 of the 6 people i've listed, myself included, have/had jobs in that field, whereas my brother is a teacher and very good with his students) so it's very helpful when you need to have positive interactions in situations that are often stressful
