I recently talked to my therapist about my boyfriend and she thinks that he might have mild symptoms of BPD. He’s not diagnosed (I'm not looking for a diagnosis either) but I was just wondering if there were elements in his chart that would make him at times emotionally volatile and defensive. Some things of note in his chart:

- Grand fixed cross
- Moon conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius
- 12th house Leo stellium
- Mars conjunct Chiron in Scorpio

We have lots of 3rd, 6th, and 12th house synastry. Also, all of his exes and his sister have Virgo moons, as do I. He is a Leo/Sag/Virgo who has dated Aries/Virgo/Cancer, Libra/Virgo/Capricorn, and now me Aqua/Virgo/Gemini. I was wondering what everyone thought of this situation as I’m currently having a hard time understanding him.

His chart:

You cannot diagnose by a chart. But his looks intense and might be emotionally/ mentally unstable.
Mercury (AC ruler) making aspects to all outer planets (mostly hard ones) and nodes. Pluto Moon exact and Scorpio Mars sq. Sun Venus.
Your chart is more detached with Aqua stellium, Pisces Mars, Moon Jupiter. It can make it harder to understand each other. But it could make it easier for you to make a deal with him.

Remove -s from https to make it easier to view.

Interesting you say I'm more detached because lately, I've been more possessive and insecure than him. He was definitely more jealous/anxious at the beginning. We started doing long distance last week; I've been feeling him detaching and he's been going to a lot of parties and drinking a lot, which has made me anxious. Can you tell me more about making a deal with him?

Also, do you have any thoughts on him only dating Virgo moons? His sister (Aries) and best friend (Sag) are also Virgo moons.

We all have favorite placements. I have been attracting many similar placements without knowing it. He has Virgo AC and his Saggy moon Pluto square Virgo moon, it could be enough reasons. Earlier degrees Virgo conjunct his Venus Sun; later - his AC. He must like the energy.

There’re many charts and in the perfect world you need to consider all the factors. I look at the synastry now , you’re Pluto to his moon. Some people like that aspect, for me, it’s a trouble maker. Pluto wants to control and possess moon. Rumor has it, Pluto should have upper hand. However, he already has Pluto to his moon. That’s familiar energy for him and he probably wouldn’t give Pluto- partner much power as she wants. That’s where your possessives and insecurities could come from.
People with Aqua and Jupiter/ Saggy are notorious for loving freedom and being able to handle long- distance, non- traditional relationships, but it could be hard for your Cappy Venus sq. Saturn and Virgo moon as it would prefer more stable and mature partner.

I would say the following have potential for trouble:

Sun/Venus in Leo 12th : charming, deceptive, smooth

Mercury opposite Neptune/Uranus- delusions, lying easily, he doesn't the truth clearly and he can also spin the situation to make others see a different truth

Scorpio Mars/Chiron/ TaurusSAturn opposite 3rd/9th- harsh, calculating, vindictive

Moon/Pluto in 3rd- mental trauma, mental abuse, verbal/emotional abuse,

SN in 5th, he may have hard time with hedonism, it's what he is familiar with, used to...

These obviously could also go in a different direction, but based on your description, this is what I would look at.
