I’m going pure by intuition here, so the evidence is probably lacking but it’s still fun to guess😁Lui Yunxi, somehow gives me a Mercury vibe (could also be his Sun conjunct Mercury) and a Gemini Rising with a first house Venus would make sense to me. He has a very soft appearance. This also puts his north node in the 10th house (a good indicator for fame) and his Moon in the 8th house (common with famous people who want to keep a part of their life private). Maybe his birth time is around 02:10? Chen Feiyu gives me a strong fire vibe. First, I thought a Leo or Sagittarius Rising but then I noticed his Aries placements so maybe that’s why I sensed fire. Still, a Leo Rising would make sense to me, this would put his Taurus Jupiter, Mars and Saturn conjunction in the 10th house and his Aries Venus and Pisces Mercury in the 8th house. His Taurus placements are very noticeable to me. Maybe a birth time around 13:15? IP: Logged |

PlutoWasHere,I was thinking the same for Yunxi! Gemini rising with Venus in the 1st. I believe before going into acting he was a ballet dancer. And he is a singer too. With Feiyu, I don't know why I get earth vibes. Mostly Virgo. His dad is also a very famous director in China. His mom was or is a famous actress. For Yunxi I believe either Gemini, Leo, Aries or Libra. For some reason I see his Aries Mars very heightened. And you're right. Something in the 8th house or Scorpio must also be very prominent in his chart. Thanks for you comment! IP: Logged |

As a fan of Wuxia and XianXia C-dramas, I have been waiting since 2019 for a series these two star in, to air. At this point other fans and I are giving up!I am hoping that by figuring out their true natal charts, I will be able to go to their progressions and look for shared and simultaneous astrological events that could potentially point to their big show airing for millions of waiting fans. PlutoWasHere, I will plug in the times you suggested and will see if I can figure anything out! IP: Logged |

Just found out an interesting fact about Feiyu. He was born in the US, and I am guessing somewhere in MA because the internet says he went to school there. In July 2021 after he was already 21, he gave up American citizenship and got Chinese nationality (I don't know if in China they are allowed to have dual citizenships or not). So, do you think there must have been some interesting 4th house (nationality) activities, as well as third house (important paper and legal work) during that summer for him? I am thinking transits or progressions of Saturn, Jupiter or Pluto or Moon. I am gravitating more toward those of Moon and/or Pluto. IP: Logged |

Aries23, Long time no see lol. I agree, they are both breathtaking. These two were cast per request of thousands of fans to who kept writing and begging to the Chinese production company Tecent, to have them play master and student in this phenomenal show. Yunxi in particular was offered a very high salary to play in this show which now seems to never air. IP: Logged |

Hey😁❤ They are Leo/Aries respectively. Already a trine. Is there supposed to be a homoerotic element to the series featuring them? 🤔

Aries,You guessed it! The novel that this series is based on, has a strong, often very violent love/hate theme. Nothing in western media or art could really be compared to it. The novel has many trigger warnings: gore, cannibalism, rape, suicide, mass murder, etc. But after the entertainment company buys the right to do a series based on the novel, they are automatically entitled to make as many changes to the main plot as they want. Hence the relationship between these two is much less violent in the series based on the leaked information. In some cases, fans can control how much the plot is going to be changed, for instance if a female character is matched with a male main character which never happened in the novel. They usually write to the company and threaten to boycott the series if the change goes that far. This happened not that long ago with another bromance wuxia C-drama, where a female character had to be cut off midair due to the threats of the fans! Often in China these "bromance" series are believed to lure in millions of female fans and viewers, which in most cases is the fact. The novels that these series are based on are also often written by women. Anyways they finished filming two years ago. The production of this series is said to be the most expensive one among Chinese series so far. The genre is fantasy and immortals, and a lot of special effects and CGI work must have been put into it. Some fans believe that the policy makers in China are working hard to prevent the bromance series from airing because they threaten family values, hence why many of the bromance C-dramas that have already finished filming are not airing. I personally believe that this is due to the fact that making historical and fantasy dramas is very expensive and often needs a lot of hard work. For me this is a guilty pleasure, when I need a break from normal boring romance, and a lot of action, philosophy/cosmology and pain instead, lol. IP: Logged |

Wow. This is fascinating 🤔. Especially when it comes to the fans controlling the outcome of the plot. It's interesting that you mentioned that the series serves as a bit of escapism from what you said is "normal boring romance". I read an article a while back that discussed the growing (and perhaps underground but now above ground) interest in same sex romance or even the suggestion of it via implied sexual tension between male leads. I watched "Vikings" and noticed that fans were more interested in "bromances" or suggested same sex attractions than the usual heteronormative couplings. The article in question talked of how rigid, austere and formalized everyday male-male relationships have been known to be , that (as in the example given) society may be so hungry for same sex affection or gentleness, that it has somehow created a niche market for such shows. Even if the backdrop of the show is gratuitous in its depiction of violence. The contrast arouses interest. This may be especially true in countries where machismo is prevalent and men are still into clear and formalized roles of "masculinity" as represented by secular media etc.But such shows may face resistance as is the case in China. The defence being that they "destroy family values" or perhaps that they "effeminize" men etc. IP: Logged | |
