I don't think the vertex is a point that's expressed. It's just a sensitive point where the ecliptic crosses the prime vertical. It casts no "light" of its own and does not reflect light from the sun either. Another force has to activate this point to awaken fate. If you meet someone who's sun is on your vertex, that could be a fated relationship or having your composite venus on the composite vertex would show a fated relationship as well. The north and south nodes differ slightly as they are the points where the sun and the moon's ecliptic cross paths. The moon is said to be the soul's yearning (our emotions) and the sun is our essence, so where they meet is said to be where our soul wants to go. IP: Logged |

The only way I know is through developing awareness of what you are doing, through meditation to be specific, and even then it would be difficult to tell in which particular moment the vertex is being expressed, there are countless amount of things influencing us at every moment, from planets to the conditionings. That being said, there is also the possibility of categorizing us according to different astrological influences, Mars is action, Moon rules the mind, etcetera, but is difficult to tell.IP: Logged |
