My own chart has only 8 aspects between the planets (not counting declinations). The older I've gotten, the more comfortable I've become with myself and in my own skin as well as with the soul inside. It's been a journey of learning how to bring the outside to match the inside and I'm nowhere near finished. I really think charts with a low number of aspects are on a mission to resolve very specific lessons and can't be bothered with much else. That's how I feel anyway. I've always followed my own opinion of myself and very rarely cared for the opinions others held of me or what they thought I should do. Not in an arrogant way, more of a "I'm free of the judgment of others" kind of way and I let them think whatever they want. I have with age learned to value the advice of other people though but only ask one or two trusted people who are very close to me. With north node on the ascendant, Uranus conjunct the sn/descendant, and so few aspects I feel this life is all about learning about myself and how to bridge the gap of ego/soul. I don't feel particularly drawn to any one path and I've always just gone wherever life takes me and I'm very happy with that. Does this ring true for anyone else? IP: Logged |

This is interesting. It could become a nice astrological discussion if you were to share you chart? What are the 8 aspects? What planets? Is there a focal point? IP: Logged |

I think the general theory behind having few aspects is that there are more “stand alone” parts within your personality. This could mean that it’s difficult to, for example, connect your sense of self (Sun) to your inner needs (Moon). It’s not impossible, it just takes more self awareness. And that is often the beauty of aging, you have gotten to know yourself better and are likely to better understand these different parts of yourself. I think that it’s important for everyone to learn about themselves but with only a few aspects connecting your planets you might have a stronger urge for self exploration. It seems fitting that you have such a prominent Uranus, the planet of both social awareness and individuality. Have you checked declinations too? These could indicate connections to other planets that are not visible through classic aspects. My Mars is poorly aspected with only a conjunction of Saturn in my chart. But it’s also parallel my Mercury, a connection that also can be seen through rulership. My Gemini Mercury is the final dispositor of my Mars in Cancer and my Moon in Virgo. I think it’s also helpful to look at rulers and your final dispositors for more insight. My Taurus Sun is very close to being unaspected, there’s only a very wide orb (8 degrees) conjunction with Jupiter. But I have a stellium in Taurus together with Venus, south node but also asteroids Pallas and Vesta. Vesta is within a 3 degree conjunction with my Sun, indicating that my sense of self is strongly connected to dedication and service. With my Sun in a fellow Earth sign, conjunct Vesta and in a Virgo decan, there is a connection with my Virgo Moon without there actually being an aspect between these two. Have you checked the goddess asteroids (Ceres, Juno, Pallas and Vesta) and decans for more connections? I would also suggest checking degrees and draco for further connections. My Sun (18 Taurus 08) is in Libra degree and my draco Sun is also in Libra, conjunct (4 degrees) my natal Libra Rising. There are lots of connections beyond our regular aspects. It shows us where there is focus in our personality, but we’re not always aware of it. IP: Logged |

My chart, and I completely forgot to add the 3 conjunctions 🤦♀️ so that brings the total to 11. In declinations my sun is contra parallel mars which makes the opposition in my natal much stronger. I've really had to work on that one. I also have Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune parallel the south node/descendant. Draco compared to the natal there are many squares, again adding to the pressure of working out the struggle of inside vs outside. Stellium are very powerful, I have 2 and they put a lot of focus on the houses they occupy. My 12th and 6th are very prominent and I think that's very fitting with the theme I've noticed in my life. Descovering my true inner self and that self being of service to those I encounter. Draco - natal comparison IP: Logged |

Thanks for posting your chart For memory, those 2 lots of stelliums is called a see-saw. Sorry, I don't have info to add on this without looking it up. It's not like an empty chart though - it's not actually THAT thin. I've considered that when there are thin aspects to a planet, it becomes intense. A focal point exists, and maybe it becomes a special/expert skill. For an easy example: if your Mercury is the only aspect to your Moon, you become specialised at expressing emotions into words. You may share this skill with others to help them, or speak on behalf of others, or become a fantastic writer, or a dramatic person. The energy isn't scattered with many channels. That aspect is the only channel for expression for the Moon. Your Sun is the least aspected. So, your sense of being yourself, and being some kind of authority, and stepping into leadership, are strong focal drivers for you. IP: Logged |

Yes I agree. With less aspects comes less "distractions". My sun is in the 12th house though so my leadership skills are pushed to the back and I only step into that roll if I have to. I've had to learn to support instead of lead, I really love showing people how to find the leader in themselves instead of me leading them. What you said about speaking for others is also true, but it comes from a deeper place of understanding before I speak. Mercury tries Neptune which makes a sextile to the moon. 6th,8th, and 12th houses are involved so that drives the intuition deeper. I feel other's energies and translate that into words when I'm talking to them. It's especially helpful when reading charts. I feel them first before dissecting them with aspects/signs/houses. With little aspects those 4 (Pluto is with my moon) can work as a unit.
