Topic: Do progressed aspecys have the same strength as natal transits?

Currently have tSaturn conjunct my Sun/Merc at the moment and it is NOT a fun time for me.
Especially since my Sun/Merc is at the apex of a t-square with Moon/Pluto so tSaturn is sitting right on top of that right now 😫So since natally my Sun, Merc and Saturn are all in Aqua.. Progressed Saturn is nearly conjunct natal Sun/Merc..
I don't think I could go on for years feeling this way.. EDIT to clarify .. which is felt stronger? the progressed conjunction or transit conjunction? Thankyou IP: Logged |

for progressions to be felt the orb has to be exact. So you can play with the ephemeris or other tools to see when that will be.For transits though, it does not have to be exact (although when exact it will hit the hardest), and over the course of a full tranit passing by your natal points, planets or houses, you will feel all the flavors and themes that the planet transitting, the planet being aspected by the transitting planet, and the house have to offer. Sometimes asking the right question is the path to finding the right answer.It does not entirely make sense to put a scale on "how strong" something is felt in astrology as it tends to be completely subjective. If by "how strong" you mean how long like in your original post, then I believe I answered your question. You will need to check with the ephemeris and the exact orb in progressions, and with transits, as long as an applicable orb is happening, it will keep manifesting its effects. ------------------

I have checked and the progressed conjunction will be for quite a few years..
If it feels anything like the natal conjunction.. I'm in for quite a ride 😭
Saturn conjunct sun for me right now feels like my chest is feeling crushed.
Progressed Saturn conjuct natal sun.. I assume it will feel the exact same, but for a much longer period. Guess I'll find out. Yay.IP: Logged |

Correct me if I'm wrong these are quite different things. The distinction can be made: Progressions, you become that person to where your planet has progressed. Transits are more triggering of both, the natal placements and the progressed placements.

YesI'm very blessed to have nice Mars and Jupiter placements , Mars is in my 9th house Jupiter is in my 1st lol!!! My favorite Natal Aspects in my chart:
Sag Jupiter in 1st Sag
Pluto in 1st in Sag
Mars in 9th in Leo
Mars Trine Jupiter
Mars Conjunct MC
Mercury/Moon Sextile Jupiter
Sun Square Jupiter
Sun in Pisces But I have some awesome Progressions right now:
Mars trine Jupiter
Mars trine Ascendant
Mars in Leo in 8th
Aries Sun in 4th (Trine Mars/Jupiter/ASC) JUPITER CONJUNCTION ASCENDANT (exact)
Progressed Sag Rising Point being... progression wise Jupiter is my strongest planet. And I can feel the jovial , good luck, guardian angel, FAITH SEEKING energy VERY STRONGLY! Beyond blessed. Get treated like a Preacher.
