What insight do you hope to gain?

Saturn @ 28.11 Libra
IC @ 28.23 Libra
Pluto @ 27.47 Libra
Moon @ 21.14 Libra

No other significant aspects to Saturn.

Day-to-day life?

Career: I never sought the career that I'm in. It came to me as a matter of following circumstances. I go into the office when I want and work from home when I want. It's miserable and unrewarding but I've made myself indispensable for my employer and I could never be fired. That guarantee of security is crucial to me.

Societally: I'm not interested. I'm a homebody. I'm isolated among a huge mass of humanity who have very different values than my own. I bought a 120-year-old house and have gutted it, replaced wiring, replaced plumbing, replaced gas lines, removed plaster, lath, asbestos, wallpaper, drop ceilings, carpeting, paneling, and subflooring, I've committed to the likelihood that I'll never complete the restoration nor have any reason to have taken on such a project other than wanting something greater than myself to feel obligated to since I'll probably never have a wife or children.

I guess that's the summary of my Saturn.

I feel Neptune clouds are coming. Libra Scorpio who doesn’t need to play by society rules, has some dark vibes but doesn’t fall apart and can fix houses, and unavailable. Gee, I didn’t have a crush for a while. 💃😁💁‍♀️

I have always seen Saturn in the area of the chart as the subconscious awareness of "scarcity", "limitation" or "not enoughness".

So in defense of that, there is a tendency to hold on to what little there is in order to have a sense of continuity or stability.

For instance if you have Saturn in 11th or ruling the 11th, liquid gains(money) may be hard to come by. So there is often a lot of budgeting/investing done for the little that there is. This in order for one to meet the demands of life like being able to pay bills & rent, buy groceries (2nd house) and function independently of others(self sustenance) etc.

In house 1 or where Cap/Aqua is rising, it is often the default reservation/ conservation of energy resources. One holds on to the vitality of the body because there is so little of it.

Hence why Saturn conj house 1 or Cap/ Aqua rising people often appear so stoic facially or give very little away in the form of body language/facial expressions in conversations. This to such an extent as to be called "serious" or "morbid".

Thats because the above(often taken for granted by others) requires energy. And when young(especially), Saturn's influence of house 1 doesn't give energy away as much as other youngsters.

So these natives can be prone to sicknesses or have tenuous health issues that they need lots of rest to overcome.

As they age, the cellular memory within the body remembers this and makes them less wasteful of energy now acquired. This because it was so hard to get and they don't know when it'll run out.

So they use very little or are "minimalists" in facial expressions, body language or movement. This to such an extent that they gain the reputation of being called "stiff", "stoic" or "acting old". Etc.

I have Saturn in 8th house ruling my 11th and 10th house too.

When i was young, I didn't have much of a Father(Sat). The boundaries were unclear because he was a tense person who would beat us for things that we didn't even know were wrong to do🤷🏿‍♂️.

So i came to distrust authority figures (Sat) and not have much faith in them. This includes "God". I thought them erratic and prone to their own unpredictable whims. And so I have been distant from them.

I dont make friends with bosses at work or people "higher up". I keep my distance from them too. And since Sat/Ven are conjunct, this extends to relationships(Ven). I don't trust partners or partnerships easily.

So i tend to hold on or really appreciate the small number of people that have proven to be sincere and loyal. I have an ex(Ven) whose become a really trustworthy friend. Perhaps he has always been dependable? Its just that I have been slow to give trust?

But anywho, since Saturn rules my 10th and 11th house, I do tend to keep friends who have also proven loyal or consistent.

Within the career, I have not been as lucky as to find stability. But I would imagine that I would be loyal to a job that is grounded, regulated and reliable ❤

Saturn in the 9th, ruler of my 3rd. Square Pluto and Jupiter.

I'm like the designated driver, if I could drive.

I'm not religious, but I love Christmas hymns, and once went to church, thinking it would be a good way to meet local people. It wasn't.

This reminds me of a post I saw from an astrologer that I follow:
http://twitter.com/kirastrology/status/1605831336903819267

"when you have the ruler of the 3rd in the 9th"

She included a meme that says, "well, first of all, through God, all things are possible, so jot that down."

I don't actually believe that, but I have tried to, in the past. Went through the manifestation phase, etc.

I don't like conspiracy theories.

I don’t believe in karma. At least, not the way that people try to use it against others. Say my cat is sick. It must be because I disagreed with someone. My punishment. Nope.

Ha. You're flirting with me?

I really enjoy Libran energy in women.

I find it interesting when a woman's Libra Sun is conjunct my Moon. There are gender archetypes already being modified with a male Scorpio being the negative or "feminine" expression of Mars and mingling with a female Libra being the positive or "masculine" expression of Venus. Then we're further muddling these masculine/feminine archetypes because we're dealing with the woman's Sun conjunct the man's Moon. Add it all up and there's a definite ego push-and-pull that happens between us, and it feels extremely apropos for the balancing of the scales.

Personally, my Libra Moon appreciates that ability to relate, and my Scorpio Sun appreciates that challenge.

I once dated a Libra Sun woman with a Scorpio Moon; our Suns were conjunct each other's Moons. Libra falls in my 3rd house (Virgo on the cusp, ruled by Mercury, placed in Scorpio conjunct Sun / Venus / Jupiter) and there's usually a healthy verbal communication between myself and Libra, but with this mutual Sun/Moon conjunction there was a ton of silent psychological power play between us.

Funny though, I always feel very light-hearted with Libra women but I can't escape my nature to need control. I find they can be incredibly persuasive and despite the typical mental and verbal jousting between us, those Libra women strike me as so truly Venusian that in the end I invariably see her as the woman, and I receive a reenforced sense of my own masculine identity.

EDIT: My apologies for the digression. This thread is about Saturn...

So my Saturn is in the 5th house and classically, I feel anxious if I haven't done something constructive with my day.

Like: get hours in of university studies, build more of online business.. etc. These are the things I do for "fun".

I do not enjoy recreation, or frivolous fun at all. I am always concerned about time passing, and possibly not building or learning something.

I only like being productive, learning something, and building on a project.

I recall a Taurus boyfriend with his Sun in my 5th wanting to go shoot golf balls off for fun at the range. The thought made me anxious - what for? I couldn't understand "fun".

Which applies to romance too: how can I relax in this romantic situation if I don't know where it's going or what we intend to build? A waste of time.

Although, as I have aged I have come to enjoy romance and recreation. I might go shoot some balls off for fun one day.

These days I get paid to do recreation: bike riding, ice-skating and such.

I was thinking the other day how I would otherwise be anxious going ice-skating, just for fun. Being paid for it makes me feel like I am not wasting my time.

My post was funny? I guess my life comes across as comical. Glad I could be of some amusement, I mean that nonsarcastically. Laughs feel best at the expense of others. My first romantic obsession was a Taurus girl. She played practical jokes on me all the time. I hate practical jokes and it infuriated me but it made her so happy.

That all certainly sounds like Saturn in the 5th.

And it's in Taurus? Is Saturn your chart ruler? What aspects do your personal planets make to Saturn?

Not sure if you intended the double meaning here, but this comment made me laugh hard for the first time today.

This has been true for me. Also: close, mutually supportive, lasting friendships are something I can count on one hand. Relationship to authority figures: probably too casually egalitarian for my own good.
Childhood: Oldest sibling but almost always the youngest in my class at school, lots of responsibilities at a young age —some of them completely voluntary, but I was also routinely left “in charge” by adults who assumed I was smart and competent enough to handle situations that I really resented being put in.

Yeah.. I'll whack some balls one day, yet... lol.

My ruler goes with Neptune so I’m not sure what I’m doing a half of the time 😊

That’s interesting synastry with Sun Moon DW.
Control issue is pretty much a highlight of my deals with Scorpios. But I’ve been going through Pluto transits so my own control/ power issue also got highlighted.

My Saturn is in 1H Aries opposite 7H Libra Sun + Mercury.

As it is in my 1H (and ofc opposite my sun) I feel very Saturnian.

In fact, Saturn is one of the biggest influences in my life. I strongly feel my Saturn.

I find it hard to "let loose", I take things much more serious than others my age. I have always been mature, even as a very young kid. It is very hard for me to lose my inhibitions.

I am self-censoring, and that is something I am trying to overcome. I won't let myself create art or music because I know it won't be a masterpiece. I am trying to do things just for fun, just because I can, verses trying to make things Incredibly Good and Flawless and Something To Be Proud Of. Others create just BECAUSE THEY ENJOY IT, whereas I am too focused on creating something Phenomenal. It is hard for me to surrender to The Flow.

But like they say, I've found Saturn gets much better with age. I've developed discipline and maturity and as I age, life gets easier. While I was envious of those who just let loose, now they are struggling to learn the lessons of life. Whereas I am already comparatively wise and mature. Also, as I develop my skills, the things I create ARE good. I won't let myself settle, and as I age, that trait is very helpful.

All in all I have huge respect for Saturn. It's not fun, it's not easy, but I am stronger and better because of it.
