If so, state what placement in their charts did you see in whatever role they took on?

I have seen this so many times now and they play the role so well too.

I’ll start

1.America ferrera-Ugly betty, Superstore

In both of these roles she played a very busy talkactive person who was hardworking and who took on a lot of responsibilities. She has Cap rising with Sun and Venus in the 3rd house.

How to train your Dragon-Astrid
Yes i love me some Disney and Pixar 🥰 haha.
But here she played the feisty, hot headed strong girl that was ready for battle. Aries Sun and Venus with Moon conjunct Mars too.

2. Courtney cox- Monica gellar
Monica was such a clean freak and so controlling of everything having to be just in place. She was also a cook and worked as a Chef and everyone was always hanging out in her place. Virgo Moon conjunction Pluto and Cancer Venus.

Courtney did say she was actually first put to try out for Rachel but she herself asked to try out for Monica instead because she felt she could do that role better and i can see why haha.

I must have tapped into your inquiry a day before you wrote this sleepy!
I was wondering about her, ugly Betty and where she might have gone to.
I hadn't heard of her in awhile. I was also thinking of how she was gorgeous and played that title role. Interesting.

I have not a well thought out response to your inquiry but I have often believed ppl were casted in roles due to their personal stars. If you notice often Cancer/Leo Sun signs are largely used in hellywood.
Leo is the opposite of Aqua which is in tarot the star card. Aquarius in previous lifetime was Leo, it's the shadow.. of Leo.

I think if they want to cast someone the luminaries might get stronger attention as they are masculine/feminine nature of the actors. But Mars and rising might for anima get considered as well Mercury placements for the way script lines are delivered. I was interested in being an actress long ago, yet my focus went more to dance, singing and modeling.
I saw some industry inside stuff in my early years. Each generation the top male/female actors has a different *sought after appearance*. Like Barbie was becoming popular on the heels of Marilyn Monroe and her counterparts. We have what to meet looks like a "desired" look every decade that is similar to class king/Queen in highschool. Previous to Marilyn the coal black hair was what they wanted for the *look* on the female actors. Of course hair dye can bring that feature. No need of being a particular hair color in that way.

The 90s we had a rage for the male Brad Pitt, femme J. Anniston and her ?adversary Jolie.

Yes. I do think they cast actresses and actors according to their charts.
I've noticed the majority of the guild ones have had natals that were publicly seen whereas many who might not have had docs like adopted ones (aside from a handful like MM) have not been casted in very significant roles. Just my observation.

I'm going so far off here. lol
As for certain features, there's a couple connections in the chart that brings a cleft in the chin. A widow peak in the hairline. Someone slight in stature might be related to their Saturn (structure).

Good thread!

I have seen Actors taking on roles that resemble their charts.

Just right off the top of my head, Angelina Jolie has Jupiter in martial Aries, and she has taken many roles as a badass action figure/heroines.

Yes she is such a beauty and when she cries too it hits me hard for some reason her voice is so heartwarming i don’t know if you saw the whole show but in one episode she was trying to better her style and went to the salone and fixed her hair and was dressed up and felt so great and excited about her new look and when she was done she went to mode the magazine she worked for and there Wilhelmina the role Vanessa Williams played made fun of her in front of everyone and she went into the bathroom and cried and the sound of her crying and her face when she cried made me cry too. I actually want to check the synastry between me and her and see what is up with that because i could not resist crying when i heard her cry it’s just something about her voice that hits me straight in the feels and she has a beautiful voice too.

You should check out her other TV show Superstore. It was funny

Thank you☺️

Haha yes true she has. Interesting that she has Jupiter in Aries I can see more in her chart that i think also is ‘’behind’’ her roles like having an Aries Moon and Mars too.

I’ve seen actors say that some roles have helped them. Like therapy of a sort. Maybe they did.

In the late 90s/early 2000s, Aries actresses were all starring in big shows (at the time). Buffy, Felicity, Alias.
Keri Russell with her Aries sun, cappy moon, Venus and mercury in Pisces (I think?), played romantic and honour student Felicity, who impulsively changed colleges and plans, after the boy she had a crush on, said he wished he’d known her better, in her yearbook.

Buffy fought vampires, and saved the world. Garner fought the bad guys, and saved the world.

Keri Russell also played a Russian spy, in America. Husband was a Scorpio (also in real life).

Season two and three of You: Aries wife, Scorpio husband. I won’t spoil it, but I knew astrologers who used that knowledge to describe season three. Only their sun signs.

Her moon is in Aries, too.

She’s also a Gemini who took the majority of the heat for brad Pitt choosing to cheat on his wife.

Someone on this forum has said many times that Sagg people (Brad Pitt is a Sagg) tend to get away with stuff the rest of the zodiac can't.

These were good ones 👍 I remember watching Buffy for a while i had no idea she was an Aries but that side really came through in that role.

Did he really cheat though ? I think him and Jennifer had some problems beforehand like him wanting a family and her still not being ready for it and he had just entered his 40’s so when Brad went on and made that movie with Angelina who absolutely wanted a family he fell in love. I just think they fell for each other during filming but i don’t think anything happened until he seperated.

They do have their ‘’lucky breaks’’ like for example Trump ended up becoming the president and he has no experience with politics and it was written all over him that he would be a bad president and Rkelly got away with his disgusting behavior for years even though their were big proof out there years before he was finally thrown in jail. But i have also noticed their ‘’luck’’ runs out too esp when they don’t learn from their stupid behavior like for example with these two.

Both of them have Sag moons

The Moon sign is (for me) indicative of the range an actor will have and the types of roles that they would be drawn to.

Melissa McCarthy tends to be good at roles where she is the quirky misfit or the awkward one. She has Uranus/Moon square. So she is used to being the "odd ball".

This whether it's "Identity thief", "Tammy" or "I-Spy". We lpve to laugh at her being awkward and goofy etc.

Marlon Brando(considered one of the finest actors of our age)had Moon in Aries conj Sun square Pluto. Apparently, he was a "method actor"? But his method was only known to him because judging by the accounts of his co-stars, he was quite a spontaneous "in the moment " type of performer. He would read the script "as he went".

This was in keeping with his Aries Moon(spontaneity) conj Sun. The square with Pluto would be the powerful need to follow one's own internal directive (this despite external resistance).

And the added Uranus parallel Sun( which by default would affect the Moon through its conjunction with the Sun) is the "adhoc" nature he had that would make his co-stars feel ill at ease.

Chris Hemsworth (to me) hasn't begun acting. Eye candy? Yes. Actor? NO. But already it seems his career is slowing down as he has been rumoured to want to retire because of an illness?

His Moon is square illusive Neptune. The Hero.So he comes across hard to grasp as an actor. But there is a lot of projection that we can do-this even to a point where we confuse him with tye character he plays.

Interestingly however,Neptune does deal with fantasy and the archetype "Hero". And Hemsworth will always be synonymous to "Thor" in people's minds. Some people don't even know his real name. And that's Neptune. Our identity can be concealed behind a character. 😶

Viola Davis with Neptune square Sun and Moon is similar. I couldn't tell whether SHE was Annalize Keating on "How to get away with murder"? Whether the role was written for her? Or else at some point she merged with the charater so much, she "became" her?

She has Sun/Moon opposite. This is the aspect of multi-facetedness. Its no wonder she is drawn to complex people who have a sort of "Jekyl and Hyde" persona. This is the Sun/Moon opposition personified. And Annalize was certainly like this. We couldn't tell who she was from one day to the next🤷🏿‍♂️

Interestingly enough, Annalize also battled alcoholism(Neptune). And Viola has Neptune in aspect to her Sun/Moon opposition(as mentioned above). ☝🏿

This was very good and i agree so much when it comes to the Moon 👍 I have also seen SO many times that some actors with a ‘’non’’ emotional moon are not that great with emotional scenes it feels forced and like they are trying so hard to get the tears out. I esp remember one scene of Brad pitt in the movie Legends of the fall where he was crying and it was so awkward and it felt so forced he has a Capricorn Moon don’t remember his aspects though. He plays better in action and comedy like Fight Club and Glorious ******** or when he plays a serious but not so emotional guy. Fire and Water moons are the best ones with emotional scenes in my opinion. Fire can be so dramatic but delivers it so powerfully like Charlize theron and Water will hit you right in the feels as soon as their eyes starts tearing up.

Cap Moons(barring aspects) are good at roles that require emotional restraint. Or those that have characters who are emotionally pensive ,restricted or devoid of feelings.

In this way the very sparse emotions the characters do show , will add a lot of weight to the actor/actress on screen.

I like Cap Moons in roles where love is denied, lost or impossible. Or they suffer tragedy but are unable to fully express grief. I also like them as villains.

Brad Pitt played a psychopath in "Kalifornia". I think that that was the only role where i could stand him. I haven't been able to stomach him in other roles since.😶

George Clooney(Cap Moon too) is another one that I just can't stand. But I liked him in "Up in the Air". He has Saturn-Moon conjunct and the film explores themes of corporate greed, alienation, infidelity, and much more.

But the dilemmas that really triggered further reflection were the film's portrayal of certain dichotomies: family versus career, love versus romance, and freedom versus commitment.

In this film, his character finds himself alienated from family because of his career (Cap Moon-Sat conj) . He also thinks he found love with a co-worker and when on the cusp of proposing,he finds out that she is just using him for "fun". That she is actually married with kids (Cap Moon-love denied).

I actually felt sorry for him at some point in the film.😶

Beyonce has Sco Moon. Not a great emotional range though-despite this placement. And that is maybe because she is super self conscious and too aware of her image to truly "let go" and have us feel that as the audience on the screen. I find that she falls flat as an actress.

She has Moon-Uranus in Scorpio conjunct. But this often quirky conjunction is interrupted by the Chiron-Moon opposition. Boom! That's why she really seems to struggle to be emotionally fluid. But instead comes across deeply technical. She is scared of being emotionally "naked".

She was not absolutely terrible in "Dreamgirls". But i think that Jennifer Hudson's "gung ho" Aries Moon approach to her role "Effy", stole the show.

Interestingly however, "Deena Jones" (Beyonce's role on Dreamgirls) wants to be free of everyone's control. Her mother's, her manager(Curtis) and all other obligatory ties to the group. She wants to follow her own path.

Beyonce wrote "Listen" because she felt that had Deena had a voice, this is what she would have said. And the lyrics speak of a girl who is continuously interrupted from having to follow her own heart. So much so that she feels she needs to break free in order to find her own voice.

This is classic Moon-Uranus conj. Feeling an unconscious need for freedom and breaking away from restrictions imposed on you by others to live more freely and authentically "you".🙏🏿

THIS 👍👍👍👍

And about Beyonce it’s so annoying that she is like that. But she is not the only Scorpio Moon in conjunction to Uranus that i have seen acts like that it’s another actress too i have seen with the same influence that acts just the same. I think Scorpio moons can have a hard time letting ‘’go’’ because they like to be in control of their emotions and emotional reactions so they try too hard sometimes to be ‘’in control’’ and ‘’unreadable’’ i also feel it gets even worse when they have some Virgo influence too which Beyonce and that other actress also have.

I did enjoy Brad in Bullet Train, but the movie was at least thirty minutes too long. I liked Lemon and Tangerine, and Brad's character just trying to chill as he did a job that wasn't supposed to involve guns.

How about directors?

Steven Spielberg always gave that Sagittarian vibe of wanting to explore the world with different themes and capture it on film.

While still having the right amount of emotion( Cancer Asc) that can connect with the viewer/audience.

I'm curious if his Cancer Asc. trines/conjuncts Tom Hanks Sun. They seam to have a good working relationship.

James Cameron is a Leo, with Mars in Sagittarius, and Moon in Pisces. He made the Terminator movies (and Sarah Connor an icon, thanks to his ex-wife Linda Hamilton: http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Linda_Hamilton Wow, she has a few placements similar to me). Her Venus was conjunct his Mercury, and more widely his Sun/Pluto.

Avatar, which now has sequels. Titanic, which I hated, because of the focus on Rose and what's his name.

http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/James_Cameron

He has Sun conjunct Pluto in Leo, and Pluto has been opposed his Uranus in Cancer, for years.

I love a lot of the movies James Cameron has made he is actually one of the best directors out there in my opinion and what an interesting chart he has, i have definitivly seen a dose of every placement of his in all those movies you mentioned.

Thank you for making this topic.

I've been liking to pay attention to what transits actors are going through when their show/movie comes out.

For example when Nicole Kidman starred in "Nine Perfect Strangers" she was a new agey/wellness healer w/ a sketchy traumatic past. Some of her methods of healing the group included having people face their fears, and waking a dummy and imagining it's someone who hurt them the most.
Chiron was conjunct her Saturn in Aries when the show aired.

Bjork had Uranus oppose her Scorpio rising when she did The Northman movie. She gave the Viking advice on how to get revenge, tell him he can't escape his fate, and gave him a rock that symbolized his last tear, that would help him on his quest.

I have enjoyed Robert Patterson's film career since Uranus has been in Taurus. I know he is at least a double Taurus.

The Lighthouse is a great film he stared in with William Dafoe. You see his Taurus nature trying to just do his job and keep a level head. His Mercury Taurus can't take it anymore and tells William Dafoe what he really thinks of him. My Mercury Taurus could so relate...like now you are going to know what I really think of you cause you are in my face and on my last nerve. He throws out some of the most epic insults I've ever seen in a movie. And like a true Taurus he does what he can to stay stable through his time there...but ends up going totally BULListic! LOL

And when he got flack for being Batman. He made a statement to the public like "If you are going to keep saying I will do a bad job as Batman, I will make sure to do a bad job on purpose."
It made my day!

I use to see him as the lame Twilight guy. I have a new level of respect for him since Uranus has been in Taurus and see him in a new light.

I’d forgotten that Spielberg was responsible for Indiana Jones, too.

Close Encounters of the third kind, is another one of my favorites, from older movies.

Sun in Sadge, conjunct Mars in cap.
Venus/Jupiter in Scorpio, trine Pisces MC.
Moon in Scorpio, too.

This is interesting thank you for reminding me of their Transits👍 I have never checked that but i can definitivly see how that can have a hand in their choice of movie roles too.
