In Synastry and in Natal?

Like in Synastry i have heard these aspects can have two people be deeply perceptive about each other and read each other well but which combo is more like this Sun-Pluto or Moon-Pluto?

And in Natal i have heard the same but who would you think is more of a perceptive individual out of Sun-Pluto or Moon-Pluto?

I'm going to say moon/Pluto

I have the conjunction with my moon less than a degree. I think it really boils down to how each luminary "acts". Your sun is your essence, how you bring forth your energy and the moon is your inner world, your emotions, your gut feelings. Pluto with your sun is more of an outside presence and a powerful force you're exerting outside of yourself into the world. Pluto with moon draws Pluto's energy inside where the moon lives in you. It's enhancing your gut feelings, your intuition. You're picking up all of those spidey senses others might miss.

Not saying sun/Pluto isn't intuitive, but moon with this aspect is manifested in a much more internal way and that's where intuition starts.

@Dons2angelss Well said and i kinda thought so myself👍

In my experience i have noticed Sun/Pluto people throw themselves into situations where they are forced to ‘’transform’’ in some way and they can be really intense people also in the women i have seen men they are drawn to might express the Plutonian qualities more than they themselves. I haven’t found them to be that intuitive to be honest but they can have an intense vibe about them.

Yep and same with Pluto on the ascendant to a lesser degree. They just have an almost intimidating (not to me I like it) presence.

I have had people tell me I have a dark vibe, but not necessarily intimidating. I think moon/Pluto people seeth and sun/Pluto ignite.

Yes 👍 They can be very similar to the Rising where they ‘’seem’’ intimidating but they aren’t necessarily so. But i feel what all of them might have in common is some issues with obsessive thinking and paranoia.

Moon is everytime.. Sun burns off. It casts light but it's so bright on top of daylight, it's less revealing than a lunar over a dark sky. Certain moons are much more powerful, not just full - if with Pluto, it might be super revealing.

My vote is moon too. At least in synastry, moon Pluto is instinct and intuition for me. When it’s Pluto sun it’s more about control and power shifts. I do not feel the intuitive connection when it’s sun Pluto, but I dream of them intuitively when it’s pluto moon.

I think the moon, but I have the trine in my natal. I only have experience with transits to my sun, no natal aspect.

I have been thinking the same. I have experienced both myself and there is definitivly a difference between the two. I also don’t find Sun/Pluto that intuitive about each other and i also find this contact very toxic and like you can’t trust the person and let your guard down fully especially with the square. It’s just power struggle upon power struggle with this contact but with Moon/Pluto i feel it can be some control issues here too but i feel it’s more deeply intuitive and a lot more non verbal understanding between the two too. Do you think it’s similar with 8th house Sun and 8th house Moon in Synastry ?

Yours is the trine, I think with a stronger aspect you'd definitely feel it.

That's a great question! I am an 8th house Sun natally, so it's not something I experience separately in synastry ... if people put planets there, I love it and am inspired to commit in some connection. But I mostly get their Sun. I have had a couple of moons and for me, I can read them emotionally quite well, but it's almost too instinctive to separate from any other thought or feeling I have.

Let's see if I can explain better- all of my long term romantic relationships are with Cancer Suns, the same sign in my 8th. I almost always pick out Cancer Sun men, unknowingly. I have dated other signs, but these are the ones that stick. I always thought maybe their Sun shone extra light on a house that was so ingrained and natural I couldn't distinguish it's gifts and lessons myself... and they helped me to fully find the meaning the lessons.

Moon was not good for me. When I had two Cancer Moon relationships, one my ex-husband, and one my platonic friend, both times it ended tumultuously with power struggles and/or deception on their part. Ultimately it led to distrust and hurt.

Haven't had any relationships with other personal planets in my 8th house.

Interesting. Did you feel understood by them too ?
I have experience with Moon in the 8th i have this with a friend of mine it’s my Moon in her 8th and she admitted once that it was no point in lying to me because she feels i see right through her and sometimes she gets freaked out by my insights of her. She feels very ‘’seen’’ by me and it’s very easy for me to see when she is trying to hide something and intuitivly figure out what that might be. I have always intuitivly known what she feels and thinks sometimes to my own detriment this is esp hard when she is going through a hard time. I also feel the Moon also knows the ‘’why’s’’ behind the 8th house person’s thoughts and feelings and why they feel the way they do, sometimes even more so then they themselves do. This house and the 12th house has been one of the most intuitive overlays i have ever experienced and sometimes i feel the Planet person gets too much ‘’access’’ to the house person’s inner life to a point where it can feel kinda overwhelming for the planet person. But i feel it really depends what Moon sign a person has to get to this ‘’overwhelming’’ level like with me i think i am by nature very sensitive and do have some empathic abilities and i have a 12th house Cancer Moon with a Moon/Neptune aspect too so when one of my personal planets lands in another person’s Water houses esp the 12th or 8th house this gets supercharged and i almost feel at one with the person. I pick up on the most smallest subtle things they do to literally feeling their thoughts and feelings from miles away.

I think you're right! They both understood me very well. My ex-husband though ultimately used it against me. During the marriage he was kind and supportive, but it turned out he was hiding his real self the whole time. It didn't feel like he was maliciously hiding, just that he knew what I needed to see and what he needed to do to keep the relationship going, despite him having a whole other side to him the whole time.

The friend, she knew me pretty well but also took a lot of things for granted, expecting she knew me and what my response would be to something, only to learn it was the complete opposite. Her Pluto squared my Sun though, so there it comes back to power issues.

As Cancer is my 8th, it makes sense that the Moon in Cancer would be supercharged and able to read me. I didn't feel I could read them, and obviously couldn't with my ex. Or I chose to bury and deny my instincts. Who knows?

Did you and your ex husband have hard aspects with Neptune in Synastry or the Composite chart and if so which planet were you in Synastry ? It sounds like some harsh Neptune aspects were involved in your relationship. Also did you feel the Moon in the 8th were more of an intuitive contact where you felt understood than Sun in the 8th house or do you feel the same? Was their any difference between the two just like Sun/Pluto and Moon/Pluto?

You’re good Sleepy! Yes, my ex husband’s Neptune was in my 12th and in exact square to my mercury. Lies lies and more lies. 🙄

I suppose you could say there was a better emotional connection with their moon in my 8th as opposed to sun? My ex husband had his sun, moon, and mercury there. My friend had her moon and maybe Venus there.

Sun-Pluto is more oriented to will power, push, ambition, depth. There is creative power associated with it, but there is an inside-out push, results oriented.

Moon-Pluto is more internally aware and perceptive, more feelings oriented. So it is more aligned with intuition by the very nature of the Moon.

Haha i had a feeling when you said he was ‘’hiding’’ his true self that Neptune might have been doing something not so nice in your Synastry. Ugh Neptune esp opposition and squares can be awful sorry you went through that. But i have also heard the 8th house person might find the planet person hard to read too because they might find them mysterious so it might have been a combination of that Neptune square with his planets in your 8th that you didn’t ‘’see’’ him so well.

Definitely moon Pluto. I have a very tight square and a strong intuition although I sometimes tend to catastrophize
