Specifically men.. Venus.. Mars ? Maybe Venus aspecting sun or moon.. possibly jupiter? Maybe Neptune? Water placements?
I know what people deem romantic is relative but I'm talking like nice gestures.. buying flowers.. I've never received flowers from a man before .. remembering anniversaries.. candle lit dinners.. all that sappy stuff

I have a Libra stellium friend who is into that(Libra Moon, Mercury & Venus). He loves doing that for his partner. I think Lobra placements (because of the Venus influence) like romance.

Libra (I believe) is still the type that will want to be the "girl/boyfriend" even after you two are married. The spark of romance must still be there.

If you watch "Hote Rwanda ", you'll see what i mean. The man (I assume Libra strong placements) still romances his wife by preparing a romantic setting on the rooftop of the hotel all whilst there is all the chaos and mayhem of what's happening swirling around them.

Taurus can be romantic too. But not in the same way. For Taurus, "romamce" could be enjoying the simple things of life together i.e. long walks in the park, an intimate time at the pool, laying together in a hammock on a breezy etc.

Taurus is not about the "set-up" really. For them, romance doesn't need specific lighting and atmosphere. It can be doing anything together and anywhere. There js an emphasis on physical touching and affection more than champagne and caviar

All in all however, Venus ruled people i.e. Venus in the angular houses or in aspect to Sun/Moon or close in orb to the Nodes etc could be into making you feel loved and appreciated. This as much as they want to feel loved and appreciated.

Moon may show gestures of love and appreciation. But its not necessarily going to progress to it being sexual. With Venus however, i feel like it can be the foreplay to get there.

If you’re looking for soft and mushy romance, you need soft and mushy planets. 😁

Someone with Moon, Venus and Neptune prominent and in aspect with each other, would probably be a romantic person. This would also be reflected in the signs ruled by these planets: Cancer, Libra, Taurus and Pisces.

. A connection between Neptune, pisces is a powerful one. My Neptune dances in the 12/1 and my NN lives in pisces.. on the 3d plane I'm a hopeless romantic. Venus in moon decan 3rd, brings this into existence like a fantasy filled dreamer. Trust me, no one wants to live my romantic aspects..

I haven't received flowers, either, and I wonder if part of that is the PUA stuff that was popular, back in 2006-2010. Pick-up artist BS, for those who don't know what PUA stands for.

My dad bought mum flowers. She appreciated the thought, but didn't like that they died after a while. Dad has Venus in Pisces, Sun/Moon in Taurus, Mars/Mercury in Aries. He bought me flowers once, when he bought mum some red roses, and I realized I'd never received any. He surprised me with some white roses. That was sweet, but it's different coming from your dad.

Not an astrological answer but I am not sure if you were like me. But I once was quiet about wanting these gestures.

Start believing you deserve those romantic gesture. Make it known if you have to (normalize it). Buy yourself flowers, go on nice din din. Even if by yourself or with friends. It's a win-win. Make it a part of your life that you subconsciously attract romcom men.

If a guy gives me coupons over flowers, I tell them it won't work out.

Your dad sounds very kind. Perhaps Venus in Pisces?

Romantic to others; Amor and Valentine asteroids!

Romantic to the self; Aphrodite, Venus and Vesta!

Special romantic vibes that trump a LOT of other elements; CASANOVA asteroid! This could just be because it's a hot placement in my chart, but it's romance-defining for me.

Yes Venus makes 3 aspects.. Square Saturn, and trine neptune and uranus.

Believe or not Sun and Moon are conjunct his descendant lol .. though with Sun in the 6th and Moon in the 7th

But anyway.. noooo romance. Never got birthday gifts, not even flowers when our daughter was born. His marriage proposal was awkward lol .. criticised me alot (sun, moon, merc and mars in virgo ha)

I've never thought to consider the asteriods..!
I checked Amor, Valentine and Casanova on ex husbands chart and yes, not much action there.. Casanova is unaspected too..

Some people just show their love in other ways and thats Ok but I guess I just want to experience the mush atleast once hahaha

It's my venus neptune conjunction hahha

As a single mum, that's 90% of men already not interested. I can try to believe and manifest all i want but my options are too limited to think it could ever be a reality

Moon, the most libidinous planet, mythologically has 27 wives
Romantic would be Moon in 1st, 2nd or 7th

I would say : in one's chart :
Venus aspecting Neptune makes romantic
Venus in Taurus likes love relationships and is affectionate but isn't necessarily romantic
Venus en Aries doesn't seem romantic
Sun in Pisces with Venus in Taurus can be romantic
hard aspects to Neptune may make someone romantic (I'm not sure)
Saturn in 5th house doesn't
Neptune in 5th yes

What do you mean by "romantic to others" and "to the self" ? what's the difference ?
