This could be a book, video, or anything else. Post your Moon Sign. I'm curious if there will be similarities based on the Moon.Caps are notoriously known to be cold, uncaring, and money centered. Nothing could be farther from the truth. As a Cappy Moon, I chose law not for the money or the prestige, but I wanted to be able to help people, to fight bullies, and to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. The following super short video first motivated me in written form, and I hope it moves you as much as it continues to move me to this day.

~NATURE

My mum would tell me that I needed to go to sleep, or Jiminy would tell Santa. He was supposedly keeping an eye on us. I didn't believe her for a second, and would call out to mum, "Is Jiminy Cricket still outside?" "Yes he is, now go to sleep!"  Comfort, security, for me, and others. I would love for joy to be a motivator again. Sun in the 6th, in Aries.

Comfort. Will this situation, job, couch, personal, place, animal, literally everything and anything make me comfortable? I don't care about having a lot of money or materials, as long as I am comfortable and have my necessities I'm good. Happy as a clam in the bay. When I am not comfortable, I can get extremely dark but it's there that I hatch new ideas on how to remedy the situation. I need my dark times to think up new ways to get what I want but still be comfortable getting it. I do extend my need for comfort onto others too. My children obviously are number 1 so I try to always make our home life comfortable including emotionally but I will push them past that so they're able to handle NOT being comfortable all of the time. It's good to know how to be comfortable in your own skin before you go out into the world. That would be my 2nd motivation, to accept myself and learn as much as possible about me. I take into great consideration how something will affect or hinder me vs what I'll learn from it before I act on it. Going over multiple possibilities in my head just in case, to prepare myself. Virgo Moon (ruler of 10th house) in 11th houseI’m also not driven by money or prestige, I feel the strong need to make a contribution to society. I work for the national government in my country and I find accountability and transparency very important. We’re using the money provided by tax payers to benefit all people in our country. There’s a lot of money involved and it’s a big responsibility. I work with structure and logic to make sure we’re using the resources of our community in the best way possible. There need to be tangible improvements that we can show our tax payers. At the moment I’m involved with mobility and infrastructure. It can be very complicated due to rules, guidelines and all the different parties involved, but it’s very satisfying when it all comes together and we can actually set something into motion.

moon square Neptune Currently I'm a Software Developer, what motivates me is to explore, learn and create new things. The one thing I can't stand is when I get reassigned to new projects. They always start off with "X has X yrs of experience and is an expert in yadddada" You go back and say what to do you mean i'm an expert, I just started? What there really saying is the other guy quit and now your responsible for all the mess left over since that person left, lol. But in all truth i'm sorta getting bored of my job thought. Everyone has this illusion that Software Dev. and IT is all so wonderful. Some of us will do exciting things the majority of us will end up doing the less glamorous maintenance side of tech.
All three of my moon aspects I mentioned above have come out in strange ways.
In my last project i'd normally sit quietly listening in the meeting...thinking should I say something? . I'd get tickets to add in new features but
I'm thinking this is obviously outdated, Modern applications now use APIs to communicate data..here there still using SQL messaging. The people on the Business end clearly don't know any better and i'm in no position to challenge them (Moon square Mars). If you stick with a tech like this and the company goes under no one is going to hire you because this is all wrong. I figured, I'm here until X amount of time then I go back to another client. So just give them what they want, make sure your paid and then never ever go back to them!!!. My moon trine Uranus and moon square Neptune have really come out when we'd use get those emergency calls on teams. I'd answer quickly, start resolving bugs and become really involved with things. So yes, it's a battle of should I say something...or hold back. My Planets

Just the other day I realized that I don't fight for myself as much as i fight for the people I love. I am most motivated when I am stimulated to care for something or someone. I don't like seeing people suffer/in pain etc.But i think it hits even harder when its closer to home. A friend revealed to me that a long time ago he was out of work, out of home, out of a car and out of options. That it was the lowest point of his life and at some point, he even went days without eatingg. Hoding his hunger in by drinking water🙆🏿♂️ Can you imagine? I asked him where i was at when all of this was happening to him. And he said that that happened before he met me I think Moon in Cancer loves through providing things that the body ssociates with being nurtured, comforted & care i.e. food, board and tea & sympathy etc. I am motivated by care to act. I have Libra Mars too. So i think that adds to it too. IP: Logged |

The video:  Great idea! There are many things, so I'll keep this short. All of these have a correlation with aspects rather than sign. Persons, Places, Things The person who brought me the most inspiring friendship of my life, although the relationship can't adequately be defined as any one thing. Also, a great motivator. Composers and poets, whose works are still being heard and read centuries after their passing. The Masters of Wisdom, who out of compassion remain on this earth to advance the spiritual evolution of human beings. Places: Wild, pristine places inspire a romantic feeling. May be Uranus conjunct Moon. Arunachala, a mountain in South India. Local people regard it as a physical form of Deity. A great sage who lived there during the first half of the 20th century regarded it as the center of the world. Things: Books: Music: Its Secret Influence Throughout the Ages. It inspired me to write an article that was shared with the world, thanks to Mountain Astrologer magazine. Music and the Soul. It motivated me to give a workshop based on the material in this book. Neptune in the 3H, ruler of the North Node in Pisces in the 8H All of Alice Bailey’s books. My lifetime interest in astrology began with her Esoteric Astrology. Uranus conjunct Moon. The video makes its point very well.I was born when Moon was in Capricorn. My motivation is similar. I want to help people heal. That's been my main motive since about age 20. At that time I especially wanted to help people overcome depression and loneliness. Later my course changed from wanting to become a Primal therapist to learning herbal medicine and being an herbalist. Astrology is a lot about knowing ourselves and growing spiritually and psychologically, so that was an easy addition (especially since I've done it in other lifetimes). ------------------

I'm a Taurus moon in the 2nd house. What motivates me is food and money. My dream is to have a nice house with a big kitchen where I can cook for a huge family. I also want a garden in the backyard so my produce can be fresh. But I would also love to make a living from selling the produce and helping people with their finances.
