@Kannon. This is the most vivacious i have ever heard you sound Kannon. 🤣 Or at least that is how it comes off on my end.Personally, i find the "boring" nature of Taurus soothing. Maybe because there have been so many upheavals in my life? Things that were reversed and found to not be what was initially assumed they would be? As such, i don't need more drama. It could be my Sco placements in 8th that are talking. I appreciate the calm that Taurus energy brings. I have this belief that whenever things in one's life become difficult to manage i.e. the chaos, the changes, the losses etc. One comes into contact with a Taurus energy individual during such tribulations.

As Taurus energy blessed people, do you find that you have a tendency towards over or undereating?IP: Logged |

I have a sweet tooth but I don’t overeat. Maybe it’s my Virgo Moon but I really don’t like the feeling of a heavy stomach. If I feel full, I’ll stop eating. I don’t like to eat alone but I know it’s unhealthy to not eat at least three meals and some vegetables, so unless I’m really sick, I don’t skip meals either.

Well, when I talk about nature, Oregon or the coast or places I've been here that's how I feel. I feel more excited, more alive. I could really be happy living in a small town or rural area now. Things have gotten really bad in Portland, but we're still here for now. quote:

Yes, I can totally understand that. I don't consider Taurus to be boring, but some Taureans seem to have more of it than others, and we are prone to so much stability it can turn to stagnation and lack of a spirit of adventure. With Mars exactly trine Uranus in my birth chart, I do know how to break out of that when it really matters. We truly enjoy the ordinary things in life others can take for granted. Just spending time with some tall fir trees grounds and elevates me in ways that are sometimes too profound for words. quote:

I can see how that could be true for a lot of people. ------------------

Taurus sun and venus and I must say, I'm probably the most boring person I know but I quite like it that way. I just don't really care about a lot of things. I'm such a bleh, whatever kind of person on the outside. I have very few things in my life that actually brought out any passion in me. I don't like food like I hear a lot of people say about Taurus. I don't think I'm sensual, seriously please don't feckin touch me. I like my space and I need a lot of it, omg I'd lose my mind if people were to crowd me...I bite 🤷♀️. The only, and I mean only, exception to any of these are my children. I lay down any part of me that would interfere with their well-being. I hug them and kiss them, feed them and laugh with them. They're the only people who get me out of my shell to live in this world. I honestly don't really connect with Taurus. Probably because it's my 12th house. I'm much more of a Mercury Aries person on the outside. My mother and grandmother were both Taurus sun's and my grandmother is exactly what you described. My mother not so much. My children's father is also a taurus sun and he is definitely a creature of comforts, lazy af too. I always tell him he's going to grow moss one day. I've been around many many taurus suns and it always surprises me when I find out they're a taurus, I'm very out of touch with this sign but I love how you describe it lol! IP: Logged |

Yeah. It sounds like there is a lot more going on in your chart to negate the Taurus qualities spoken of.Sun/Venus conj in Taurus in house 12, would make you more "distant" from yourself. I often find Sun in 12th/Neptune conj Sun often don't like to be boxed or put into a category. There is a tendency for these personalities to avoid any label that is definitive or finite. Maybe because they feel themselves changing often? But there is an overarching resistance to being labelled one way or the other. IP: Logged |

Same. I find them calming and soothing. I'm a nervous and hectic type with an overactive imagination and Taurus energy helps me calm down and ground. Also, after having so many hard times in my life, having a Taurus close to me now feels like a vacation (well mostly ). I feel their energy brings enjoyment and a hint of sensous decadence even to the most mundane of situations. IP: Logged |

I do know another Taurus person and she is phenomenal, but I never got to know her that well and lost touch with her. She seemed more like her Leo rising on the outside. ------------------

Indeed. Attended a party this past weekend. And there was a lady there who reminded me of this "fixed" energy of Taurus. She sat on a chair when we first arrived. And never moved from it throughout the party's progression. She was talking with guests, listening and bumping to music. All on that chair. But even when others moved around in the party circulating with each other. She stayed put. Unbothered. I think Taurus has this inertia i.e. this attitude of continuing in its state of rest for a long period of time. This "i aint moving" default stance it takes (this especially on Mars or the Asc) even if there is an emergency or when it's required to move. The "shakeup" feels more like an inconvenience-as its jarring for them in essence. Even when its for their own good. Like a car coming. And they are not crossing the street fast enough. The Taurus will be like "they see me"(referring to the driver). And refusing to up the pace. As being rushed is Taurus' pet peeve. Could this be why weight gain is easy ? Venus rules the solar Libra 6th house. And if the 6th house is about routine, Taurus isn't about doing anything too strenuous on a daily basis (unless Mars /Saturn/Pluto is there). Aries (as Linda once wrote) may rebel or openly confront. But Taurus just stays put and resists. IP: Logged |

I think Jack Nicholson, Al Pàcino, Jessica Lange all have Leo Asc /Sun Taurus. And there is so much vivacity in their external personas that one can often forget that they have the Sun in Taurus. I have often thought that both Jack and Al tend to "make" their characters fit them. And not the other way around. It's like their characters are designed for their personalities. Whilst they are themselves whilst portraying them (if that makes sense). Jessica Alba also has Leo Asc, Sun in Taurus. But she doesn't come across quite as strong as the 3 above listed. Is it because the Moon is in the 7th in her case. Creating a sort of shy persona and too much self consciousness? Al has Ven/Mars conj in Gemini-making him come across as very charismatic with words. I have seen it in his movies. And the added opposition of Moon in Sag/ Jupiter in Aries/Mc trine adds confidence to his public persona Jack has Moon/Merc/Jupi grand time in earth. Great common sense. But its the Venus/Mc conj in Aries that we see as the public. Thats how he appears so spirited in his roles. George Carlin is another one that was just fire!! He has an intellectual mind(Moon in Gemini) and didn't skirt away from expressing his opinions (especially on religion)Mars &North node in Sag. I often find that Sag/9th house placemnets are either FOR religion or AGAINST it. There is usually no middle ground. And Carlin has Aries on his 9th house(Venus there squaring Plu) and i think he liked to poke around there for reactions to his views. Busta Rhymes is another Leo Asc with Taurus Sun. I have always found him very flamboyant lol. He also used to cross-dress in his videos or do gender-benders (which is more Aquarian in nature ime) Busta has Venus/Mars conj in Can square Ura(affiliated with Aqu).Ura/Aqu usually bring an element of eccentricity in everything they touch. And at the time, i thought he was a "stand alone" hip hop artist who was not morbid or dark like the others of the time. His dress and style were just so "off the wall"👌🏿 Other notable mentions of Taurus Sun, Leo Asc My sister Ella Fitzgerald James Brown IP: Logged |

I wanted to ask this question with regards to the Moon being in Taurus. Would it be fair to say that one tends towards being impassive when it comes to feeling and expressing emotions with this position? Similar to Cap?IP: Logged |

Absolutely true. My bf is like that. He has absolutely no problem lying in bed all day and not move at all. (and do something on his laptop). I have moved around a million times until he gets up and let's say goes to the bathroom. I feel annoyed if I don't move. He is perfectly content NOT moving. It boggles my mind. IP: Logged |

I know one person with this placement and she was very forward with her feelings. She was a bit like a hunter when she liked a guy. She just went for it. IP: Logged |

I think its that "conserve energy" stuff. Aries will expel energy. Taurus( on the other hand) retains it. They only use it when its absolutely necessary. And even then, its likely through a task that requires a build up of momentum i.e. running a marathon - where the enegy levels need to be steady and consistent to win the race. That is also where the infamous Taurus temper comes in i.e.Because they have stayed in such a stationary state for so long. The momentum can build up over a long period of time until the final burst is tension that lasts for a long time too. Anger can literally make the Taurus ill. Either the suppression of it or the inability to express sufficiently and then going overboard by being the bull in a china shop. IP: Logged |

I strongly suspect that either her Moon is in aspect to an impatient planet (like Mars or Uranus) or there is an angular planet that eclipses the Taurus Moon. IP: Logged |

Haha that's what I tell him all the time "are you conserving your energy again"? I feel they are similar with money. They don't tend to squander: not their energy and not their money. They have a good sense of worth and value of things and their own life force. Also about Aries: yep. That is exactly like my dad (4 planets in Aries) and me, too although I'm a toned down version and have no planets in Aries but aspects that indicate a similar expression of energy. IP: Logged |
