Does astrology determine the way we look? I know that genetics does but I think that astrology does as well.

I think so.

I notice (for instance) certain "looks" that pertain to Taurus, Leo and Gemini.

I am not going to describe each because before you know it, the peanut gallery will come with "I have X in my chart. And so do 10 000 family members. None of them are A...B...C".

Sometimes i just 🤫 and keep it moving. But i do notice the patterns. And they are there. This so much so that I will even ask someone "Are you Taurus?" . Then i will find that if its not their Sun, its their Moon/Venus or Mars.

If you look.at celebrities online. You will find these consistencies too.🙏🏿

This peanut has been too busy dealing with soul-crushing depression to care. I also know that you're just sharing your own experiences.

I can usually pick out a Taurus.

Taurus must be an easy sign to identify.

No. It's a chicken-or-the-egg question. The question reflects a misunderstanding of planets/astrology as causative, rather than reflective of the soul in development in a synchronistic way.

Instead, there are patterns associated with astrological rising signs in the birth chart. You will resemble your parents and siblings more than you do others with the same rising sign/astrological factors. Astrology is subtle, not pronounced. It is background, not foreground. So the physical qualities are detectable, but subtle.

I often can tell Taurus easily too. Lately however, its also been fixed signs. Either Sun/Moon or Ascendant.

Race doesn't seem to matter. The consistencies are still there. But I always observe family members in my analysis. Those of friends or acquaintances.

In those I notice that the Venus heavy individual/s ìn the family (Tau/Lib Asc/Moon/Sun) will usually be the one blessed with clear skin, good looks or a general amiable counternance that makes them considered by most "the pretty/good-looking" one.

Even if they are not necessarily good looking, Jupiter/Venus are benefic. So there may also be fat distributed over the face or body -giving them "soft cushion" vibes. There is usually a lack of angularity in the face or the body has a tendency of retaining fat easily. So therr may be weight issues.

Darker features tend towards Sco/Cap. Cap/ Sat ruled family members especially may have an overbite or some bony appearance in the face.

If they are good-looking, there is a "sharpness" about their looks that is often striking and/or uncomfortable. Not comforting.

Saturn and Mars tends towards boundaries ans borders. So they may look "mean" or be deemed "unfriendly" because if the lack of expression on their face

There is a tendency towards dry or problematic skin. So there could also be some sort of skin condition like eczema etc. Age is usually kind to these folks so they do get to be better looking with time. They also smile more.

They are often called "the serious / down to earth" one. People lean on them and have expectations of "success". And so they often feel like they are under pressure to progress in life. And this tendency for discipline, structure and order, is characterized by them keeping a slim/ trim physique throughout their lives. More so than their family members.

Apart from the weight evenly distributed, Jupiter (Sag/Pisc) have a sort of "foreigner" look about them ij the family. Like they have features only exclusive to them.

I don't know how many I have met with Jupiter strong who are from an interracial or intercultural family. Thus giving them looks that seem "other" from their lineage .

Also, they can either be tall/ "big boned" or both. I actually have a friend who fits this description. And he is the tallest and biggest in his family. Jupiter-Sat are opposite in fixed signs Leo-Aqua respectively and both square his Sun in Taurus in his 1st house (Asc Tau). He is mistaken for a Nigerian a lot.

Saturn gives bone issues( which he has). And he also has issues with dry skin. Ao he uses special lotions.

I am getting better the more i observe.🤔

Sure! I think in the age we've been through with plastic surgery being majorly on the rise (not just major, but the minor things like body modifications have also become very commonplace), makes for all manner of appearance shifting. But also, all charts progress, so there's that to take into account.

Personally, I have been curious about it in myself, as I have Moon, Neptune and Uranus square my ASC, as well as an opposition from Ceres.

And, maybe on the nose here, Mars (chart ruler) is inconjunct Venus (dominant planet). I have a very chameleon like, androgynous OR hyper masculine/hyper feminine appearance. And that's essentially what all those aspects tell for me personally.

I've seen people with planets conjunct the MC that do very much embody those traits visually! Especially from the MC, as it will most often square the ascendant, creating a contrasting, often intense sort of visage.
