i have mercury in pisces in the 12th conjunct saturn and opposite chiron
its the weakest planet in my chart
whenever i am around people my mind goes blank
i can never think of anything to say
i literally make people incredibly uncomfortable with my silence and i don't even like it im the quietest person i know and it has been a source of pain in my life ( hence chiron i guess) IP: Logged |

I have Pisces mercury in 3rd. I dunno if it’s rare for me to initiate conversation. I think it’s situation specific. I become more talkative around a select few and when I feel like talking about a specific topic that’s currently on my mind. I’m fine just being a listener. One of my best friends has Mercury in Pisces and it's not hard for him to initiate conversations. He may appear a little shy in the beginning and lost in his thoughts, but he is one of the most social people I know and people love him.
Mercury in 6th, opposite Jupiter+Mars. Uranus and Neptune in 3rd house.IP: Logged |

When Mercury is in aspect to Mars, it won't be. Nor will that be the case if Mercury is part of a midpoint that involves MarsIP: Logged |

Nope! 😬 Not at all. I did grew up in a family household that did not value talking/communicating. No greetings or for the sake of talking to connect, only out of manners. It's not until I started working I taught myself to socialize and talk to others and make small talks. I was a loner most of my life with few friends. My mercury is in 10H. Maybe that kind of explain the delay of speaking? Initiating isn't hard, it's having extensive conversation that involves staying on one topic at a lengthy time or high focus such as meetings.My Mercury also square Uranus and Jupiter widely conjunct Mercury. For the midpoint lovers:
Venus/Mercury MP conjunct Sun & square Neptune

mercury is conjunct saturn by 6 degrees, and opposite chiron by 0 degrees.
gemini rules my third house but theres nothing in it....

I have a friend who has Pisces mercury and she is far from quiet. It's her only water planet, so perhaps that is it.Opposite Pluto, semi square Mars- I am sure those two things play a role. She is known for being very blunt and manages to get away with saying things no one else can say... she makes people mad, but she says things no one else does. She is more reactive than contemplative. There is a lot of Aries happening in her chart though. IP: Logged |
