These two are prominent in my chart, but in ways I have yet to be able to wrap myself around in my years of studying astrology (since '14) ... Chariklo is sat right on my Cancer IC, while Cancer Chiron sits right next to my Leo South Node. Out of side conjunction, but only by 2 degrees. Chiron and Chariklo are not conjunct, but they bookend my 4th house of Cancer. My query for Todd is that I've been reading your posts about the Node of the Moon, and theres been so much back and forth whether Chiron is significant. I feel it absolutely is, but it does make it hard to see outside of it. Do you have insight to this blend? In mundane experiences, I can say that Chiron does indeed reflect in my life. Both in the painful and radically healing elements, but even that is tricky to explain. To LindaLand patrons with Chiron contacts, do you have experiences in your life as well? The abstract feeling of it, too? -R IP: Logged |

I have Chiron conjunct my Sun and Ceres, Mercury widely. It seems like it's more pain, and less magical healing. There are people who think Chiron + Sun means a horrible father, but my dad and I mostly get along. I have a roof over my head, because of him. He is the one person that I have in my life, and we've had our issues, but he is really good to me. I don't know what Chariklo is. I have it at 11*Aries, trine Neptune, square Saturn in the 9th by two degrees. It's also in my 6th. IP: Logged |

I dunno about pain- I mean yes, but also where we are capable of fully healing and being deeply aware of that area. I'm not a fan of sun = father, wildly too patriarchal for my lilith sensibilities. It's more about where we see the most, where we gain the most awareness because it's what is literally lit up. Tbh having a nice relationship with your father is more what that could mean- in a way, sounds much better than the centuries of patriarchal domination and ****** fathers. Chariklo was Chiron's wife. Also a healer, as far as I know, but less known/outwardly heralded as Chiron. (but again, patriarchal translations of older times in history that may not have been AS patriarchal as we are now. She was also a centaur, I believe.
