Well aspected Taurus Moon conjunct Midheaven in natal chart. Would this indicate a career or destiny tied to nurturing? Trying to understand this particular aspect.

Mc/Ic relates to status change. Since Ic/Mc is joined and cannot be divided, the only true status changes in our lives are those that affect us from the core level(Ic).

This could be career changes(Mc) that require us to get out of comfort zones(Ic).Leadership changes(Mc) that affect our sense of safety(Ic). Or external changes (Mc) that shake our core(Ic).

This could include a death circumstance in the family, a move, a job demotion/promotion, a birth etc.

Moon on the Mc suggests that security is tied up with what you consider "success" or "self actualization".

Moon being in Taurus increases this need for consistency, steadiness and longevity. These are sweet words for Tau. And the moon is exalted here ( which means they are of high priority).

So think about it this way.Whenever there is a transit to the Moon, it will change/affect the areas of your life which are of the highest priority. This for better or worse.

Which priorities? Look at where Cancer is. That house has themes that are tied into those priorities. When the transit hits the Moon, that area of lis also jointly affected.

For example, if Moom rules the 12thhouse (using whole sign) and Asc Leo. The transit of Uranus on your Moon in Tau on the Mc, may suggest that there are changes afoot that will destabilize (Ura)your sense of security (Tau) in a very personal way(Moon).

This could be related to the loss of a job or steady income(12)? Maybe a situation where you were hoodwinked and lost a lot of money?Maybe where there will be a lot of traveling around to foreign places(12th) where you get a culture shock or are uncomfortable? Maybe an illness gets you into a hospital where you have to recuperate (12th) and the conditions there are unfavourable? Maybe a source of your security(Moon Taurus) is disrupted and is now inaccessible or lost(12th)? This could be a parent/child/marriage situation etc.

I actually know someome with Moon in Cancer in 12th house whom experienced someone they care about (Moon) moving oceans away from them(12th) when the transit of Uranus Aries to their moon hit. It was a sudden but necessary occurrence for that person. But the abrupt nature of the move was very jarring for them.

Since Moon is exalted and rules the 12th, all the losses that you have in any difficult transits, are for the better. Like when you are sad about losing a person and later you find out that it was for the better because they were not good for you. Or life protecting you by removing something from your life.

But I saw in another post of yours that you are a Virgo ASC and this doesn't apply to you because Moon rules your 11th house.

The basic thing that is knowable about Moon up at the MC is that the person's internal emotional awareness is placed in the context of the larger world (rather than the personal/home life). This means it can be harder for them to be clear about their own needs and feelings because they are tuned in to what is going on 'out there.'

So they may be well equipped for responding well to others. Moon in the sign of Taurus is certainly more steady, even, and interested in the comfort or pleasure that can be given to others. So it may be one piece of a possible picture of a caregiver of some kind or another.

In terms of sky position, Moon functions best below the horizon. In terms of house, best in the 4th. That's where it gains in strength.

When Moon is so far up high, there tends to be an increase in personal emotional confusion or uncertainties unless there are other factors that further stabilize and strengthen it. The person tends to seek inner validation from (or overreacts to) the larger world, which cannot be given on a personal level by those in the working environment (or educational/travel, etc, if Moon in 9th). This puts the self-esteem into potential jeopardy, depending on how the person handles it and keeps re-centering themselves in how they live in their private life.
