I had a couple of articles left open in my browser, but I've just found out that a childhood friend, who was close to us, and especially my mum, died a few days ago. Why? I'm waiting to find out. I'd known him since I was thirteen.

This is a link to his chart, without a birth time. Excuse me whilst I go and scream forever.

Hi Teasel, my condolences on the loss of your friend. This sounds like a tough time.

I noticed your friend has a Capricorn Moon in the final degrees. The Pluto transit of these degrees has been long and indicates your friend probably had a lot emotional turbulence in his life during this period.

There has also been a long transit of Mars (including retrograde) through the sign of Gemini, where your friend has a stellium of Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. That might have been difficult as well. Especially with the wide natal conjunction of Venus and Saturn. It’s a difficult aspect to have in your natal chart and it has been triggered by transit Mars for a long period. And now, his stellium is slowly forming a square with transit Saturn in Pisces, starting with his Sun.

Transit Uranus has been around the 15 to 20 degrees Taurus for some time too, conjunct the MC of your friend.

He had a lot going on with transits and not the easiest planets: Pluto, Mars, Saturn and Uranus. And in addition, the new Moon in his 8th house opposite natal Pluto.

So sorry for your loss, a big hug from me. ❤️
