Did anybody recently experience transiting Uranus conjunct their MC in Taurus? Or if not in Taurus, then in any other sign? I only found one short, very old thread about it. I'd love to hear your stories!

I'll have the first Uranus conj MC next month. It will be stationary retrograde/direct on my MC later this year. I have an idea of what it all means... but it's still fun and helpful to hear other people's stories and thoughts. Last summer it came 1* close to MC before turning retrograde (along with transit NN and Mars - that crazy triple conjunction in the summer 2022). All I can say it turned my world upside down. I "crashed" after that, Uranus retro, tough squares etc. I think that near conjunction was just a taste of what might come. Now that other challenging transits are over, and Uranus is direct, I hope it will be good and not too stressful.

I’ll also add that the near conjunction last summer didn’t have much to do with my work. I was on a long trip overseas and felt like I was on the top of the world - literally. Uranus rules my 7th so I hope this could potentially bring someone significant to my life. I have a lot of freedom in my work already but I wouldn’t mind changes. I just hope it won’t be too stressful. Thinking if I should go back overseas again and see what happens… it feels like unfinished business 🤷‍♀️ Opinions are welcome 😊

Saturn rules my Mc. Saturn is in Sco 13. Uranus has some influence too.

When transit Jupiter Pisces was on natal Uranus by square last year , my workplace underwent a reconstruction. We had to be temporarily housed elsewhere (for 5 months).

Now that trans Ura is on Sat by opp, its been a roller coaster ride since I started the new job. There is a lot that suddenly changes in this job. Its very much "lets make plan b, c, d and e" etc.

I think Uranus transiting the Mc tends to have a "be ready for anything" effect on the career. One learns to be more flexible. And that flexibility becomes part and parcel of their reputation or elevated image(Mc).

Thank you for sharing your experience Aries23Degrees! It sounds like your MC is in Capricorn so you already had or will have a nice trine from transiting Uranus.

Right, it's impossible to tell what might happen with Uranus transits! It never fails to surprise you. I have a very strong Uranus in my natal chart (Aqua Sun), and so far the effects of transits, or at least conjunctions have always been positive - and significant. It just finished transiting my Chiron (apex), Moon, Venus T-square which put my nervous system into total overdrive. So now I just pray for a bit less stress

My mc is 24deg, so it will come close in August. But most of the impact is in 2024.

Yes, Uranus is now 20 minutes pass my MC. It's all good for now! I've accumulated some fear and anxiety after 2 years of other transiting Uranus squares so I am very cautious now, suspicious even of good things as if everything could change in a split second. But things are good.

Anyway, I am sure there are good stories out there about this transit! It's just that I find mostly the rough ones online. In my case, I will finally see two products at work that I've worked on going into production, and the development of my favorite one brought back from the backburner after many years. So I think work is good - I'd say it's pretty Uranian/Taurean in nature. In addition, I found a way to spend up to half of my time overseas on a budget. That's a huge one! Something that I've been trying to figure out for a while. We shall see how things go... this is a long transit

Oh thats great news! Congratulations! What industry are you in? I've been hoping to work in a job that allows me to travel frequently, but recently landed in the railway sector which allows some travelling but not jet-setter consultant lifestyle.

While Uranus is conjunct my midheaven, it will also be squaring my moon in aquarius. I'm not loving the city I live in atm, but my boyfriend has family here and it may be possible that we reach a breaking point and I decide to move to another continent in search of freedom. But his sun is conjunct my moon, so perhaps its an upheaval for both of us. We are, however, looking for a new flat to move in this summer. Meanwhile pluto is also transiting conjunct my 6h mercury which rules my 2h--so work kills me leaving me broke AF while uranus is the push to leave my job?seems there's a few conflicting themes here

Wow, it sounds like it could be quite a ride for you! With Uranus square Moon, the theme of some kind of disruptions in regards to “home” is definitely present. Interesting that you are looking for a new place together with your boyfriend this summer when the transit is about to happen. It’s a challenging transit but strong relationships survive all kinds of challenges. I just went through Uranus square Moon (Moon is kind of square MC, but the orb is 6* so I don’t ever consider it). My long term relationship ended at that time. His Mars was on my Moon so Uranus was squaring his Mars as well. I traveled for a year after that - the whole duration of the transit.

To answer your question, I am an engineer (Uranus) but work in the music domain (Venus). To clarify, the fact that I can now travel is definitely not a jetsetter lifestyle - it’s a search for “home” (MC/IC axis, Uranus in 4th natally) and not easy at all because nowhere feels like home. I already live half the world away from where I was born and miss my old continent too much.

You should probably be open to opportunities in the coming period and not constrain yourself too much. I think your job that allows you to travel is good way for this energy to play out.

Ohh do I have a story for you....

The very first transit of Uranus conjunct my MC (Taurus 9degree) lost my job of 20yrs (company dissolved) and moved in with my folks in GA for almost a year. Over the next few years I moved to LA for 9mths then back to GA with the folks for 6mths, then SC for 6mths and now in TN. During that whole time PLUTO has been transiting my 6th house...I have been without steady work for almost 3 years, I'm living on food stamps and barely surviving. I have eaten all my savings on rent and I still can't find work. It just feels like a curse. Now, currently Uranus is conjunct my 10th house moon. My career as an actress feels like it's just all slipping away. I feel like giving up!

I haven't had the conjunction, but the square was ongoing, when it was around 14* Taurus. It's now semi-sextile my mercury.

@frida oh, a fellow engineer! I am also feeling like a wanderer looking for a home.. I left north America for Europe a couple of years back. Now I am thinking of going back to my birthplace in Asia and hoping I am not disappointed. Funny (similar) coincidences we have! 😃

Oh yeah, I bet the square was "fun" too! I had that as a teenager, it mostly had to do with my studies back then.

@angryant2021, it's always nice to hear from other people who have moved a lot. Very interesting that you are planning to go back to your birthplace! That's exactly what happened to me with Uranus square Moon, among other maybe even more relevant things - I spent 3-4 months in my birthplace because I had to take care of some things. I was really reviewing my life and past so it wasn't that enjoyable, but there were also fun moments.

Yeah, I can confirm so far that even the overseas trip with this transit is full of last minute changes and questions about where the home is.

So I did end up moving flats in July 2023 when Uranus was 2 deg off my MC and exact trine to natal Uranus.

Recently got a reading done and it's really pushing me towards a new career (more like side hustle). Maybe it's the Pluto on my mercury, for some reason I really want more money. I haven't bought books in like the last 10 years but this year alone I bought 6 already. The reading also gave me hope that I should indeed try to settle roots down here.

Anyway, realized my mother's sun is Taurus 24, exactly on my MC. Squaring my 24 aqua moon, I hope this is not ominous for her. Read an blurb about how the midheaven is the parent that wore the pants in the family.. which isn't so true here. Need to do some more digging ...

Uranus has been square my IC and MC, and things are really up in the air. Uranus might be in my dad’s moon, and he’s been really anxious - he admits it now. His job is up in the air again. It might be in his sixth house, not sure about his MC.

I am so glad you gave us an update! So did you move with your boyfriend? It sounds like things are really developing in relation to your MC. I don't know how it is for other people, but coincidently my mothers Sun is also close to my Midheaven so my MC does literally represent my dominant parent. Not much has happened in relation to my mother during this period.

Uranus is done transiting my MC by now (one degree past MC). No changes in my work. But I have an idea for a small side hustle and I started singing in a choir (not work related, but it makes me very happy and it is a Venusian/Taurean thing).

It was fun to observe how things related to my "home" happened on days when Uranus was exactly on the MC. Long story... but e.g. I moved exactly on the day of the last pass. Long time ago an astrologer told me I'll have two home bases somewhere (no idea how she saw that), but here we are, that's exactly what I'm trying to do and Uranus MC transit seems to have been supporting me in that direction. I am trying to split my time between 2-3 locations.
