everyone gets hurt by rejection, but are there particular placements that makes someone very vulnerable to rejection? to the point where rejection would eventually lead to depression or suicidal idealization?

My mother was very sensitive to other people’s opinions. Her Libra Moon was conjunct Saturn. It’s very likely she was a Cancer Rising so that would have made her Moon even more prominent. Libra Moon is very much oriented on “the other” and has a strong need for social interaction. Any harsh aspect from Saturn to the Moon could indicate that someone is sensitive to depression.

It’s not about everybody, some people affect me more than the others.
I have days when I’m more sensitive.
But I also could take it into Jupiter side and be upset with Universe why idiots are getting sent my way.

Also, I would say all Pluto people and Venus in 1st. Venus needs to be liked when it doesn’t get it, it gets upset

The first thing that came to mind was the relationship between Moon and Saturn.

The second thing was the sign of Cancer.
Cancer is a sign sensitive to rejection, that it why it carries a shell to protect itself.

This is me, until I realize that nothing I do will be okay with some people, and then it stops.

I dropped out of school because of bullying, and being suicidal. I became agoraphobic. That was triggered again after something happened online, back in 2010, and people just expected me to get over it, not realizing (or caring) what it meant to me personally. That was an ongoing thing with someone, until 2017. I don't know why she did it.

I wonder if Chiron placement could also put some fuel into the fire. I could imagine that either Chiron in 1st or 7th house could indicate being bullied or sensitivity to other people’s opinions.

My mother would have her Chiron in 7th house with a Cancer Rising. I have Chiron in 7th house as well and have been very hurt and disappointed by people in the past, but I can usually move past that. I’m very earth dominant and not very sensitive to emotional manipulation. My mother was mostly air. Maybe lack of earth energy can also indicate being more focused on “immaterial” issues like rejection.

Bullying can do a lot of harm to one's emotional health even if you're usually a positive person, so I think it's perfectly normal. And the effect can be longlasting.

Water Moons like Pisces and Cancer tend to be more sensitive. Scorpio Moons are too but they're more resilient and controlled, less likely to cry or act out. And in my experience, Capricorn Moons can be offended easily.
