ok my moon/saturn in my chart is what my life revolves around, the rest of my chart is just seasoning....i'm taurus > so if i go to second house and see it's ruler it's cancer >moon > So Moon would be my focus Then I go see where my moon is and what's going on with it can u look at your charts and tell me how strong of an impact this is in your life overall Example consider their sun sign...
if it's saggitarius for example you'd look at their 9th house ruler > then you'd see whats going on with their 9th house ruler (say it's scorpio for example) Then Pluto would be their defining planet then see if what's going on wiht pluto is a defining feature of who they are IP: Logged |

I'm an Aries, and my first house is Scorpio, conjunct Uranus. I thought you would be looking at where Mars is, though, for Aries. I'm really not up on my astrology terms anymore. I'm Mars in Pisces, in my fourth house. square moon, venus and nodes, trine uranus/ascendant. IP: Logged |

This is interesting. From the above, my Mars might the big theme. But It wouldn’t minimize the theme of the other placements.

So can we say your home life was very spiritual and is the main thing that shaped who you are today? Or something along those lines..maybe the conflict (squares) in your faimily life is something you never really got over? idk..not good at interpreting but something with home life is key to who you are...according to what i'm thinking IP: Logged |

i think you'd be looking at what's going on with pluto in your case if scorpio rule your first house (just according to my little theory which i pulled out my ass but seems to fit the charts i have and am just wondering how it fits the charts u guys have) IP: Logged |

Wait. I thought you’re looking at the house what your sign originally rules. (I thought your sign is Sun. So it’s AC…) Like you said Taurus- second house ruler. So Scorpio - 8th ruler. I’m confused more… I think you might be wrong😉 Your theory needs more base and bones.

My theory was check sun Then check sun's house Then check houses ruler So I'm Taurus Second house Ruled by moon (Three steps) So my defining feature would be moon and i'd go see what's going on with moon So if you're scorpio you'd go to 8th house ruler which is __aries?____ and then see what is going on with the 8th house ruler which you said was Mars. Right? IP: Logged |

I think moon is generally pretty important. I would say in different periods of my life, different planets are in focus. IP: Logged |

The Sun is very important in our chart but I don’t think it determines the focus in our chart like that. Like a recipe, it’s about the combination of ingredients that makes it into something unique. But the Sun definitely is a big part of the flavor. My Sun is in Taurus and 8th house My 2nd house cusp is in Scorpio conjunct Uranus and the north node is in my 2nd house as well My Pluto (modern ruler of Scorpio) is in Libra conjunct Ascendant My Mars (ancient ruler of Scorpio) is in Cancer conjunct Saturn in my 10th house Both Pluto and Mars are important in my chart because they are located in angular houses. My 2nd house is important as well, my north node is located there and it’s opposite my 8th house where I have a Taurus stellium. Sometimes there is a lot of focus on the house opposite the house where you have a lot of planets. I personally wouldn’t say that Pluto is the main focus of my chart. It’s important, but it’s only one of the main players in the story. To me, it’s my entire 2nd - 8th house axis that is the focus of my chart. IP: Logged |

I have done it a little differently...Cancer Sun in 8th Sun ruled by Moon (Cancer) Moon in Cap in 2nd, Moon ruled by Saturn (Cap) Saturn in Leo in 9th Saturn ruled by Sun... and we start the circle again Your way would be this: Sun in Cancer 8th 8th ruled by Gemini (Mercury) Mercury in Leo 9th 9th ruled by Leo (Sun) and we are back slight difference. I think this just shows there are different ways that planets and themes are or can be identified. Honestly, I can think of times illustrating how all the planets have been critical in my life lessons, so I don't know that I can say one is more than another. I feel Saturn, I feel Jupiter, I feel Mars, I feel Moon... and on and on and on. IP: Logged |

I agree, we are our entire personality. All planets are relevant. Different planets will be activated at different times. Progressions and transits matter too. Some parts of our personality are more dominant but we shouldn’t try to oversimplify. IP: Logged |

For me its the Nodes too. This especially as i get older. But I also think that one should look at the shape of their chart.Mine's a 'bundle chart'. So whenever there is a cluster of planets bundled up into one small space, the individual tends to be very narrow minded. This is true of me. I can't "multi task" or divert attention into many things. My focus has been on my career and establishing financial stability. Little else has been as important. IP: Logged |
