Topic: First meet chart - Late ascendant. Doomed??

So I’ve finally met a guy I have been talking to for years online in person we live very far away from each other for context. But considering we’ve talked almost everyday for years it hasn’t been a problem. In person has been amazing and just as magical if not more. Fundamentals, communication, it’s all there. However when I did our first meet chart we have an ascendant at 27degrees which is said to not be a lasting relationship. Really don’t want to be in my head but can’t help it. Normally I know to look at a lot of aspects when determining a connection but having read a few places on a late ascendant first meet chart I feel sad? Are we doomed? A spark is very important.If its there. Thats all you need👌🏿Where is the ruler of this 1st meeting chart placed? Are there any planets in house 1 or conj the Asc? I take it that the chart is interpreted as one would interpret a natal chart? So if that is the case, i have never heard of people being written off as "doomed" if born on a late degree Asc🤷🏿♂️. I think the 1st meeting chart would detail how things were when you guys 1st met. How things will be however, will be progressions. No? Add to that transits from his & your natal chart etc. So many other things to consider. I wouldn't write it off based off of one thing. I would enjoy it and see how things unfold 👌🏿 IP: Logged |

So true and I try not to have one thing try to determine it all I just saw a lot on the late ascendant of a first meet chart being not so positive 😭 I can’t figure out how to post photos(maybe cause I’m on the phone?). But so our ascendant is in Virgo at 27degrees. And mercury is places in the 8th house in Taurus  and Venus in cancer in the 10th house. Mercury and Venus are sextiling at 6 degrees but in a separation as opposed to an applying but a good aspect none the less! We have sun, Uranus, moon, mercury, Jupiter, and north node in the 8th house which is wild haha. IP: Logged |

Ruler of 1st in 8th typically suggests a situation that isnafr from predictable or "surface level" focused. Were.tjere upheavals or interruptions during the 1st meeting? Maybe you had to switch restaurants because the one you went to was too busy? OR have unusual things happen whilst you were trying to engage with each other in conversation? i.e. Interrupted by phone calls? Unable to follow the chain of the conversation? And even afterwards, there are delays in being able to reach each other? Mercury emphasized hete neags communication is important. So (as such) social media and communication devices play a key role. When in house 8, the communication faces disruptions & upheavals. Is the synastry between you two encouraging? IP: Logged |
