I work with the 10th house a lot. I'm a musician.
I am a Crab which is a Genius. My Venus is in the 10th house (conjunct Midheaven).

However I have a Saturn squ. Sun aspect. (My Father didn't like/love me a lot.)

My Sun sign is Cancer but I am more like a Capricorn, sometimes. (Moon is in Capricorn)

What an intro 😔. "My father didn't like me a lot". I feel like a lot of Moon in Cap or Moon in Cap have had to do without atleast one parent's affection. Or feeling it was lacking.

I wonder what your Asc is? With Venus in 10th, I would say that that is more your reputation. Maybe you are an attractive person?Very diplomatic? Or aesthetically gifted? Etc.

As music is your profession , you harmonize (Ven). And this suggests an ear for collaboration or being able to understand what feels good(Ven).

With all that being said however, it could be a factor in your work being music. But is not in and of itself the determining factor. I would look to the 6th house for work related everyday grind.

The 10th is more about your reputation in as far as the public is concerned. Your elevated status (if you will). And you may find that even in your musical environment, not everyone you work with will have Venus in 10th.

You may find Mars in 10th for the work a****le or twitch! Saturn in 10th for the manager or authority figure, Jupiter in 10th for the one who is always making others laugh, Moon in 10th for the one who is the most emotionally changeable or emotionally charged etc.
