Someone please look at my chart and help me figure out what I need to do to find a HOME. And by that I mean a place that is quiet, clean, and without drama, that I don't have to leave any time soon. I'm desperate.I have been strongly struggling with this Pluto transit in my 4th house started in 2007/2008--at least, this is what I believe is the source of my issues. I have no idea what it is trying to teach me and it feels like it wants to do nothing but screw up my life and my faith in it. Like it's supposed to be about destruction and regeneration, right??? Where is the regeneration? This transit is nearly over (I think? In a couple years? Using placidus anyway), but at this point I have little to no belief that the housing part of my life will improve. I've moved over 30 times since the transit began in 2008. I lost a parent at the beginning of it, which actually has been nothing compared to all of the moves, the lack of stability, and the stress (and by extension the arising health problems) and hopelessness all the moving and lack of stability has caused. I'm okay with myself and who I am, so I doubt it has anything to do with "finding home within" or some other crap. And yet every single place I have lived has failed. Smokers, noise from neighbors at intolerable levels, construction I couldn't have predicted, incredibly toxic roommates, mice, and more. I was pretty neutral about life before this transit. Only one move also. I can't say I really had any significant home issues even with Neptune and Uranus being where they are natally. I don't want to start a family, I don't want to reconcile with my still alive family (I went no contact with them for being toxic), I just want a small space I can breathe in, heal myself, relax. Instead I have become increasingly despondent. There is no rebirth here. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't know what it wants me to do. I just want it to stop. I'm not a chart reader, but it looks like you had Pluto square your Sun, and opposed your Mars for a while. I had the square to my mercury, and then my ceres/chiron/sun, and it's horrible. Now it's moved on to square my Uranus/ascendant. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately the difficulty has been going on for much longer than a year. And pluto isn't squaring my sun anymore, and yet I still feel totally awful. Like "why bother trying anymore, nothing you do fixes it and something always goes wrong anyway" levels.IP: Logged |

I can relate to a lot of what you said. I am very Plutonian my self. This Pluto rx has been effing me up. It's like revisiting how much pain I was in at the end of last year. But less intense. It feels difficult to move forward with anything. IP: Logged |

If you read the twin flame 1111 blog it says this week is a time to repair relationships with family members. I have been starting to do so. Having compassion for their generational trauma helps. IP: Logged |

I understand. I’ve had a lot of difficulty for years. I didn’t think it was just a year. This is exactly how I feel. IP: Logged |

Hiii, fellow Aries. ♈️I *knew* you were going to mention Pluto being in the 4th House just by reading the title. 💯 I can relate to some of this. My mother passed away when Pluto was conjunct my IC. My grandfather died (2) months after she did. A close cousin (2) years later. I've moved a handful of times since 2015 - not quite as much as you have but more than I expected. *sigh* At one place, my neighbor was the building Maintenance Man who had master keys to all the units. He unlocked my door and came into my apartment WITHOUT PERMISSION several times!! Like he wanted to catch me naked or something. I threatened him with the police and he finally stopped. He & his girlfriend were BOTH super obsessed with me for NO reason. I felt like they wanted to keep me locked away in their private dungeon to do with me as they pleased. It was creepy AF! On top of that... she told me that her brother (whom I'd never met) wanted to MARRY ME. Like what the hell? 🤣 Apparently, he lived across the street and had been watching me for months. I had to get up out of there. I initially liked the next spot I moved to. Loved the area. But my neighbor was a true bytch at first! Could tell that she was stressed & lonely. Once she started having great sex though (I could hear it) - she was much more chill. 👍 I ultimately ended up moving a year later though because the Landlord owned a hidden Bat House (down the street) and her bats were escaping into our apartments! She didn't give a damn either she would say "don't hurt them" all nonchalantly. Like lady f--k you and these bats! I moved a month later. The place I reside in now is my favorite that I've ever lived. 💛 I'm happy! Great sense of community here. So don't lose hope, my friend. Things will improve. During this transit, I have strengthened my bond with certain Loved Ones while letting others go. 💜 I also feel deeply compelled to honor the legacy of my ancestors before me and learn from their mistakes. I'm still on the journey! So there is still more growing to do. IP: Logged |

I can relate, but it’s been in my third house since the early degrees of Capricorn. The moving is the one thing I haven’t done, we’ve been stuck, but my dad wanted to move, right after my mum died. He had me looking up places where he could transfer, with his job. I’m dreading it moving into my fourth house, given everything that’s already happened. IP: Logged |

I went through this transit and I can relate. I didn’t move that many times but I did relocate to different cities and also abroad, where I changed apartments pretty frequently. In all the places where I lived I felt homeless. The experience of Pluto transiting the house was very uprooting for me, as if I couldn’t feel at home wherever I went and when I started to feel at home somewhere, the situation became difficult so that I was forced to move again. The feeling of insecurity was strengthened when Uranus started transiting my natal 7th house. Not only my foundation was unstable but also people in my life were unpredictable and unreliable. Tr Pluto made several challenging transits while in the 4th house, to my planets and points in other angular houses, including luminaries. One of my main goals during that time was to buy my own apartment, which would give me some sense of stability. The first thought when I earned my first money was to put it aside so that I can afford it one day. Just when Pluto was leaving my 4th house, tr Saturn entered it. That’s when I moved back from abroad to my home country and lived with my parents almost for the whole duration of Saturn stay there. When Saturn was leaving the 4th house I bought my own apartment, with my own savings and a little help from my parents, and no mortgage was involved. It is a lovely place in a lovely area where I have been living for the last 5 years. My natal 4th house has now no major transits in it and it’s all quiet on the home front : ) From the perspective of time, I think Pluto placed me in interesting places, very unusual, something completely different. Hard as I tried it was never really meant to last but it did contribute to building my own, strong foundation. Be encouraged, this transit of Pluto is difficult but things will improve eventually!

Gemmi, thanks for your reply. What do you think Pluto and Saturn were trying to "teach" you with their transits? Everyone keeps harping on about the fact that there is always some kind of lesson, but the only thing I want to do is lie down in bed and not get up again until it is over. Also, do you have any planets nataly in the 4th house? I remember asking myself this question as well, when I was going through this transit and I was waiting for it to be finally over. I think the lesson might be different for different people. Pluto transits are generally lone-wolf transits so you are forced to rely on yourself, to build your own resourcefulness and strength. Difficult circumstances just push you to look for it within. During that time I also thought about my roots, what gives me a sense of security, stability etc. I know some people who moved a lot and who didn't have this transit and they were perfectly fine with the instability, they didn't feel homeless, frequent relocations were just not a problem. It is this transit that forces us to consider these issues more than ever before. I know those who had this transit but Pluto was making only easy aspects so things were going much smoothy for them. In my case, Pluto made 7 difficult aspects while in this house, to planets in angular houses including Neptune in the 4th house natally. Saturn's transit in the 4th house which happened when Pluto had left the house helped me to fix the problems caused by Pluto there. What happened with this transit was really according to what all the textbooks describe. After some difficulty (moved back to my home country, had to live with my parents which was not easy) I managed to stabilize this area at the end of the transit by buying my own apartment.

Damn. It's so good that you were lucky enough to have Saturn coming after stuff to help fix Pluto's destruction. Unfortunately my placements mean Pluto will come to destroy everything my Saturn helped me stabilize. Just endless collapse, I guess. Only more justification for my username. Ugh... IP: Logged |

I think you can do without transiting Saturn there, lol. It did give me peace at the end of the transit which is a typically Saturnian outcome, but the transit itself was not easy at all, especially that it happened just after Pluto's transit. I had the impression that Saturn wanted to punish me for something I never really wanted in the first place... IP: Logged |

Wow, that's a lot of moves. What Pluto wants from you is to exercise your power at home: to be more clear within yourself what you feel, to be more clear what your needs are so that you can clear away obstructions (usually internal) to getting what you need. Also, the main transit at work in recent years is Pluto's transit parallel natal Moon — which is just about to be over — that has been at work for most of these many years. Also, Saturn's square to natal Moon in recent months that has reinforced it. I strongly recommend keeping some Amethyst on your body to help lift your spirits, especially as the Saturn transit retrogrades back into a tighter square. In astrology there are most descriptions, not necessarily solutions for this. The solution is in the power you carry with you to co-create your life. It is a power we access when we set aside the problem from our minds and all the irritation or frustration and communicate with Spirit/The Universe to bring about the desired solution — without telling it how. Let the universe's reach into the unknown bring about the solution in a surprising way. In a peaceful, meditative state envision yourself at peace in a stable home and verbalize that, commanding (not asking or begging) that it be brought into being for the betterment of all who will be affected. That is the key: the inclusive benevolence that recognizes our connectedness to what is around us. We are all connected so that our own peace benefits others. Envisioning this with love and gratitude amplifies it, because the power is actually love. You have a lot of power. We all do — when we access it through the positive consciousness of love and gratitude to put out waves of creative intent that will come back to us. You've got Mercury trine and parallel Pluto. I know if you focus your intent and communicate it clearly to Spirit you will get what you need. It takes time for the window of opportunity to open, but be certain that it will happen. ------------------ The Declcinations Guy Soul Stars Astrology Gemstone Readings for energy balance and healing We were born for these times. Thank you, Kannon, for your kind words.I do still have one question though. What about all the good things I got in my life unexpectedly where I *didn't* do any of that? I don't understand why I essentially have to do the astrological version of prayer to get this one thing. @Gemmi, thanks for clarifying. That does make me feel a bit better. IP: Logged |
